Impeccable service and accommodations very hard to top anywhere in the world. Just a magnificent property and great location.

Garden bar was gorgeous. Service was nice but, uber slow. Maybe I am just a hurried Amercian? In a place that charges 25 to 30 dollars for a cocktail I expect good service. It was not busy and we waited at least 15 min to be greeted and much longer to get our drinks. The drinks were so good that I would actually go again despite all that I wrote above. I did not eat there. So maybe that would have increased the stars. The ambiance was serene.

My friends and I did not actually stay here. We were hanging out near the Spanish steps late at night and we didn't know the taxi phone number. We asked the door man at this hotel if he could call us a taxi, which he kindly did. We were able to make it home safely. Thank you very much Hassler for having kind employees and gracious customer service!

Super elegant hotel at the top of the Spanish steps. There's a lift from the bottom of the steps to make life easy. Great views form the apartments.

You would be hard pressed to fault this hotel. The staff can't do enough for you, from the concierge to the maids to the bar staff. Cristiano was especially helpful on the amazing terrace on the 7th floor. The location itself is enough to stay at the hotel. Fantastic!

Incredible outdoor patio spot perfect for a quiet lunch. We had the place completely to ourselves. Service was top notch as were the food and beverages. One of our best dining experiences while in Rome. A hidden gem in the middle of a big tourist location.

The restaurant had an interesting presentation and service for each dish, however for the price, the taste was much less than I expected. There are far better Michelin restaurants in Italy for a lower price.

The location is amazing because it is right at the top of the Spanish Steps and very close to some great shopping areas. Lots of great restaurants are nearby. The service was amazing. The entire staff was so so friendly. They must have cleaned our room 2-3 times EACH day. My biggest complaint was that they kept replacing barely used soap with brand new soap. Best service we have ever had at any five star hotel. The rooms are big for European standards. There is a roof top you can sit at nights and order wine to drink, while you enjoy watching Rome from far above. My wife and I stay at only five star hotels around the world and USA. This hotel is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at and it will be the only hotel we will ever stay at in Rome.

Amazing Hotel! Was with my husband in January for a 10-anniversary wedding. There were only the warmest memories of the hotel and of Rome!

This had to be the best place I have stayed in my travels in Italy. If you want any experience going to the roof for dinner. The views are breathtaking and the food made me cry as it was so good. The price is well worth it as you are in the middle of everything and you can walk around and have a blast!

Maybe a 5-star hotel on appearance, however customer service ranks a zero. Calling from the states for assistance in obtaining a duplicate receipt proved to be pointless. I was transferred to departments within the hotel, transferred outside of the hotel twice, was laughed at when asked to speak with the hotel manager and ultimately disconnected.

We spent three nights in this luxurious hotel. Staff was very satisfactory, they would walk up and down in order to meet your every requirement. Room very comfortable, restaurant special block is ideal, can see the spectacular scenery from the balcony. I can't wait to go again.

Excellent location and nicely refurbished rooms. Service a bit slow at front desk and concierge. Room in courtyard not as quiet as one would expect due to nearby school.

We just checked in and booked through American Express Centurian. We had asked for a Deluxe Room that was filled with light and air on the theory that were we lucky, as Centurian Members, we would be upgraded to a suite. It didn't happen. We are in 401 which, as it happens, does not have lots of light and air but is beautiful and looks over the tile roof next door. In this case "charming" really is charming. So, we are delighted with where we are and we are delighted with the beauty of the room. The hotel is very expensive. So far, the staff is really nice and everything meets or exceeds expectations. We've not be in Rome for 10 years and have never stayed here before. We learned that there is an elevator next to the Spanish Steps and it runs until 10pm. This is a big deal. We also learned that although breakfast comes with our room, it's a buffet breakfast in the dining room. Those of us who prefer to have breakfast in nightclothes in the room have to negotiate with the front desk. At first, they would like to charge for room service breakfast. After a minute of eye rolling, they suggest a small service charge of $10/day USD. Given the price of the room, this is absurd and borders on insulting.

I proposed to my wife here, then came back and got married here. I'm quite certain that the hotel staff are spirits that haunt the Hassler, hotel california-style. They are perfect characters to operate a perfect establishment. I've never been so fond of a hotel as I am of the Hotel Hassler.
