My partner and I were guests of this hotel in June 2018.
Really a bad experience. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. They knew the air conditioning wasn't working, but they didn't tell us anything, until in the evening at 22:30 we went back to the hotel, after a long hot day visiting beautiful Venice, we noticed. We called the front desk and they told us that they knew it and that they would give us a temporary mobile air conditioner, with the result that it took us more than an hour to organize the whole thing, the power outlets in the room did not work, we had to sleep with the window open, breathing the smell of fish coming from the restaurant below.

Great location and unique hotel. Bathrooms are quite small but a well decorated room with modern conveniences in a historic building really makes the experience.

Great location (2 minutes to St. Mark's Square), nice room with air conditioning and very nice staff! We'll be back :)

Amazing hotel! Extremely friendly staff and breakfast was way more than expected and a wonderful surprise. More than just a continental, there was cold cuts, cheese, eggs and a variety of breads. We were there during carnival and there’s no better place to stay for the price. You can’t beat the price for the location. For people complaining about the small rooms, they don’t know what the housing situation is like in Venice or what the standard is for European Hotel rooms. They probably don’t follow the Respect Venezia laws either. You are on a city literally 900 years old on water, yes the hotel rooms are going to be a little small. Be glad that you are able to be in this beautiful city while you can. I found that it was very comfortable for two and very clean as well. I would highly recommend.

Practically inside San Marco. Very nice staff and good breakfasts. Nice furnishings, clean and comfortable. The room was very small and the bathroom was very good.

It works as a hostel as soon as the services, despite the three stars. There are no elevators, no hygiene items, and the shower fixtures are broken. I didn't want to return my shower toiletries, to replenish the hotel dispensers.

Hotel is in a great location and very close to the attractions. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The only down side was the size of the room and the tiny TV on the wall. The bathroom was also extremely small too otherwise Ii would stay there again.

Brilliant location very close to St Marco Square, staff spoke to us in English and French and were very courteous. Room was fine with coffee and tea and in the street are some excellent little restaurants.

Fantastic location, so easy to get back to if you get yourself lost amongst the canals and alleys that make Venice so much fun to explore. Our room was comfortable enough and quite elegant, although we were only ever in it sleep and freshen up. Staff were extremely friendly and offered superb advice on hidden joys off the beaten track. Only let down for me was the breakfast, but that just leaves more room for eating out at lunch and dinner.

The room is small but you have coffee and tea in the room. Breakfast is not free unless specified in your booking. The cost is €7. Per person. It's not a hot buffet but you have a good variety of deli meat & cheeses, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereals & bread.

The staff or family running this hotel were very helpful as there is no lift and reception is on the first floor so bags have to be carried up the stairs. There is no porter service so you are dependant upon their kindness and they did also take our bags to our room. The 'superior' room is glamorously clad with fabric lined walls and guilded furniture, very clean with air con and flat screen TV.
We were only there for two nights so the lack of clothes storage space didn't bother us to much. We did find with two of us moving about the bedroom was challenging with two suitcases also occupying the limited space. Bed was very comfortable and the standard of room service excellence. Shower room was nice but the shower itself is no more than 70cm in length and width and had no internal shelf. The water control is easily nudged in such cramped space and can leave you under very hot or very cold water.
Breakfast very basic and limited quantity. No fruit only cooked was a boiled eggs our first morning not available second day. Cheese, bread and ham, two cereals coffee and fruit juice.
Wi-Fi good and although there is a charge for it they didn't take the money when we highlighted we were due to pay. Overall the room was quiet, pretty and clean, plenty of hot water, in a brilliant location.

Narrow room, stifling, low ceiling. Blood stains on the double curtain, lampshade and canopy curtain. Very bad value for money.
Breakfast in buffet low and poor quality. No fresh fruit, no real fruit juice, but tang-type drinks. If you eat breakfast in the last, there is no more bread, no more pastries…

A lovely place to stay in Venice. Great service, central location and quality of the room made my niece's first visit to Venice perfect. And the extra milk was most appreciated too. Thanks again.

Lovely friendly gentleman at front desk made our stay most enjoyable. Great location. Clean but small rooms. The grand suite is beautifully decorated with old Venetian charm. Within walking distance to Piazza San Marco (5mins).
