Clean, friendly, great location two blocks from subway.

Had a great 2 night stay here. Free parking (get there early), although there were roadworks right outside which made it a bit tight getting in. We had a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. It has a/c, big fridge, induction hob, and most things you would need. Despite the looks of the beds they were really comfy, we all had good sleep. The lift is very small but we were only on the first floor. The room did smell a bit weird, but you kind of only noticed it when you first open the door. It is in a great location and I would definitely stay there again.

I stayed at Residence Candia from January 3 to January 7 (4 nights), 2018. I booked a double room. But I was comfortable with the upgrade at the hotel. My son and I stayed comfortable at the Residence Candia Hotel. So the trip to Rome was even better. I would like to stay again next time I have a chance to go to Rome. Thank you in South Korea.

Price-quality ratio of 10. Very friendly receptionists who defended themselves well in Castilian (much better in English), well equipped room with a/A, heating, insulating windows, bathroom, full kitchen with microwave, oven, vitroceramic hob, fridge (small), plates, cutlery, glasses and Cooking appliances, etc. The towels are changed every 3 days and the sheets every 5, if I remember correctly. The rest of the building was seen with good maintenance. Close to Metro line A.

We stayed at the Residence Candia twice in October (we had a trip to London midway through our stay). The first room was large, which was really great. However, the cleanliness was lacking. If I walked barefoot on the floor, my feet were dirty even fresh out of the shower. When we came back from London, we were put in the tiniest room possible. We had to put our suitcases on the bed just to open them, and two people could not pass through the narrow strip of floor between the bed and wall. Additionally, there were crumbs at the foot of our bed (we didn't eat at all in the room). The shower was not clean at all and even had hair in the part where the door was. The toilet also had a faint urine smell. Additionally, they were kind enough to keep our large bag while we traveled in London. However, had I known it was going to be left out in the lobby the entire time, I would never have left it. In fact, we took the bag ourselves and no one even noticed. Most of the front desk staff were helpful, but one in particular was not. Our room had an ironing board but no iron. When we asked for an iron, we were told there was not an extra one and that we could try a laundry mat. The clerk also refused to look in empty rooms so we could briefly borrow the iron and return it within the hour. We traveled all of the way from Kansas, so you can imagine how wrinkled our clothes were. The Wi-Fi was horrible.

The residence is very nice although the rooms are small there is also the kitchenette, a few meters from St. Peter's Square is located in a quiet place and isolated from the confusion.

Location near S. Pietro and bus and tram stops. Cozy rooms with bathroom and kitchen, friendly and professional multilingual staff.

We stayed in a large apartment with 10 beds, 2 kitchens, and 2 bathrooms. The decor was very nice and was roomier than expected, but the lobby is average and I couldn't get hot water in the shower.

Nice place with a helpful staff. Breakfast has plenty of options. It's very close it Cipro metro station and there are various nearby options for meals nearby.

Overall I'd give it worse then a 1/5 star. The room is horrible. The bed is stiff, the full bed is just two twins pushed together. The cleaning is loud in the mornings. The appliances are loud throughout the night. The toaster does not work. The Wi-Fi shuts off at peak hours and is slow all around. The shower has two temperatures of burning or freezing. The AC doesn't work. The 4.5 stars is a joke.

Staying at Residence Candia as an abroad student for 5 months. The stay has gone very well other than a handful of small issues, like the shower flooding, and the dryers not fully drying my clothes. Pros — The staff is very nice, almost everyone speaks English as well as Italian, new climate control units, the receptionist can break money, and rooms service does a great job of keeping every room clean. Cons — Shower floods, the residence has a lot of stairs and no elevators, small rooms, and small issues that come with an old building and old furniture. — Also every room is different here, no 2 rooms are the small size, shape or even provide the same furniture. Be sure to ask what you are getting before booking.

The six-seater apartment has all the essentials (kitchen and equipment, iron, hairdryer and television).

Strategic place for downtown, well served in the vicinity by Metro and bus. There are also shops in the surroundings of first necessity. The low cost and cleanliness of the room make it the ideal choice for a holiday in Rome without worries.

A beautiful place to place to be. The rooms are just like a home. All you need in one room. I enjoyed every bit of it.

Room was comfortable and well maintained. Although there is an elevator, it is slow and hardly fits more than one. After a long day on the town four flights of stairs are hardly welcome. The breakfast was spectacular and worth the stay in itself.

Very small, but you have to remember it is not American. Very friendly staff and great location. The complementary maps are good, too.

No incluye desayuno. Pearl notes there much ADO, no people has no respect for the other. Someone to use the ladder, facciono much noise each night. There aren't curtains in the window and not leave it rest.

Very clean rooms, excellent service & the breakfast which was included in our price was buffet style. Scrambled eggs, diced ham, assorted ham, cheeses & pastries. Location is about a mile to Saint Mark's Square/Vatican. Most of the other sites are further away. Several places to eat & small shops nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

This place is very well placed for all the girls you want in Rome (close to metro). The receptionists are adorable and are doing everything to make us the best possible stay. The only problem for us has been a defective heating that made the room was a sauna, but it ended up going in order!

Friendly service, very good English, great rooms!
We stayed here near the beginning of June and our room consisted of a kitchenette (with so many dishes! ), a complete bathroom, a separate bedroom, two cots, a kitchen table and chairs, and a terrace (bear in mind there are many types of rooms here). We were at our wits' end after leaving DaVinci airport (a nightmare) but were relieved to see the place were staying in; it definitely eased our minds. The air conditioner was a relief after walking around in the heat all day and having a terrace was great for sitting outside with privacy. I would rate Residence Candia 4.5/5 stars if I could and I would have given it 5/5 if the breakfast were free, seeing as, from what I understood, it was just a simple continental breakfast, but for €8. I would definitely stay here again if ever I return to Rome.

When I arrive to the place, I fell in love with the situation in the map, the decoration and his wonderfull breakfast!, I'd love to go every year.

This charming residence located a stone's throw from the Vatican museums, offers its guests a quiet stay. We found the rooms, although very small (mini mono), new, very neat and clean. Particularly suitable for tourism because of its proximity to the Vatican and for the very well connected by public transport. Strengths: free parking, cleanliness and condition of rooms, location and friendliness at reception.

The Candia is just the perfect Hotel. Location and rooms are perfect. Cheap and perfectly clean. I will always stay here. No need to find another hotel in Rome.
