Fabulous location, we loved our stay here while in Venice.

Nothing matters more for the enjoyment of your hotel stay then being in the absolute middle of everything. The Marconi is that hotel. It’s a bucket list tick. A surprise find. One day they are going to turn it into a boojee B&B and you will not have stayed here when it was an honest hotel. Ask for Room 101. Tell them I sent you.

Old world charm. Frederico was great with tips for us. Such a sweetheart. Right off the Rialto bridge, convinent.

Perfect location on the grand canal and next to Rialto bridge, surrounded by everything you may want, nice staff, wasn’t expecting breakfast to be that good but it was. Pleasant experience.

Small but well-maintained hotel with a great location next to the Rialto Bridge. Breakfast included was varied and abounded and on request they gave me biscuits, plumcake and gluten-free biscuits.

I can't imagine a better place to stay in Venice, especially on the budget I had. The staff was very professional and knowledgeable, offering perfect restaurant and transportation recommendations when asked. My room did not have a view of the water, but it was spacious and immaculately clean. The centralized location lends an easy walk to any part of Venice. No elevator that I found, but the staff took care of my bags.

Great location near the Rialto Bridge. Good air conditioning. If handicapped, ask for a first floor room as the staircases are narrow and there is no lift.

I highly recommend hotel Marconi. It is a few steps from the Rialto bridge and an easy water taxi ride from the train station. The hotel is in an older building with plenty of charm. The only downside is the walls can be a bit thin. You don't hear most guests but you'll hear more than a modern hotel.

Small hotel in a great location for a hit and run tour in the city center! Once you reach the hotel with the Vaporetto (Rialto stop right in front! ) You can go quietly on foot through the streets of downtown until San Marco or to visit the main attractions of the city! Small room The staff was very helpful.

Everythins is perfect except breakfast.

The location was excellent. The room was a bit fair, no room to open the suitcase. Room A little hidden, we had to go through the dining room to get to it. The breakfast buffet was very good.

Great breakfast, the scrambled eggs is heavenly, not the most beautiful hotel because very well picked but always worth a visit alone by the location.

Very good internet connection all employees are very attentive although at the entrance smell a bit of tobacco that's the only thing that bothered me but rest is fine.

Very good welcoming and smiling at this hotel where the staff are very helpful (and polyglot for the reception).
The breakfast is varied and complete (European breakfast (croissant, bread Jam) and American (scrambled egg, bacon, sausage) ) The room is a little small but very suitable and very heated (possibility of setting the temperature).
Except flat that does not give it 5 stars, sonic Insulation (hallway, top neighbor and pipeline) but value for money, I highly recommend it by its location (20m from the Rialto Bridge) and its welcome!

Historic hotel with breathtaking views over the grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge. Here you can breathe the atmosphere of the Venice of the past, well organized and spacious rooms, very clean. Unique ones with canal views that make it difficult not to spend time admiring a unique spectacle in the world. Good breakfast and varied in a nice lounge. Wi-fi fast. Courteous staff and friendliest, also in the councils inherent in the city. Another feature that makes this hotel a great choice for visiting Venice is its strategic location, close to points of interest and transportation. Personally my first choice when staying in Venice. Absolutely recommended.

Great location, clean room, breakfast coffee to review…

L'hotel situato lungo il Canal Grande e con vista sul ponte di Rialto, quindi in un'ottima posizione. Il personale è cortese e sempre disponibile per ogni evenienza. La permanenza è stata soddisfacente, ma ci sono alcuni problemi che vorrei evidenziare. Ho pernottato in una camera quadrupla: la stanza era alquanto piccola e non era abbastanza grande per ospitare 4 persone. Nonostate l'albergo sia arredato in tipico stile veneziano, bisognerebbe dare una rinfrescata poiché le stanze sono alquanto vecchie. La TV non funzionava correttamente, in quanto non funzionava l'audio. Il problema è stato segnalato ma purtroppo non risolto in quanto la permanenza è stata di una sola nottata. Per il resto lenzuola e bagno erano puliti e la prima colazione è stata discreta. Consiglio l'albergo per la sua posizione strategica a coloro che non intendono fermarsi a lungo e che prevedono di passare la quasi totalità della giornata in giro per la città.

The view from the room we were in was fantastic. We had a balcony overlooking Rialto Bridge. The room was furnished in classic Venetian style, really lovely. It was a bit small, but in a place where space is at a premium, it's to be expected. Especially for the price, very good value for Venice. I don't understand all the comments complaining about the lack of air conditioning, there was definitely air conditioning in our room, which was well appreciated in the 90 degree summer heat. It worked so well that I was actually quite cold in the night. The staff were very friendly and helpful with us, too.

Our check-in was fast and the receptionist was welcoming. Our room (22) was tidy and bathroom clean. Room was warm even though no heater. It was nice to have balcony overlooking the canal. The hotel itself was very quiet, and we didn't hear any noise outside our room from inside. We did however hear some noise from outside at night but it wasn't annoying. We expected that considering we asked for a canal view room. Wifi was included and was fast and we didn't have any problems. Breakfast was included in the charge. It was okay but certainly not great. Coffee wasn't very nice and buns either. Overall our stay was pleasant and we enjoyed it.

