Discreet hotel restaurant. Plenty of tables well spaced outside as well. Made in a large farmhouse. Quiet and relaxing.

Excellent steak. Great friendly service, very highly recommended.

Very cozy place, I often go for lunch with friends and colleagues. Excellent quality, always varied and tasty menu, with 10 euros paid the whole!

Nice and cozy local, but the dishes are not abundant, quality and goodness in the norm. I was not particularly impressed anyway.

Informal but impeccable service, excellent portions and quality of food. Really good meats, very well cared for first courses. Possibility of agreeing set menus for groups of people, the managers are very flexible and willing to find the right agreement with the customers. Prices more than honest, rooms tastefully furnished; Ample parking.

I have been there several times, for dinners with friends or family. I'll be back because when I go I'm fine, elegant but cozy, warm environment. I even had a baptism banquet and I received the compliments of my guests both for the place and, above all, for the culinary proposals, so I made a very good figure spending the right. At the same price in other places I had offered more scarce things or formulas that gave much "of the arrangement". I came back the other night for my birthday and I still confirm everything: great food, interesting varieties. Classy service but family, informal but always courteous. Prices always adequate to quality, never excessive. It is always a pleasure then to chat with the proprietor.

Booked Christmas lunch, I still do not know how it will be… The menu is appetizing, we hope it is also good.

The Locanda del Vecchio Gelso is located in Burago Maldonado and is both a bar/restaurant and a hotel. I have never slept there but I have participated in several aperitifs/group dinners. You eat in abundance rustic and good food, even for the drink the two nice owners do not skimp on the quantities.

Informal but impeccable service, great portions and food quality. Really good meats, first courses very cured. More than honest prices, tastefully decorated rooms. Ample internal parking.

I went for a good quality lunch price and from the menu it shows that even in the evening the prices are not high despite being a 4 star.

I go every Thursday in the work lunch break and I do the full menu (first, second, contour, coffee and water) at €10. They are always offered different dishes and the service is friendly and fast, in the hour that I have available I can go there, eat and return.

Could go better, the service was not up to par, the food not even, examples; They carry the armchair Taragna after explicit request to have it normal, they write on the menu polenta and then bring it Taragna, the cost was overcooked and in a case also burned, bream in potato crust non-existent, fried dumpling dipped in the oil.
As the last of the year we expected something better.

Tried to lunch along with three colleagues.
Poor quality and very friendly, the location is pretty sad.
Overall the experience was negative.
