This hotel is beautiful. The concierge is knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive. The building and grounds are comfortable and safe. The room is cool and comfortable. Enjoy the large windows and shutters when cool, and AC when it was hot out. Our housekeeper was the best I have had in many years of travel. (they even move furniture to clean). The American breakfast at hotel is great. If you want you to be near enough to Vatican for convenience, but away from the crowds, this is the place. You can see St Peter's from the rooftop terrace. Try Santo Stefano bistro for a meal.

A nice little hotel but a little off the beaten track. Clean and good breakfast. Friendly staff.

Although we did not actually stay there, and were staying elsewhere nearby, we did drop by to ask some questions for help and even had them call a taxi for us very early in the morning for the Rome airport and they were very very kind and gracious (Andrew) even at 4 am. The facilities looked very nice. If the service is anything like the kindness they showed to me and my family, I would highly recommend this hotel especially given their attention to service (Andrew). Thanks so much Andrew!

We quite enjoyed our stay at Hotel Alessandrino. We arrived very late to check in and the walk into the courtyard of the hotel was enchanting. Such a pretty entryway… Our room was not large but a very comfortable size for two of us. The bathroom was smaller like most Italian hotels but again quite adequate. Everything was spotlessly clean. — Nothing looked brand new but neither did it look old or worn. Very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Lots of variety and coffee made to your request. We had cappuchinos every morning because we were in Italy! Staff were helpful and friendly. The location was good for us. We wanted to do a lot of walking and yet it was nice to have public transport so accessible when we needed it. The price was good. This place is a gem.

Very clean staff very helpful when you pay your city tax you must pay in euro on departure the easy jet site it says UK pounds don't get caught out, going to check out the roof garden in a bit.

Excellent place to stay! Helpful, friendly people. VERY clean rooms and housekeeping was great! Breakfast was delicious each day! You gotta go to the 5th floor. Just go… you won't be disappointed! Its a 5 minute walk to cafe's and 7 minutes to hit the Vatican Square! Rooms were a bit small, only plan on booking for 2. Still awesome though! Great experience.

Spent 4 nights here from the 23rd November. The hotel was warm when needed the staff were extremely helpful and spoke better English then myself. Roof terrace was amazing and perfect place to spend the evenings with a bottle of wine after a busy day with some of the best views across rome. We will return :)

Im not even sure what to say about this hotel. I mean, I understand you get what ypu pay for but two nights running a man with a key tried to get into our room and reception couldnt care less. They dismissed us as if we were over reacting. The water from the shower had to be ran until it stopped running brown. The decor was so old ot felt unhygenic, the breakfast was bland and in some parts stale. The loft had is fearing for a life when it began shaking and dropping. Hotel wouldnt provide a second key even tho a twin room booked with two separate guests. It is up a VERY steep winding hill that is hard to get up even when fit and out of the question for those with disabilitys (not just for steepness but the cars along the side and the sheer amount of cracks and holes make it in accessible. The two stars I have given where purely for the housekeeping staff who kept everything neat, immaculate surfaces and very kindly and unexpectedly left my pj's folded on the bed for me.

I’ve stayed here, and would recommend this hotel to anyone! The rooms are clean and neat, good breakfast. But most important:The staff is very friendly and helpful and the hotel is not too far from Rome city center. About a 20 minute walk.

Good location, clean, perfect for those sightseeing adventures around Rome. Amazing roof terrace with gorgeous views over a vibrant city, perfect for sitting with wine and food (which the hotel allows you to bring in). Good selection of breakfast on offer and the staff were so helpful. Would recommend this to anyone.

Reasonable hotel with a decent roof teras. Not too fancy but gets the job done. Within a few minutes walk to the Vatican City. Don't expect too much of the airco in the rooms, it works but could be better.

Quiet but located in an area not very accessible narrow road but mostly no parking!

This hotel has bed bugs. It is a great price and most things about the hotel were average. I would have been happy with the experience if it were not for all three of the rooms that we booked having bed bugs in them. I had welts on my legs. Having worked on cruise ships for years I have attended trainings on how to find and treat bed bugs, these bed bugs were extremely easy to identify. I understand that bed bugs happen but the hotel staff — even after recognizing the presence of the bed bugs — refused to help us in any way. My suggestion was that we paid for the nights that we had already stayed in the hotel and then that they would refund us for the nights that we would not be using — because of the bed bugs. They would not agree to this. I would avoid this hotel.

Because we were made to park our car in the vicinity of the hotel recommended by the reception… The surprise after one month the fine… but the surprise that no notification had ever been made or delivered… As always Rome… The… Naples. …

The hotel is located in a very quiet, residential area, close to Vatican. The reception staff is very polite and speaks good English. Housekeeping is excellent and the place is generally very clean. Good value for the price. It is located on a hilltop, so be prepared for climbing. The place is locked at night.

This hotel is not a 3 star hotel I would say is barely 2 stars. We asked for a king size bed and we got two double beds, there was a bad smell coming from the toilet and the location is terrible because you have to go up a hill. The worst part of this trip to rome was not only that people were rude to us but also out flight was cancelled and when we went to the reception to ask for help we were told we could call our airline for free and it was not true. After speaking with the receptionist he did not want to be responsible for his mistake and tried to blame us and made us feel bad for not wanting to pay for something we were told was free. I think this was one of the worst things that ever happened to me. I do not recommend this hotel especially when the staff is not responsible for their mistakes and makes customers feel like crap.

Loved the location and roof top area to sit with your own wine and food! Small rooms but that is normal. Breakfast was okay, took a little while to get things refilled but enough to give us a good start. Would come back!

This hotel is wonderful. The location is amazing. It's right next to a subway station and walking distance to most attractions. There are also plenty of shops and restaurants in the area. The rooms are clean and the staff is so pleasant and helpful. Our first day in the city the concierge gave us a map and made some wonderful recommendations for shopping and sightseeing. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. I can't wait until I have an opportunity to return.

Hotel Nice not far from everything for walkers, reads are big, comfortable, nice breakfast, despite the lack of cchocolat, for want who don't drink coffee, but hey.

We have just stayed there for four nights the room was very big with a large terrace room very clean bathroom very good but shower slightly on the small size but overall very good. Breakfast was basic continental rolls fruit cereal and egg and bacon fruit juices tea and coffee. Staff were very helpful and spoke very good english. The hotel is a 15 minute walk down hill to the vatican overall I would recommend this hotel.
