The hotel is fine, if you're looking for a place with a central location in Rome. Really close to Termini Station and easy to access the city centre even on foot. The rooms are small, beds are comfortable. Mostly clean, although bathrooms need renovation and were not sparkling clean. Breakfast was nothing special, not worth it. Wi-Fi not working at all. Staff was polite. Walls are thin and it's hard to sleep sometimes, when other guests are too loud or are slamming doors. Overall, except for its location, the hotel doesn't have a lot to offer.

Very bad on all fronts: breakfast service not provided, insufficient and clumsy reception, summary cleaning.
Don't go!

No air conditioning when on the web you sell that if the TV is prehistory has no USB input, the room has nothing to do with the photo, is ancient and small, breakfast are 2 croissant a juice and a cake nothing variety, the only good location and an acceptable staff if I had to repeat would not return. Hdp.

Pretty weird experience. Sometimes the bathroom wouldn't work. Pretty cramped.

Hotel recommended by tourist office at Termini. Experience was tainted by very rude manager who has no business working in the hospitality industry. She made us wait hours for a room that smelled moldy as if it had been shut for weeks. Bathroom shower was disgusting. Other overpriced but better rooms were available but we stuck with "old moldy" so we could get out of contract with tourist office after one day. Next morning the room had a chance to air out. Wonderful smell of pastries being created below did not compensate for numerous drawbacks.

Very friendly staff. The area where the hotel is located is not very nice to say but it is very handy if you are going to move by train in Rome because it is very close to Termini. The Wi-Fi did not reach our room which was a few meters from the reception but if you approached the room you could connect without problems.

One word: bad. To avoid absolutely.

Worst place, my personal opinion. Rooms are smelly, air conditioner not working, noisy traffic, rotten food in the breakfast, Internet not working, room cleaning below standard.

Because of wash rooms are in poor conditions I dont like it, location n breakfast are at acceptable level.

Wouldn't stay here again. Noisy traffic kept me awake of night as well as it being to hot during the night. Extremely uncomfortable beds. Poor quality shower. And the bathroom smelt after using the shower and toilet It was fairly clean though.

Me & my Wife were lodged for two nights in this hotel — from 13th July '16 a/noon to 15th July '16 morning. We found the room small & too compact for our liking. The lady at the reception of the Hotel who met us on 13.07.16 was not at all accommodating as though rooms were vacant, she did not accede to our plea to allot room earlier than the check-in time (we had reached at 10.20 am) even though I told her that my wife has fever and we both are exhausted after a 15 hour tiring journey, from across half of Globe and almost in a state of slumber. She also spoke in harsh tone and made to wait us for more than three & a half hours in the tiny lounge — where again she restricted us not to spread our legs but simply sit. How the hotel has managed a star rating is difficult to fathom. Humane considerations & pleasantness while hosting should also be factors in any place of stay but these were missing in the Hotel and though it was on IInd floor, yet no lift was provided & as no porter also was available, so you had to trudge with your luggage through the spiralling stairs. Free Wi-Fi too was restricted to the small lounge only.

The first night we stayed in this hotel my wife was bitten by bedbugs over 20 times on her neck, chest, arms and shoulders. It completely ruined our trip in Rome and she has been driven crazy by itchiness. Two male staff helped us by changing the bedding and mattress, and finally the room but that doesn't really help her sleep properly or enjoy the trip. I understand these things might be beyond a hotels ability to control but I was infuriated when we finally got to see a manager and she denied all responsibility and suggest my wife was allergic to something she ate. We spoke to two pharmacists and both confirmed it was bed bugs. The manager also threatened "legal action" for writing untruths on the net, so it's lucky that everything I'm writing is true. Basically this hotel is one to skip.

Rooms are very different than website. Was a complete nightmare.

Very good service, expecially from the afternoon receptionist:always available for info and good tips on local places. Nyce room located on 2nd floor, bathroom with shower well appointed. Breakfast is buffet and I liked so much yogurth variety. Good experience.

The Hotel Gabriella is an inexpensive hotel very close to Termini Station, therefore fairly well placed for sightseeing by foot, and perfectly situated for transport connections to all over the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and tidy. The neighbourhood is exactly what you would expect close to any major station in Europe; not beautiful or quiet, but packed full of bars, restaurants and shops. For this reason, it is probably not worth paying for the breakfast option at the hotel. My wife and I have stayed in this hotel twice and would do so again.

I stayed 3 nights on December 2007, and I like it. It is small and cute and very close to railway station. Also, you have a change walk around the city.