Pros: Very close to the Rialto Bridge and easy access to San Marco and San Polo. Rates we got were pretty good for a Venice hotel. Room was very clean. Cons: No A/C so the windows had to be kept open, which would be fine except the hotel is next to two restaurants and in the morning at 8:00am there was constant, very loud noises like someone was throwing out glass bottles into a metal container for about 30 minutes. I could not figure out what it was. At night, with the windows open you can hear loud talking as people walk down the alley until at least 1:00am. Again, would be solved if there was A/C available and we could have shut the windows. No lift/elevator. Very old inside and down one hallway it always smelled moldy as you walked through. The Wifi was terrible. It worked the first two nights we were there. On the 3rd night it went out about 11:30 at night. We complained and the technician came out next day. For the remainder of our stay (4 more nights) it was constantly an issue. It would go out randomly and when it was working it was VERY slow. The desk person said they had very old wires and needed to upgrade. Not helpful. The 3rd night this occurred I went to the desk again. The younger guy working the desk said, "Well, it's working fine down here", and then literally turned up the volume on some show he was watching behind the desk so he couldn't hear me anymore! The room we had was very small.

Hotel is in the best place on the grande canal. Restaurants all along this stretch. 10 minute walk to St marks square.
Hotel is clean, tidy. Probably needs updating but then venice is old and so are the buildings!

Hotel in typical Venetian style, clean rooms, and Raccomandatissimo for its location in the center, right next to Rialto Bridge.

The only great thing about this place is the great location. On the downside, the lack of elevator it's but a nightmare when travelling carrying heavy luggage. I personally dislike continental buffet breakfasts as I am a picky person and like eating gourmet food as I keep a kosher diet, but if you are into them, this place may be suitable for you. I'd say, this hotel it's costly, just like everything in Venice. Awful facade as it badly needs to be refurbished, the corridors… in general seem kind of a labyrinth. The personnel are plain, feels as though they are cold by not offering extra help about the city, but never impolite. In general, it's ok, just for the location. Internet sucks at night.

Nice hotel (older but well maintained) with an amazing location! The rooms with terraces and views of the Ponte di Rialto canal are fantastic!

The most important thing, reserving our water taxi for an early morning flight, FAIL. Asking all of the front desk staff SEVERAL times the night before, to be told each time our taxi would be here. We arrive at the front desk at 4:20am, expecting to be picked up at 4:30, no taxi at 4:35. I had to go round and round with the man at the desk that we MUST have a taxi immediately. He kept insisting his colleague reserved it when she told me the night before it would be called when we came down. So, here we sit, all of the extra time we had allowed gone. Still not sure at this point if we will make our flight. No taxi yet. The less price is NOT worth this type of stress and scare.

Very well placed hotel to visit Venice. Correct room, however very poorly soundproof, you get the impression that your neighbor is in your room.

The most disgusting service! A disgrace to Venice. Have never experienced rudeness like it in l my life. Now I have never written a bad review on trip advisor as I've never truly felt the need. And it really bothers me when I see very petty remarks and bad review given to a premise because of very small in adequate complaints. But this I have to make you aware of. Please to not visit or go near this restaurant on the canal on Rialto Bridge. They are push horribly waiters and a disgrace to Venice, Italy and mankind. We were greeted by a bossy waiter who was pushy and issued us to our seats before we decided if we liked the menu. We sat down anyway as our experience of Venice was so lovely we couldn't fault any of it, or anyone so we went with the flow and sat down. My Partner was really in the mood for some pizza but it wasn't immediately evident on the menu… Whilst we were waiting to be served and enquire about pizza, my partner walked up to the boards of the restaurant. Mistakenly he was looking at the board of another restaurant next door / adjoining. And immediately a disgusting little old man of a waiter came over, snapped the menu out of my hand, shouted at me in front of the whole outdoor restaurant area, and told me to leave. I was so shocked and totally confused I was about to order our pizza and a bottle of champagne from them and here I am being totally disrespected in the most crude way.

Nice room and good location for exploring Venice.

Location, location, location. Located just 50m from the Rialto Bridge this has to be one of the best positions of any hotel on the Grand Canal. Centrally located for easy access to all parts of Venice. Flew into Marco Polo airport June 2014. Took the ATV water taxi to the Rialto stop on the Grand Canal. Short walk across Rialto Bridge to hotel. Arrived early for check in. Room ready immediately. Rooms are not large but this is a 12th Century building! Rooms & hotel very clean. Excellent bathroom facilities: Clean, good stock of towels changed daily. Very comfortable bed. Safe in room. We did not have the breakfast at the Hotel because we had breakfast on the Grand Canal at one of the Restaurants outside the hotel. Concierge arranged water taxi for collection from hotel and transport to airport. Throughly recommended. We are returning next year.

Excellent location, clean, friendly — no thrills Hotel.

We were at the Hotel Marconi for 2 nights. We have booked Bed and Breakfast. The location of the 3 * hotel is beautifully and directly on Lake Garda. Unfortunately, our room was a disappointment. Although we had a beautiful view of the Lake but the furniture and our bathroom had seen already better times. The cement joints were rotting and the shower was in a good condition. Our balcony was covered with cobwebs and the inventory visually slowly away. The same also in the garden, which would be really nice if you say deck chairs etc would look better inventory. All full of cobwebs and also rusty and unkempt. The breakfast was good only the coffee really inedible. The buffet was prepared fresh with various sweets every morning. The owner family was always ready and Nice. The small town of Sirmione is worth a visit. Several very good restaurants that know their stuff. We ate super. Appetizers, seafood, pasta and Dolci.
