I would say really not bad as a hotel but in particular the piano bar managed beautifully and especially by the great Andrea excellent barman and with a lot of experience as well as being a DOC person.

Not so happy. Instead of a warm welcome as a platinum member I was asked for an ID for my 10 years old son. Allegedly he could not stay at the Novotel without it… : ( Room is average. Pool and restaurant are below average. Parking is narrow but there are plenty slots. Parking costs 16.50 Euro per day.

The hotel is not four stars. Breakfasts are very simple. One of the elevators didn't work (the 9th floor hotel).

Great staff, good restaurant unfortunately a bit outdated however clean rooms.

Nine floors but only one lift working in the morning. We were at the 9th floor with luggages and have to wait 20 minutes to go downstairs.

The service for Dinner was so poor, it’s our 3rd night eating here, as we couldn’t fine a nice restaurant in town. Food is good but Service is shocking. 2 nights in a row we sat down 6 of us and other people that were dress better than us were served and eat before we did. Not happy and would fine somewhere else next time.

Just ok place to stay. My wife and I chose to stay here because of the proximity to the airport. Weight room was very small and could be a lot better. Pool was closed for whatever reason during my stay. Bed was comfy and everything worked in the room. They also have a small selection of English channels.

I attended an event organized by an association! The hotel is located in a particularly convenient area for those arriving in the city from the highway. It has comfortable internal parking and the conference rooms are equipped and hospitable. Recommended!

Very easy to find, and despite being next to rather busy streets the soundproofing is excellent. Underground parking on several levels.
Welcoming and well-air-conditioned meeting rooms, also excellent restaurant with typical dishes and seafood cooked with care.

One flaw: There are no toilets in the lobby/restaurant area, but you have to climb to the first floor (not bad, there are elevators! )
One last applause to the friendly and helpful staff, the added value is undoubtedly Valeria at the reception: a force of nature always on the move and willing to lend a hand… Keep it up!

First time in Genoa. Chosen Novotel Xche is part of the group Accor, frequent I usually love these hotels in France and we are well. I would say well in Italy too. Nice staff Clean room and bathroom. No need mega Hotel X feel good.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was excellent. But I take 2 stars because the rooms and bathrooms urgently need a renovation if the hotel wants to remain competitive!

Nice hotel with big rooms. The breakfast was good. But they close the breakfast counters while guests are still taking breakfast. Rude. The reception staff are also not very helpful and are busy all the time to make you wait till the finish with other customer. Takes a lot of time to check in and out. Also they were not ready allot room just 15 minutes prior to check in time. Rules. Little away from the city center. But otherwise nice place for short business stay.

A really nice hotel. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Despite the busyness the staff do a very good job at maintaining a very good breakfast service. Great place for a relaxed dinner as well.

Hotel in a peripheral location, convenient for those arriving by car but away from the center (which is also reachable on foot but with about 45 minutes of walk and some ascent).
It is on a hill so the view from the sea side rooms is good. The rooms should be renovated, starting from the carpets and bathrooms.
I did not find any special benefits so on other occasions I preferred staying in other facilities closer to the center.

Modern hotel chain. Very large rooms, offer parking (paying), spectacular free buffet breakfasts with varied products. It is not inside the old town but very close by. Urban bus stops almost at the same door. Very friendly staff.

The structure is clean but it should be modernized, very age, for me it is more a 3 star as hotel! Breakfast is miserable and with a poor variety of things, very few waiters, bad baked sweets, this morning there was even a raw cake inside. In the rooms and bathrooms the minimum indispensable, very miserable on everything except here the prices that are very very plentiful! A coffee 2, 50 euros a bottle of water from 50 ml idem and then all very very expensive!

Garbage retarded, I booked five rooms the first two days, the result of one to tell me was canceled? Is there a garbage hotel that cancels the room without notice? Really is a bad comment, no words dropped not recommended anyone to go here, the front desk people are particularly impolite, I really do not know how this hotel is a four-star.

Hotel absolutely under brand standards. Furniture that at least can be defined âge… It is seen that it was renovated in the late Eighties or so and save a few interventions, did not intervene to modernise the situation. Both the common parts and the rooms should be redone in a more modern style. The beds are still comfortable and are well soundproofed from the street. The staff is still professional and helpful. It has private covered parking and closed.

Nice hotel for a short visit to Genoa. Own underground garage available. Nothing for a multi-day stay.

Pool area very small and uncomfortable. Room booked as family room was also way too small. Breakfast was not high quality.

I would be to give it a 3.5 at this hotel where at least the rooms are clean, in order not too spacious but still respect the expectations.
The breakfast is plentiful, varied and continental so you can range from sweet to salted without limitation, the staff are friendly and helpful.
At the entrance you can entertain with foosball and Xbox with Kinect (because you do not grow MaiXD) lit at every hour of the day and night.
Inside the hotel there is a gym open always and available to all customers at no extra cost and time limitations.
All in all the overnight stay here was pleasant and for being a week of work, the hotel made it more comfortable.

