A good hotel for its price range. There is a TV, the internet, a bar nearby to eat. The hotel has delicious food, meat, bacon, sausages, bread, lots of sweets, cookies and every day a delicious cupcake. There's a map of the city at the reception. It's bad that there are no weights to weigh luggage before departure, but it's already a quibble of a seasoned tourist.

Let's just say three nights of norms, but no more. Breakfasts though the same, but the extensive Shvets table will not leave hungry. Dirty towel, thrown on the floor, first folded back, and changed only for the next day. The bed is filled, the floor is cleaned. Lift for 2 people, rare and slow — walking easier and faster. The location is convenient, close to the metro. There's no laundry now. Photo of the elevator (only for 2 people) and a view from one of the rooms on the 3rd floor.

Loved the hotel, cleaning the room daily, tipping did not leave, lived 3 days, the bed during this time did not change, but the bed was always tucked. Great breakfasts, ham, sausage, bread, buns, mini pie, vegetables. For dessert — croissants, toast, oatmeal, yogurt, cookies, various biscuits and doughnuts, a variety of jams, juice and coffee for all tastes. Breakfast in the style of a buffet. The hotel is designed simply and tastefully. The rooms are comfortable with air conditioning. Leaving the hotel on the left, a great cafe in which you can dine for 7 euros (lasagna glass of wine), the portion is designed for a man (I as a girl 47 kg, ate half, on diets do not sit). It's delicious!
I recommend the hotel and cafes!

Pros: — large, clean rooms; our bathroom had a tub — central location; close to Termini and Castro Pretorio metro stations — free and stable Wi-Fi (we stayed on the 2nd floor) — good and varied breakfast — very nice reception personnel Cons: — soundproofing must not be very good as the traffic and people talking on the street is bothering by night — Wi-Fi is slow — somewhat cranky staff in the cafeteria.

Awful hotel I've ever been in my life. Fire alarm has been activating from 1:40 am and concierge told it's nothing with a bit of condescending tone. I don't know if there is fire or not and whether hotel staffs care about it or not. If there is a real fire then it would be my last words.

Room was comfortable and spacious. Wi-Fi reception was available in only certain areas of room. Breakfast was okay. Staff was good. Location of hotel very good and central.

Hotel San Marco was clean and located conveniently to the Termini station as well as numerous sites and restaurants. The staff was amiable. However, you have to ask for a new Wi-Fi password every day to connect to the Wi-Fi that may or may not work depending on how many people are using it and the floor on which you are staying. On the uppermost floor while many high schools were staying there, we had virtually no connection.

Hotel is near Termini (train station) in a small side alley. Room little Daylight. Suitable for short breaks.

If you want to stay at a reasonable price, here is a nice hotel. A defective bed was replaced immediately. Wen air conditioners did not interfere with a room to the courtyard made a good choice. The breakfast buffet is extensive. We were satisfied.

The hotel is OK. Room was small but clean.
The breakfast leaves something to be desired. Selection is limited. Clean and tidy looks different. It would be very easy to wipe the tables and cover them again and clear away the empty bowls at the buffet.

Cheaters. Tats only word for them never book the hotel online u ll get to stay at other place at the nxt street. Beware we had the worst experience.

Friendly staff, good breakfast, beautiful old building, close to Terminale and Metro. Don't expect a fancy new impersonal hotel, good value for money. Definitely I would return here.

The Hotel San Marco is very close to Termini station (10 min) and also the Metro (2 min, in 3 stations to the Colosseum! ) is easily accessible. Surrounding also find countless restaurants and a supermarket.
The hotel itself is not exactly modern, but still has its charm. The rooms are large enough, clean, with flat-screen TV (incl. Sky) and refrigerator. The hotel has a small lift. The breakfast is absolutely OK for a 3 star hotel. Also the staff was very friendly and the front desk was always competent.
We felt very comfortable and would be happy to recommend the hotel.

The hotel changes dramatically depending on the room that "touches you". On the 2nd floor I was able to enjoy a very spacious room with practically new furniture and a terrace. However on the 6th floor I had to suffer a tiny room with bad smells in the bathroom.

The two stars are only pure for the room and for the breakfast as well as the staff there are no stars… The breakfast is totally… it would be advisable to go to MC. Donalds at Termini Station.

