Hospitality and services more than excellent, with professional staff.
Reception, Hall, Bar, lounge, stairs, all with large and bright spaces, well-groomed and furnished. The rooms are large and welcoming, equipped with terrace, and a proper bathroom; clean and well-groomed.
Ideal solution for a working stay.
The hotel has a spa and fitness area; A roof garden with rooftop bar allows you to enjoy panoramic views of the Eternal City and St. Peter's.
Breakfast is great and plentiful.

Location Nice but unfortunately the rooms are quite small. We were a small group and had several problems with a room (not redone) and not quickly resolved. Perhaps we stumbled upon a particularly crooked day, but the courtesy of not arguing between employees in front of a client who just wanted to go to the room could be made.

Stayed in a single room which was quite a good size. The bathroom was on the smaller side but still fine. Not sure if it's on a hospital route or something but I was woken each morning by ambulance sirens. The staff are friendly though and eager to help.

Lovely hotel overlooking the river Tiber. Staff were polite and helpful, and the breakfast buffet had a good selection. Room was very spacious too.

We booked through booking 2 double rooms but arrived at the reception they had only marked 1 room. At first they didn't want us to stay because the hotel was full then after several calls between reception and management we find a room on the ground floor very small and organized for a single stay. The hotel is very nice and also has a spa area within which we could not avail because for their inconvenience they did make it late and the area was about to close. In addition after their mistake and after giving us a room not up to what we had paid we were not offered even a coffee. Let's say they have a poor organization on which they can improve.

Good location, simple rooms (very hot even with heating off), clean. Continental breakfasts, restaurant in the basement, rather mediocre the kitchen. Staff mostly polite but sometimes little helpful.

Beautiful hotel in a very good area, very close to the Vatican and to Piazza del Popolo.
The rooms are well appointed but not very large. The bathrooms are modern and functional. The restaurant serves very good dishes. Breakfast is buffet with a lot of variety. The spa area has a sauna and a jacuzzi and is very comfortable. Absolutely to try.

We were in Rome in the middle of December. We chose the hotel from the Smartbox. The house is well maintained and within reasonable reach to public transport stops. Piazza del Popolo is within walking distance, as well as a metro station.
The rooms are clean and tastefully furnished. The size acceptable. The bathroom offers everything a hotel should offer this price range. The only negative thing that has been noticed is the police/health car sirens, which one has often heard during the night. But the hotel can do nothing for it and belongs to Rome. Those who are sensitive simply take Ohropax with them into their hand luggage.
The reception was very accommodating and helpful. When we arrived the room was not ready to be used to shorten the waiting time we offered a coffee.
The breakfast buffet was very plentiful and always well stocked. We also ate at the hotel once in the evening. The meal was fine but not a culinary highlight.
The shuttle service to the airport is recommended. We had a very pleasant ride there and the price of currently €55 is more than justified.

An interesting hotel on the banks of the Tiber. Comfortable and well appointed room. Poor mini-bar, the fridge generated more heat than cooling. Clean and functional bathroom with very basic toiletries. Nice little balcony to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the world go by. The self service breakfast was very tasty but a little shambolic. A limited but usable gym. Nearest Metro is Lepanto 800 meters away. I enjoyed my three nights.

Pro’s: Very clean, nice breakfasts, good service, nice bed, rooms also pretty nice. Full blackout curtains, which is awesome to have a long nap Con’s: It’s close to a high traffic road, and you can’t just open the window as it’s pretty loud. There were also come technical problems with the WC. Generally a very good hotel, if you’re there for the city! Also visit the amazing pasta place, cacio e pepe next to it :D.

Comfortable Hotel and not far from Piazza del Popolo and the Metro. Very quiet with very comfortable and spotless rooms. I was for a two day Congress and I can say that even the kitchen is at 4 star level.

One of the best hotels in Rome, in my opinion. A Stone's throw from Ponte Milvio, not far from the Olympic Stadium, it often hosts sports. Staff and management of the hotel always friendly and attentive. Breakfast was a little bit small.

I stayed at this hotel very pleasant, where the comfort and professionalism is at home. Very nice and comfortable rooms. I didn't have the pleasure of having lunch and dinner, however I got to enjoy the breakfast buffet, just fantastic.

