Ciak Hostel Hostel

It's on the third floor, rooms aren't kept lock, people stole money from one of my new friends, cleaning lady is excellent but it was a lot of work for just one person. The bathrooms smelled like old dirty water. Stayed in August and the a. C was not kept on, we had to ask the front to turn it on several times, they were nice but not a 5 star hostel, 2 stars is due to the great people that work in the place. Oh and one room showed 3 beds but they turned it into 2 pairs of bunker beds and 2 separate beds so we felt a little overcrowded. Area was okay, safe but make sure to not walk alone at night. There are professional pickpocketers all over Rome, make sure to keep your belongings in front of you.

So, the worst hostel ever. No toilet paper at bathroom. It wasn't cleaned for 3 days. No Wi-Fi at rooms. Air conditioner was directed at my bed so you can't really sleep without a possibility to get sick. The personal are really unfriendly, like "go out here you made a lot of problems" So guys, do not stay here! As I said about all of the problems they just told me "go out here you made a lot of problems and Yor are not allowed to leave your Baggage here, but before it was allowed and it is allowed for all who "makes no problems"

Owner was nice, rooms were clean and the AC and Wi-Fi worked well. It wasn't very social though. Location is solid, 10-15 min walk to Coliseum and right by grocery store and Termini/Tram lines for getting anywhere in the city.

Perfect for a short stay. The bathrooms were not the cleanest and the breakfast contains a lot (! ) of sugar, but there is a nice kitchen to cook.

Nice hostel! 24 hour reception was very helpful since I got in at 1 am. Only one bathroom per room though which was a little tricky. Metro station 2 minutes walk away. Overall good value for the price.

OK for short term stay — staff really nice, was good value for money but not the cleanest. Showers were not particularly nice.

Good location, 20minutes from Termini Station and 15 minutes from the Colosseum. Comfortable beds in rooms of up to 6 people. The bathroom could be cleaner. With regard to breakfast there is only sweet, the coffee is not to try it. The Wi-Fi goes perfectly and leaves computers at your disposal. Inside the hostel is pretty good.

Very good option for short term stay, I stayed at 4 sharing room it was convenient and spacious with very big window showing other side of road. Breakfast is included have it by yourself clean your dishes feel like home. Sorry, I could not take more pictures of room because I leave it early morning next day.

Excellent breakfast spread, located near metro and tram stops. Lockers. Walkable from Termini. Decent distance from the Colosseum. Nice space for eating and cooking. Like another commenter, this is a quiet place for sleeping, not for socialising. Knowledgeable staff. Do not be fooled by signs posted around the kitchen promising pasta parties on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. No such parties were thrown : (
