We spent, with friends, several days in this beautiful hotel. It is a very beautiful and particular structure, surrounded by greenery with a very well-kept botanical garden and breathtaking sea views.

Very clean, friendly and capable staff, quiet, great sleep, pretty isolated location (quality and defect at the same time), Spa nice and manicured but on 4 times the spa pool (the flagship) was cold. An often open door on the outside cools those who leave the steam room. The food, I was half board, overall only discreet. Slightly lower than expected which, given previous reviews, was high. Excessive price. Read the observations of the management I add, something I have not written before, out of sheer kindness, that the "slight disturbance" began, intense, the night after the first dinner at the Grifo. I had left in half a plate of pasta with fish with a very dubious taste and smell. Being a travel day I had eaten 4 cookies (marie) on the morning of departure with a juice.

My husband and I have just wrapped up our holiday in the charming island of Ischia, staying at this hotel, pampered by a attentive, professional and affectionate staff. Thanks to the valuable advice of the staff, we were able to experience the sensations, emotions and places of an island that surprises and enchants. The environment is clean, welcoming and comfortable; The shuttle service is useful and efficient; the relaxing spa.

We chose the Ghifo Hotel trusting from the photos posted on the site and reading the guest reviews. Booking a 7 day stay for the 50th anniversary of Our parents (very demanding people) and unfortunately only 2 days for us daughters… At our departure the greeting was a warm brotherly embrace with so much emotion…
At the Ghifo Hotel Pampering for guests start with the shuttle service from the port with very polite and caring drivers… to continue with the friendly welcome welcome to the Ghifo Hotel of the Owners. And discover that everything is very well cared for from the parking lot to the garden, from the pool to the solar terrace, to the beautiful and clean rooms. When you arrive at the SPA you would no longer want to leave for the care and attention of the kind and caring Alba… another highlight is the kitchen with the chef's exquisite delicacies enriched by the polite and unquestionable professionalism of Tony and his collaborators. I booked a week's stay at the Grifo Hotel for my parents. They were enchanted. They are two very demanding people: in a structure they seek: cleanliness, excellent cuisine, the presence of a spa and proximity to a village where to spend the evening. For them it was not the first time in Ischia, but this stay was for them the top. They were pampered and spoiled. The place is situated in a beautiful landscape, the restaurant is followed by a young chef able to make extraordinary dishes (above all the restaurants in the area). The spa is very functional and guests are provided with all the accessories they can serve (bathrobe, cobbler etc. ). An anecdote? My parents' car was parked under a tree, as it had got dirty the hotel staff decided to wash it :-) if it's not kindness this. The top. The price? Great. I was good at finding them, but they did the rest. They cried when the stay ended.

We just spent a week at the hotel. Shame to start again! We were accompanied every day with great professionalism and courtesy so that the holiday was completely up to our expectations. Owners and staff of the hotel always amiably at the customer's disposal, able to address with speed and efficiency to relieve us from any worries.

Stayed with my boyfriend for 3 nights at the end of May. I have to say that the property is very new, clean, fresh (the Hotel is in the hills) and this was the real advantage of the holiday. Also the hotel is equipped with a well organized spa and we had the opportunity also to enjoy a complimentary facial treatment of which I was very satisfied. The outdoor pool is nice, pleasant, you can eat poolside during lunch. The restaurant room is right next to it and you enjoy a view of the pool and fresh air. Spacious room and bathroom in a modern/basic style. A few sins on the food, especially in detail certainly not in the raw material. However we judged great starters and breakfast.

Ischia is always a lovely place.

We had a wonderful holiday on this beautiful island. The hotel was very clean with great facilities. The courtesy bus was a lifesaver and there was never a problem booking transport up and down to the town of Ischia. Spectacular views from the hotel. Good choice of food. I would say that their biggest asset by far was the staff. Always pleasant and helpful, they went above and beyond to please, a special mention to the drivers who were delightful. I hope to visit again. Fabulous holiday, just what we needed xx.

My fiancé and I just got back after having some great times at this wonderful property. Kindness, competence and efficiency have accompanied every moment spent at the Grifo. Clean rooms, sublime kitchen, comfortable spa. But it was the availability of the entire staff: the owners, the receptionists, the shuttle drivers, the perfect maitre Antonio, the staff of the spa. We will return as soon as possible, we highly advise everyone to live Ischia through the stay at the Grifo.

Loved the hotel. The facilities are great. Swimming pool and spa brilliant.
Rooms including bathroom basic, but well presented and clean. Our room had an amazing view.
Ate breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant. All the food was delicious.
What really makes the hotel so good is the staff. They were professional, helpful and friendly. All of them. But special mention to Vicky on reception who helped make my friend's birthday that bit more memorable. What an asset she is to the hotel!

I must recognize that the assessment given by trip advisor was perfect, staff up to any situation, elegance, cleanliness, courtesy, kindness and professionalism of a high standard, make this hotel a cocktail of rare beauty, the food was very good with a wide choice of dishes cooked ever so sopraffino, compliments to the chef and maitre Antonio always attentive in every detail to satisfy the most diverse needs.
The structure is not very big but cured in every detail, has a really lovely location and adding a modern SPA with good spa makes the atmosphere very pleasant. The shuttle service provided by the hotel certainly makes it less stressful commute to visit various places in the island.
All managed by the owners Mr. Albert and his wife which must be applauded for their professionalism and commitment they have made to ensure that everything worked like a charm.
When it is possible I will be back and definitely recommend it to my friends and family.

The last week of June 2015 I spent a holiday at the hotel Grifo and had a positive experience from the reception. Arrived at the hotel we felt from the beginning, to be pampered, and it's just been that way. Thanks to the attention for hospitality directly operated by the owners, Messrs Griffin and the entire staff. Both common parts that Islander-style furnished rooms, gave the feeling of relaxation and comfort, each remarkable detail also restaurant with its manicured menu. Don't forget the Spa I'd say notable.
The location is strategic as it brings out the various municipalities with ease while being in an oasis of peace, out of the confusion.
Perfect cleaning. Great value for money.

The hotel is really wonderful: quiet, lovely decoration, good breakfast and friendly staff. I specially enjoyed the SPA, with Jacuzzi, plunge pool warm and hot water, scented showers, hammam and sauna. The view from the hotel is beautiful and it's near the larger village of Ischia, where the port, allowing you to relax, to discover small restaurants, to admire the locally produced ceramics.
In short I especially recommend this hotel where we spent a very pleasant stay.