After spending time looking for a "real" hotel that was not a converted apartment we settled on the Donna Laura. The pictures make the hotel seem old fashioned but the style fits well with the feel of Rome with marble designs. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable with a bath/shower combo and a bidet. The reception staff have been polite and helpful when we needed help setting the safe combo. Breakfast was a standard continental breakfast with cold meats, scrambled egg, toast pastries, fruit etc and enough to fill you up before you leave for the day. Location is a little further out but you are about 5-10min walk for closest metro station which makes it very easy to get to the termini station. (taxi cost around €12 from termini) Wi-Fi was OK for the most part but there was not enough bandwidth making it unusable at busy points. Someone was clearly torrenting at one point as speed dropped from 5mb/s down to 0.25mb/s which was disappointing and required us to use roaming data to get any use of Internet. Would recommend and book this hotel if revisiting.

Very close to the Vatican and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Good position, on the banks of the river and 20 minutes from the Vatican, rooms ALGP small but well maintained. The worst thing that doesn't have hangs towels in the sink.

Very comfortable room, good location by the river away from the city centre but easy to commute in for sightseeing. Good service and friendly staff.

Situated in the heart of Roma, it is a very nice hotel. Rooms are comfortable & service is excellent. The bathrooms are adequate. They are small and have older European style bidets. One suggestion is that if you are balance challenged, you'll find getting into the tub bit challenging because the tub walls are very high — this seems like a pan Italian problem — We stayed in Florence (Firenze) & Venice (Venezzia) with the same issue. Beds are comfortable. There is an espresso machine in every room. At least our room had a small fridge. Flat screen Samsungs are well blended in. There is a very nice breakfast buffet until 10:30 am. Well worth the 10 euros. I found the A/c very inadequate with outside temperatures around 40C. Room temperatures don't drop below 25 degrees C in the peak of very hot Roman summers. Very nice overall.

Overall a nice place. Worthy of the 4 stars in terms of service and staff but the hotel itself is decorated in ancient Rome style which is kitschy to me.

Spacious room, mini bar, tv, breakfast, coffee machine terrace air con hairdryer and a spa bath this is a junior suite this is for an extra 30 euros a night. Standard rooms have beds bathroom mini bar and TV air con hairdryer and breakfast or for an extra 15 euros a night a balcony.

Nice hotel with a Great staff, room was very clean, Wi-fi worked at all times, but… When I booked the hotel it gave me the option of a smoking room, which I didnt get when I checked in. Its ok though I smoked less so saved me some money. I still recommended it.

Decent location as it's away from the central hustle and bustle. Staff present but pretty indifferent, we were never offered a menu or invited to try dinner at the hotel so always ate out. Bar and restaurant closed when we arrived so no welcome drink as promised until e asked for it next day. This is not a four star hotel. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Couldn't turn the heating down so sweltered in the room. Safe didn't work. Some great bars and restaurants nearby though. Won't return.

The hotel is well positioned and the service of good quality; The restaurant is on the roof and offers a very nice view. The room we had was rather small but with a very good value for money.

This hotel is set on Lungotevere delle Armi in Rome. Is a high-rated hotel and in The interrated floor has a meeting room and a dinner room.

Nice hotel, good staff, breakfast is good and we ate well in the restaurant, the staff is very friendly. I recommend it because well located, we did everything by foot.

The hotel has great charm, clean and quiet.

The interior of a hotel was pleasant. It seems that breakfast is OK for the 3 star Italian hotels but not for the 4 star hotels. However, the main problem is that it is a very noisy hotel. Usually such a problem can be solved by means of the air conditioner but it was switched off in the first night and in the next three nights didn't work at all. Most likely from October 21 to October 25 in this hotel it is normally. As a result, it was very difficult to sleep with open windows because of huge traffic. Instead to help us the staff on a reception behaved formally and was not friendly.

Good personel home smile the day and night. Room very well insulated means nothing and own nothing to say. Well cake breakfast which changes daily and good quality 20/25 minute's walk from the historic Centre. You can go you n would be no surprise.

Arriving in Rome we headed to the Hotel, and I must say very nn was the best … in the room the TV facing the bed or cmq nn is easy to see but on the side of the bed at the top in a mobile … practically lying in bed nn you can see … do not even have sky … we will be back for sure!