Nice room, where I needed two attempts to understand how to open the window. Ahem:) On the wall hung an unbelievable (! ) creepy picture that I would have liked to put upside down against the wall at night. But art is a matter of taste.
The breakfast was so good and delicious — I personally had a little more freshness — fresh vegetables, especially.
Nice and helpful staff. Nice that there is an underground garage, but it is — like somehow everywhere in Italy, seems to me — very tight (or my vehicle was too big). For a smaller rental car it should be more relaxed:)
The so-called "fitness Studio" was my main disappointment: at about 15 m2 There are three devices that are at least apparently from the 80s. Perhaps it is true in fashion that everything comes back again, but… probably not for devices. Equipment: A bicycle, a treadmill and a device for all kinds of muscle groups. A few weights, a mat and — above all — some space to be able to work with it too? False indication. That's a pity! Another "fitness room" Visitor told me, however, that in the past, there have been weights. Soso. For my part I am disappointed back in the room, I did my workout there and left him the air in this small room.
Otherwise you should be aware that the hotel is not in the center and therefore evening activities could take a while on foot. There is a restaurant in the hotel which I did not test.

Check in: Very fast, we do not minforme the small gym or the parking. I pay the rest of the stay and that's it. I ask the question, arrived in the room not the Welcome kit (coffee kettle, tea) nothing. Comfortable bed bathroom leaves to be desired. Staff not friendly. I don't advise.

Typical hotel for business, very much. Modern and especially Vicibo to the motorway exit and the port. Excellent as a starting point for work activities. Large and well-maintained rooms with Wi-Fi working and minibar. Parking is possible at the cost of 14 euro/day and breakfast included. Can make dinner at the hotel. Overall I would say good even though prices are not very cheap.

This is a hotel to stay on maybe for a business trip, but it is not really ideal to visit the city.
The style is contemporary, but not cared for and in some detail sins of maintenance.
The cleanliness is essential and not in depth.
The staff are very nice, but not enough to manage the days in which there are many guests, days in which to access the breakfast room need to make long queues for example missing a shuttle service reserved for guests and I emphasize, although it seems a Nonsense, because I stayed here during a taxi strike and I couldn't get to the property in other ways than walking at night.
The restaurant very expensive and completely wrong with the offer.
In short, a lot of but that could easily transform if there was a real willingness to improve on the part of this structure.
The 3 stars are incentive.

Hotel isnt in the best area (surrounded by busy roads and tower blocks), but is easy to find from the motorway. Serves food until late and has games for the kids in reception. Breakfast has a good selection.

The hotel is clean and tidy breakfast if you don't get down early you are lucky to get anything to eat the film oliver comes to mind five stars clean room one star for food.

Overall I'm happy with this hotel, it is nice, friendly, welcoming and clean. Lovely large windows you can open more than just a crack and the sunshine warms the whole room in minutes, but having said that, the curtains block out even the harshest sunlight so if you're sleeping through the day you'll have no problem. The air conditioning in my room seemed pretty useless, much like a windfarm it was a glorified fan and did nothing more than blow air around not cooling it. The room did have a "minibar" (a small fridge with 4 bottles of water 2 cans of cola and one beer) pretty pointless so I put the fridge to use and stored my own beer and water in there not touching the hotel provided stuff as this was far too expensive in my opinion. (€5.50 for a 330ml can of beer) The room was fairly clean and tidy, no problems for anyone that isn't too picky. The hotel is well equipped, it's own restaurant pool and bar. Good food and a large selection at breakfast not so large for other mealtimes. Pool was not open when I stayed, which I am really disappointed about. Being from England the temperature here in October is still very warm for me and I would have been in the pool everyday had it been open. Plus this is more disappointing when I booked the hotel thinking I don't mind being further from the centre of Genoa if I can go in a pool whenever, but I couldn't even take a sunlounger beside the pool. Like I say very disappointed here.

There are 4 stars on it and the hotel pictures at the booking look reasonably appealing, but what one expects is different. The room was not really clean: a verbröselter/versiffter telephone handset, which we had to use, however, to have our filthy duvet (with various stains on it) exchanged. Next to it, the bathroom looked pretty over the years…
The coffee at breakfast could hardly be called coffee. The rest of the breakfast was quite unlovingly done and from the taste it was at most okay.
The parking situation in the area is rather poor, an underground parking space costs 14. €50 per day.
Unfortunately the pool was closed in mid-September.
From the location, the hotel was OK for us as you walked quite quickly to the city centre. Furthermore, the bed was comfortable due to a relatively hard mattress, so we could at least sleep well.

