Hotel dalla Mora Hotel

Our stay at Hotel Dalla Mora was great! The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We had a terrific few of the canal and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast in the morning, which included granola, bread, cereal, hardboilded eggs and cheese as well as tea and coffee. The terrace was nice for relaxing in the afternoon with a bottle of wine and a book. The location is perfect. It's centrally located between the train station and San Marco. At night it was quiet; we did not hear any noise from the street. I highly recommend if you are looking for an affordable, simple hotel in a good location!

Small frequent otelchik on the bank of the canal. Inside is clean, tidy, pleasant friendly service. Shared on the floor (3-4 rooms) shower-toilet. There is a sink in the room.

It's a 1-star hotel, which you are probably looking at, like we did, because everything in Venice is prohibitively expensive. Well if that's the case then just book here. It is better than some 3-star hotels. The man that met us on arrival was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is included and better than quite a few hotel complimentary breakfasts and the hotel is perched right on the side of the canals with lovely views out the window. Yep, it has a shared toilet, there's a fan and not air-con in the rooms and the walls could definitely be thicker but adjust your expectations accordingly for a 1-star hotel and it is absolutely brilliant and great value for a Venice hotel. (As an aside, and I'd never deduct a mark if they didn't, but the staff spoke impeccable English. )

My experience at Hotel Falls Mora was generally good. Check in and check out was speedy, the host was very accommodating, and breakfast was tasty. The hotel however, was a bit worn out and the room was hot and stuffy. The one fan in the room did not provide sufficient cooling. It is what you'd expect from a 1-star hotel.

Very convenient location, friendly and professional staff, and nice breakfast included. We didn't expect much from the breakfast but was pleasantly surprised with warm and fresh croissant with jam, hot chocolate, orange juice, etc. Pleasant experience from check-in to check-out.

Shared bathroom but other guests were tidy so we got lucky. Thin walls so you have to be careful about your noise levels. Great location near restaurants. Beautiful view from our window overlooking the water. Breakfast very average but did the job. Very well priced with friendly staff, will definitely consider booking here again.

Good value for money. Walking distance to many places. Beware though that there are only shared bathrooms available, you only have a sink in your room. Would be fine if we didn't have someone on our floor that would make the bathroom and the hallway a toxic zone after he was done. Aside from that smelly fact it was a great place to stay. Staff is so friendly, and helpful.

Just A few minutes from Santa Lucia railway station, the hotel overlooks a small canal. Our room was clean and comfortable with shower and sink inside. The sink was small and low, but the shower in the compensation was large and spacious. The shared bathroom was also clean if a little small. The only drawback was The noise, both from other rooms and from outside!

Excellent value for money and great location (only 1 bridge from station). Great helpful staff and good clean and very spacious rooms! They don't have an elevator, but the owner offered to help us with our luggage, which was very thoughtful.

Simple hotel, but very nice staff and a good location for exploring Venice. It is close to piazzale roma as well as the vapporetto stop San tomas. Good restaurants around, cheaper than in San Marco. Old rooms and paper thin walls can make it noisy depending on the other guests.

Excellent little hotel tucked away in a small street next to the canal. They have free Wi-Fi (very important for an Internet junkie like me :) The rooms are small but very clean. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms come with breakfast but it's nothing to brag about. Just some bread rolls and jam and butter. The coffee sucks tho. This is after all Italy. It should be way better. Not to worry, there's a cafe just 10 meters away. They've got good espresso :-) You won't regret staying here. Recommend.

Clean rooms, great canal view, friendly staff and a great value. Another good thing is that the hotel is quite away from the tourist parts of the town, so its silent and you have some great restaurants and places nearby.
