Happy with our hotel really nice nothing to say oh top.

Its located in the very center of the historical Rome: relatively close to every monument, Church/Basilica, Palazzo, Piazza. Very professional and friendly staff. The facility is neat and clean.

Great location near many ancient structures. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. Breakfast is not included but is only €9 per person.

Quiet and quaint perfect location. Everything is walking distance.

The rooms were too small. The air-conditioner could not be turned down any lower than 75°F. The security door did not work correctly with the key card. Also the security door did not have a safety so if you happened to be going through it as it closed it closes on you. Or your luggage. This is highly dangerous especially for small children. There should be a pressure panel similar to that found on the elevators so that if you push on it the door would re-open. Instead the heavy door forces you into the wall. Also, the weekday housekeeping staff were very inefficient and not very attentive. They would come into the room, unplug the key card from the front panel turning off all the lights. And then leave without cleaning the room.

Nice hotel in the middle of all the action. The rooftop wasn't as it seemed in the pictures. Front desk was excellent very attentive and nice always greeted you with a smile.

An elegant four star in a fantastic location.
You can walk to the Colosseum in 10 minutes, the Trevi Fountain in 5 minutes, Piazza Navona and the Pantheon in 15 minutes.
The breakfast room is wonderful with a view of the rooftops of Rome that alone is worth the price of the stay.
The breakfast buffet is rich and meets all the needs for both Italian and international clientele.
The staff of the breakfast room are always kind and attentive to all customer requests.
The hotel lobby is modern, welcoming and equipped with ipads available to customers for every need.
The hotel has classic rooms and modern rooms, the size of the rooms can vary depending on the type chosen.
The advice is always to contact the hotel directly to have the opportunity to indicate your needs.
By booking directly you will have a better price than the classic online booking sites such as booking or expedia.

Location of hotel was perfect, close to everything within walking distance. Rooms were big and comfortable. The folks that worked there were very helpful and kind. Will most definitely recommend the hotel to everyone that I know.

Hotel located in the central area 50 meters of Roman holes. Friendly service. Clean.

Pro: decent location due to proximity to a few tourist sites but not close to any great restaurants. Cons: The bed is hard and about as comfortable as a floor. Also lacks comfortable bedding/pillows. Refrigerator didn’t work. UNABLE TO LOCK ROOM DOOR WHEN LEAVING! (MAJOR SAFETY CONCERN) The bathroom and shower are extra small. Elevator is very slow. Cleaning staff attempted to enter our room several times while we were sleeping and/or getting ready. Check in staff are unwelcoming. Overall, hotel is extremely overpriced based on accommodations and service and definitely doesn’t meet any four star standards. This was my first stay in Rome, so I’m hopeful that there are better hotels available.

Have just got back from 5 days at The Hotel Cosmopolita and had an amazing time. The location is perfect for the Trevi Fountain & The Colesseum being just a short walk away. The staff were lovely from The Front Desk to the lovely ladies at breakfast. The rooms were nice and clean and they even gave us an upgrade as it was our Wedding Anniversary. The Coffee Shop was great and the ice creams! Can not recommend this hotel enough we will definitely be back and can't wait.

Lovely hotel located close to everything. Friendly staff. Small restaurant attached on ground floor and on the top floor looking out over Italy. Room was clean and tidy but was a little snug and hot for our liking. Would stay there again in we were to revisit.

Great location. Room was nice, but could get very hot. Breakfast in the mornings was great before long days of walking.

Great Hotel In a very central location to the Pantheon, Trevi and within walking distance to the Mighty Colosseum. Staff are welcoming and allowed us early check in too. Rooms are clean and contain everything ones needs to enjoy there time in the eternal city.

Hotel in P. Za Venice very nice. Breakfast in penthouse with Panorama of Rome. Clean and spacious rooms. You can't eat.

A stunningly central location but definitely 3 star interior at best. The noise from the plumbing in neighbouring rooms is constant every morning but the nice hard beds meant a good night's sleep.

Very nice Hotel, friendly and helpful staff, the room clean and well heated… breakfast is plentiful and varied… I recommend it.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL! Worst 4-star hotel I’’ve ever been to. It’s definitely just a 2-star hotel only! Don’t be tricked by the front desk photos and star rating! Extremely terrible room condition and custom service! Wi-Fi doesn’t work, shower doesn’t work (unless you can stand a warm-hot-cold shower in a constant cycle with your shower tub plugged and flooded) and the hotel staff and manager doesn’t care even after you complain about it multiple times! Plus no coffee or water service. You have to go out to buy it yourself. Dont waste your money on this trash hotel! go somewhere else!

Courteous and professional staff, clean and well tidied rooms, excellent food, generous breakfast and affordable rates… All in the middle of the capital. Top score more than deserved!

Central to many historic places (walking distance to many touristic spots, if that's the goal) which makes it convenient. Even with the location, it is peaceful and quiet inside the room. Staff are very helpful, kind, and accommodating. Breakfast at the terrace is wonderful with a view. Highly recommend it!

This place is a gem. It is located right at the heart of everything, within a walking distance from all major historic sites in Rome. Many cafes and food joint nearby too. Breakfast at hotel is definitely a go to as well, given the extremely reasonable price. Room that we got were new and extremely spacious. Very well decorated.

Very good hotel completely central, you avoid paying trsnspote because it is close to all the places of interest you can walk hotel very cozy, clean good rooms and breakfast very full to the hotel does not lack completely recommended detail.

