Great restaurant to attend in the summer season (pleasant atmosphere on the terrace). Good service, great food. Disappointing structure regarding the interior and bathrooms. However recommended, good value for money.

Staying here. Small but comfortable room. Staff is nice. The fettuccine made in the parmesan wheel was amazing. Only downfall… no A/C. But there is a fan and a lovely view.

Gorgeous location on the waterfront with plenty of outdoor seating thankfully with shade for the hot afternoons. Ideal for a coffee and/or a cocktail and people-watching. Sunday evenings, there's a live band with a piano and double bass playing classic tunes with a twist — there's an extra €5 per person cover when they're playing — very much worth it.

Great location and view if you choose the lake view room. Definitely among the cheapest and small 10 rooms) of bellagio but would need in a proper restoration (at least redo the bathrooms…). Anyway for a weekend, and just to sleep you can adapt…

We at at the restaurant below the hotel on the 1st floor. There was an American couple next to us who had the cheesy pasta which they said was too much cheese. But what I remembered most of all was when the bill came the American lady said that they had overcharged her. I was impressed that she could remember how much each of the items were in the menu. I didn't think too much of what happened but I remembered that there was a UK lady who said that the restaurant took her credit card (turned out to be a scare because she had the card with her all along). A lot of odd customers and the food was good mainly because we sat outside and enjoyed the boat ride on the lake.

Horrible service. Do not waste your time with this restaurant. You can find much better in Bellagio. We found multiple hairs in the our food and they wouldn’t take it back or refund us. What a disgrace.

Loved my stay at Hotel Suisse, I'll start with the areas for improvement; the rooms could do with a little updating and in particular the bathrooms whereby the shower wasn't attached at above head height (you have to pick it up for a rinse) not a massive problem but something which they could easily improve, this is the only reason I knock off a star, otherwise the breakfast, staff, views and location were amazing. I'd definitely look at staying there again.

Very nice view, very nice people, very nice food and nice prize, molto bene! duck terine was exceptionally good! wide wine selection. Room was bigger than I expected and good price and clean. I will recommend this sweet place di Bellagio.

Incredibly disappointing food considering the price. Very simple presentation and far too much reliance on salt, so that almost all other flavours are drowned out. The dining room is attractively set out, but there is no atmosphere. There are much better restaurants in Bellagio. Save your money for them.

Great location. Great views from room balcony. Room heating good. Clean. It's basic not fancy to stay but a great base to explore Bellagio. Close to ferries and cabs. Restaurant was very very good. It was high quality. The service was also very bright and alert and much higher than normal Italian standards. Ask for and meet Ms. Gina there … she is a star!

Excellent attention, the best restaurant in Bellagio and one of the best in all the lake as.

Posting about the restaurant and not the hotel. My favorite out of the restaurants in Bellagio. It is a little more fancy than the others with entrees at around €14-16 and mains starting at €20.

We went to the restaurant at Hotel Swisse. We had risotto and it was the best I've ever had Along with the risotto, we tried the salmon pasta and salt grilled sea bass. Very delicious food. Add to that the excellent service and the amazing sea view.

Restaurant only review: (1) best cooked scallops in my life (2) beef with goose liver and Madeira sauce amazing incredible (3) staff very hospitable. Overall best meal in Italy so far. It's fairly expensive but not as expensive as an equivalent restaurant back home. (The restaurant has a cover charge of 4€ p/p, which I guess is to discourage the masses from taking up a table in this prime location and not ordering a meal. )

Restaurant looks expensive and nice and has lake view but it is a tourist trap. Had a steak and bottle of wine here in September 2017. It was our most expensive meal in Bellagio by double and it was our worst by a long way. The steak was tough and chewy. By contrast, there is a steak restaurant around the corner without a lake view that serves a fantastic steak.

We went to the restaurant for lunch. Staff welcoming and food was excellent. The cheese pasta which is finished at the table in a huge wheel of cheese actually drew a crowd around our table.

Enjoyed our stay at Hotel Suisse very much. Excellent service, friendly and very helpful staff, breath taking view, the restaurant was the best. The owners made us feel at home. Located right across the street from the ferry. Very highly recommended…

The rigatoni was some of the best pasta I've ever eaten in Italy. Nice service, great spot for people watching!

A good hotel perhaps however considering the amount of "structural" noises the building would be the case to do a renovation.

Local overrated by the lake visit, but not an excuse to charge more people!
€50 for 2 Boneless veal cutlets of 100 gr at most that looked like you were hit by a car or just had a fight with the cook!
Accompanied by number 5 vegetables neither raw nor cooked is a shame!
€22 for 2 Chocolate cupcakes which maybe were the only good thing but saw the price a bit indigestible!
Coffee and the bitter we drink it at home! We ran away after paying only €150!
The bill would be motivated if the food and service were flawless, but they were not! A real robbery!
P. S in the covered it is usually also included a bottle of water if you pay €7 for 2 people! Not €4 apart!

The location is very central
The rooms are not luxurious and at the height of the restaurant which vice versa is very comfortable, well furnished and overlooking the lake. There is a terrace where you can eat with panoramic views. The menu is respectable and the dishes well prepared. The cellar is well-selected. The staff is very courteous and professional.

Great food. Had a sea bass encrusted in salt. They fillet it and added a tomato olive dressing on top of the fish. It was fantastic. Staff was very friendly and responsive. 4-20-2016

Dinner here was good, though a little pricey for the quality.

The best food experience Ever!
We started with the duck terrine… incredible!
Followed by the pork for my wife and the pepper steak for me… intense! Will be telling all my friends.

Is eaten by dogs, do not be fooled by the Nice location.

The restaurant looks fantastic but the food and service were average so our experience seemed like a missed opportunity considering other options available.

Very great hotel at last minute walk-in. I never do these postings. However, everyone made my one-night stay overly enjoyable, especially Lucrezia (spelling? ). Came days prior to big Easter weekend. Will stay again next time.