Situated a little bit off the main attractions, although in the middle of Genova. You have to walk at least 10 minutes to the metro along a loud main road and ride like 4 stations to get to the city center. The room was good with a nice view.

Staff are pleasant. Hotel is a bit dated, but a favourite choice for families. There is a small pool on the second floor and a small gym (one treadmill, one bicycle and one multi purpose weight machine).

Super slow lift, the update is more than urgent on these lifts remained blocked in the years 90.
A systematic tail at the entrance of the breakfast, the room dedicated to this meal is clearly too cramped for a hotel of this size… I waited 20 minutes to be able to take my meal and the tail was even more important when I was brought out.
The environment is industrial, no restaurants nearby, if you want to enjoy the city go your way.

Before I say my I read dozens of other reviews, now I wonder if I am the crazy visionary or others completely blind.
In the first place the structure in spite of what is written is everything but new, cleanliness verges on sufficiency is the maintenance perhaps does not reach, worn carpet, doors with closure systems now exceeded for years, elevators with buttons locked, Even at the entrance are missing the lights on the call buttons, replaced by… A nice hole.
Now let's talk about the rooms as you can see from the pictures the first room we were given was undignified not for a 4 star… But for a hostel, the second while being better we did not miss a bar fridge with drinks already open.
Could not open the windows, basically if anything should happen it's locked in the room like caged mice.
Now let's talk about the Olympic pool, very small and obviously full, without obligation of headphones, so that each customer can taste the hair of others, the water certainly does not shine for cleaning, and the tiles of the pool are sbeccate and Dirty.
From the pool among other things is beautiful to see the façade of the hotel in stone, which definitely deserves a clean beata.
Lastly we talk about the garages, probably when they built them all used Fiat 126 and Panda because medium-size machines certainly come out with some "Gibollo".

The entrance area and Restaurant very nice. Breakfast buffet is super! The TV is very small, the big bed is comfortable, you can sleep well, but the bed, which is available for children, is very inconvenient. You can feel everything through the mattresses, so not so great… The window was broken, you could not open it. The bathroom is spacious and clean, but the shower head you had to shoot first, because he was tight. Also, you can't close the bathroom.

Hotels Near Highway, internal parking with additional charge. Comfortable and quiet. Free Wi-Fi, decent coverage. Modern décor, but the carpet on the ground, the curtain in bath shower, flat TV but a bit small and the walls plain rough showing some year, which however is comfortable.

Hotel ok, staff ok, breakfast but coffee and milk of vending is pretty bad and lose several points to breakfast service.
The rooms nice and clean but the bed is pretty inconvenient (was better on the floor). The conditioning of the rooms was rather cold, compared to other properties, the evening out and inside the jacket.
All in all not bad, I think the Hotel Manager, with a bit of good will, these things can be resolved.

Hotel was full. Elevator was going almost non-stop. It was noisy there, but breakfast was fine.

Good for families and other customers. Pool well. Gym small but ok. Communication with the center by bus n1 with good frequency. City with activities for children (aquarium, the bigo, underwater, museum of the sea…)

We are a couple with a newborn to 1 year and 4 months. I must point out the clean room and great location to give us the room from 9 h. 00 a. M. With a cradle! Very good and recommended.

I wanted to inform you that today I walked in at your hotel in Genoa, via cantore to accompany a person who had a meeting at one of your salt at them being 8, 40 in the morning I went to your bar counter to grab a coffee and until everything's fine here. The thing that saddens me and makes me angry and being teased because I can see that it's not a common bar but a hotel that doesn't mean you have to rob people with prices that even in Monaco before the casino pay a coffee 2.00 € because the cost of 3 2 1 cappuccino and coffee because they were so small as to seem fake briosh a cupcake and not the usual cornettoil total cost and State of 11.00 euros but I say you have no shame to take advantage of people

Good hotel but a little bit too far from the center. We took the car to visit the center of Genova and we pay a lot of parking (around 15 euros). . And the hotel parking cost a additional 14 euros per day! Rooms are ok and quiet despite the roads around thanks to the good windows. In my opinion rooms need some renovation to be up to date. Breakfast is excellent.

I don't know who gave this establishment 4 stars, but I see it differently: the rooms are old, with extensive use of carpeting that collects dust and in my case the window was right across the street. The location is great, very close to the motorway exit and close to buses, but conversely quite chaotic. There is a parking lot, but is subject to charges and costs rather expensive. It shows the intention to keep clean environments, but clearly feels inside house dust. Breakfast is expensive, but it's really good.

Also suitable for those interested in visiting Genoa. Modern and essential, restaurant and bar. Has the pay parking, then there's the bus at 50 m from the port. The view is so so even sea side (there is a junction at the front).

Good hotel for not too demanding. Far from the city centre.