Funny size on the room I stayed in. They had 2 single beds, not next to each other but after each other. Apart from that, the hotel is perfectly located close to most tourist attractions, making sure it's just a small wall in any direction to see some of the best Rome has to offer. Would stay here again in the future.

Centrally located, good position for the main tourist spots. Accommodation/decor in room tired looking. No tea making facilities though we did know this in advance of travel. Fridge not working adequately in room, someone was sent to have a look at this very promptly but it still didn't work properly. Daily housekeeping was not the most attentive. Reception service very good. Functional room.

Fantastic location. Even better staff. Little noisy at night. Wi-Fi did not extend to our room.

Excellent location! Centre to the different attractions. 15 min walk to Colosseum. 15 mins to Spanish steps. Room is decent. Small but EU rooms are always smaller than North American ones, so it's within our expectation. Staff are super friendly and helpful. We had breakfast at their roof garden. Their breakfast catered more to our NA taste. They had scrambled eggs and tea!

Its super if you want somewhere central for all the landmarks, don't use the mini bar in the room too expensive! The view from the room was rubbish as we was in the back, the staff were friendly and it has a nice relaxed roof top bar and a cheep cafe on the ground floor!

Rooms aren't as you may be expecting. No free water after the first day of staying. Limited electronic outlets. No dressing table in the room. Friendly and caring cleaners. Not much customer care from the reception staff. Next door bar has good customer service.

Great location, beautiful room, breakfast on the roof top. The only strange thing was all the lights were controlled by inserting your room key card into a slot near the door. Maybe this is a European thing, being from the USA I thought it was strange.

Great service, rooms are clean, great location. Normal European sized rooms so smaller than US or Australia but fine for us with two adults and two children (10&12). Front desk always very helpful. Feels safe. Cafe downstairs. Breakfast upstairs includes an amazing view and simple but good food. Room was quiet. Only thing to look out for is if you have mobility issues there is a small elevator. We will stay here again.

In the heart of Rome, completely renovated rooms, very spacious. Breakfast on the top floor with a view on the altar of the fatherland. Recommended.

Everything you need from a hotel in Rome as far as I am concerned. Perfect position. Great staff. Lovely terrace overlooking the city for breakfast. Spacious, clean, traditional room where everything worked. A bit shabby chic in places but it's a solid, old, city centre building, so is typical of what to expect of that type of establishment and all part of the charm and homely feel of the place. Will be our default location for future visits.

This hotel has the best location for safety and near all the sites. We would recommend this location. The rooms are bueatiful. The staff is very nice and wil give awesome advice on the sites and the direction to see everything. The bathrooms are European small. I loved the security electronic system on the room doors. Higley recommend this hotel.

The room was clean, and the wallpaper/curtains were a nice touch. However, the bed was horrible. My wife and I booked this hotel for 4 nights but ended up bailing on the 2nd day because we simply couldn't sleep on the very uncomfortable bed. It was a notch above sleeping on the floor (it felt like we were lying on a wooden plank). When I went down to the front desk to ask about perhaps getting another room because the bed was so hard and unsleepable, the desk told me all the rooms had the same beds. To add insult to injury, they said people liked sleeping on very hard beds. We stayed at 4 other hotels in Italy, and all of them had great or perfectly acceptable beds. We told the front desk this and they told us that our experience at other hotels didn't make sense because people love crappy beds apparently. When we told them we were cancelling the rest of the reservation, all of a sudden they wanted to somehow remedy the situation. It was too little too late. My advice to Americans visiting Italy would be to do research on star ratings in Europe, as they DO NOT mean the same thing as they do elsewhere. Star ratings in Europe are all about amenities and don't factor in comfort or service excellence. This 4 star hotel was no better than what would pass for a 1.5 or 2 star hotel in the US.

Great location close to major sights and shopping. Nice clean room with minibar, safe and comfortable bed and a good sized crib was provided for baby. Bathroom small but functional. No room service available and we did not purchase breakfast option via hotel as there are many cafés nearby. Would return to Hotel Cosmopolita.

Room was clean but could have done with a renovation. Triple glazing was amazing as this hotel is right in the middle of Rome. A fantastic location to explore the city on foot!

Stayed here with my wife and friends. Easy walk to everything you want to see. Good restaurants nearby. Good staff. NOT luxury but very comfortable.

Staff were really friendly, hotel was super clean and comfy and the location is one of the best in Rome. Highly recommended. We loved it!

Nice location, but terrible service. The room is old and small. The worst and most shocking thing is, the door can not be locked! When we reported this to the reception, he told us, in a rude manner, just to wait in the room, and it took us almost two hours before fixed and totally destroyed our plan that afternoon. And till now I'm still suspecting if our poor old wood was the only door which couldn't be locked… I really don't recommend this hotel, cause it is not worth the price. And check your door if you are living there.

We have just ordered our second stay at Cosmopolita.

We stayed in this hotel a few years ago and the rooms were great staff friendly with an amazing location, about to book again and going back so enough said, dont miss the roof bar.

Not too bad. Location was very good. Room was clean and well serviced. The bathroom was quite old and not spacious. Hot water only worked 2 out of 3 days. Internet was ok, nothing special but at least it worked. Breakfast was very good value at €7.5 per person.

Ideally located just 2 steps from the ancient part of Rome, 500m from the Colosseum metro station, and a 10-minute walk from the historic centre of Rome. Room a little small, but we do not go to Rome to stay in the hotel. Recommended!