The Hotel San Marco in Rome is a 3 star hotel but for sleeping and breakfast is quite sufficient. Fast connection by bus and subway, even on foot you can reach and experience a lot. The hotel is very tidy and clean, the staff very friendly and helpful. Conclusion: I can only recommend this hotel. Ps. : Breakfast is plentiful and tastes good.

Not impressed so much. Breakfast was good, but very little fresh fruit put out. Beds were ok, pillows thin, air conditioning not so good. My biggest downfall for this hotel, bad drains in showers.

Guests of the B&B run by the hotel San Marco, class Buina near the Termini station and the Metro Castro Pretorio located on the 5th floor of a building. I found the room clean. The clean bathroom lacked a shelf to put the ball of the shampoo.
The breakfast is good and is served in the Hotel San Marco which is one block from the Relais. The staff is friendly and attentive to the customer.

The rooms here were very nice and the staff was top notch. They were friendly, very responsive to our needs and gave excellent suggestions on local food and drinks. They also provided us with discount cards for several restaurants close to the hotel. The rooms were very nice with tile floors. The room we stayed in had a balcony which was a very nice touch. The rooms were also larger than most rooms that I have had in Europe before. The bar was on the small side, but that is ok as there was a great local place on the next block. The breakfast bar was a typical European breakfast bar with cold cuts of various meats and cheese, sausage and bacon, and eggs. There were several pastry and bread options available as well as fresh fruit and yogurt. The coffee machines were very nice as you could get espresso, cappuccino, or American coffee. The only detraction from the entire experience was they had to put us in a different room the first night. They were very diligent in making sure that the problem was corrected. Our luggage and even left over food from our refrigerator was moved to our new room while we were out on tour. They even gave us a complimentary bottle of wine for the trouble. If I am back in Rome I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

The truth, I have not slept in the but to me and my family we were treated wonderfully. We arrived in Rome and we find that the hotel where we had booked (this was not) had resold our rooms and we cast out saying that we would immediately find rooms… Lie! a May 1, bridge, they were all full hotels and internet we found this and that they had 4 double rooms, on arrival we were told that there had been a mistake, that the web bot had sold but they had no rooms empty: (as in 20' they found hotel 5 minutes at the same price and same category, we called a taxi and they paid for it, others, gave us a bottle of wine for the disculparamos for the inconvenience. Inconvenience? What discomfort? Yes thanks to the Manager we will not sleep in Termini station. My family and I have decided that whenever we return to Rome we will stay here.

Very good choice close to termini, almost next to a metro station. The room is normal with shower in the bathroom. Very good receptionist and Spanish-speaking. Very full and abundant breakfast. The offer of restaurants around is very broad. Free Wi-Fi with good coverage in the room.

When we arrived at the hotel it turned out we close put in a dependency from another block to the hotel. The person who brought us speak no English to our room with hand and foot work made it clear, we use three different keys that lead to all the doors to our room (door on the street, door on the fifth floor you reach the Hall owned by the hotel, the door to our room enter) open mental note: when using the small elevator don't forget, close the doors behind you or you break it. It felt rented an apartment without view instead of a hotel room like we. You don't really want something, if you get tired of the travel. For breakfast we had in the hotel above. The room was small, but clean and everything was fine. I didn't like it, that maid went to sort out our clothes, shoes and personal items. I agree there left we a bit messy on the first day, but I think it was overdone. The advantages: It's Rome! — Schöne breakfast clean room close to Metro.

Were available in early March 2009. Hotel really close to the Termini and from the Termini station and to the centre to walk, and on the subway, where you drive. I liked the spacious rooms, cleaning every day. Food was good, not enough fruit and vegetables, but we are always very well наедались. At the reception gave the hotel's umbrellas when it was raining — free. There was one unpleasant moment: one day in the hotel have cut off hot water was told that would be the next day. However, neither in the morning or in the evening of the next day it was not. You know, for tourists, who are on your feet all day no hot water is very bad, well, one day okay, but two (and we came just seven) is already much. Then I went to the reception Desk. There was already a couple of Englishmen, who immediately agreed to resettle in the neighbouring hotel. Had to go to the raised voices and demand to return the money, because I ordered a hotel with hot water, but not with cold. After words about the money they agreed to move us with a condition of return when water appears. The next day, the water appeared and we again moved to San Marco, although in a nearby hotel, we were offered to stay. Now this trouble came.
