Rio Venice Hotel

Hotel staff was great! Kind and courteous. They let us check in an hour early without blinking an eye and we appreciated it so much. Room was clean and simple. Bathroom is tiny but serves its purpose for a vacation. We had the corner room on the first floor above the restaurant facing the courtyard and it was surprisingly quiet. I figured with the busy plaza and all the people at night it would be loud but it was perfect. Great location and close to everything including multiple restaurants and the water.

Rather rustic looking place, set in one of the back lanes of beautiful Venice. I rather miss it now, a month after. We did not really eat at the hotel. But there are plenty of spots to eat at just a few metres down from the Hotel.

Not too hard to find for Venice, close to boat, on lively small plaza with restaurants and Espressobar for small breakfast. Staff friendly and efficient. Rooms small (for American standards), newly refurbished and clean. Great location. Some noise from outside but especially from guests arriving late at night and thinking they are the only ones on this planet… not the hotels fault! Great little place with character.

The service staff is very good, the evening does not have the hot water to bathe let me a little dumbfounded, in the square, goes to where to stroll is convenient. Price of loved ones.

Decent hotel. Pretty big space for 4 people when compared to other places. The restaurant right next door was amazing.

Great value hotel with fast wife and excellent location. Rooms small but clean and equipped. Perfect for city break if you plan on spending most of your time away from the hotel room.

I gave a star because from the outside I liked but I have never been inside and I can not judge.

When checking into the hotel our air con wouldn't work, were told it was because of the weather they changed something over but two of the 3 rooms the air con was fine. 1 of the other rooms had a water leak however that was fixed the following day after we advised the girl on duty who was more helpful.

Small, but clean and comfortable and we'll presented. Staff are extremely friendly and always around to help. Location is perfect for exploring from the centre of Venice outwards and right on top of San Marco. Recommended.

Very nice and central Hotel in Venice! Haven't seen such a nice 2 star Hotel in a long time. The rooms are big and modern, the service is very polite and fast. The walls are a little bit thin, but it's not much of a problem. I can recommend it to any one who wants a cheap and central hotel in Venice.

Convenient location, great spacious rooms and very clean. Extremely helpful staff. During our first night, the boiler turned itself off and because reception was 24/7 we got help quickly! The hotel is behind the restaurant which makes for smells and sounds occasionally but not overwhelming to have a large effect. Also got a free cake for Christmas and 12% off some food places!
