Ohh my where do we start, this is the second time that I have been here and from sending a message about availability to booking which is soo easy to do. The staff is super friendly from your first step through the door Rooms are immaculate and massive plenty off space to run above for our 2 year old granddaughter Breakfast was an order sheet that we pre picked and we had the choice off times to come down at to keep everyone safe Food is amazing too and there was plenty off it. We even added some porridge for Sophia which they were very hospitable and served her up a bowl. Highly recommended to anyone we drove 8 hrs to get there it’s definitely worth the drive.! 10/10 in every respect. Stayed in the family room last weekend and were very impressed.
Cleanliness: 10/10. Absolutely spotless.
Room: 10/10. Spacious, with a great layout, clean, comfortable beds, modern bathroom.
Breakfast: 10/10. Top quality food served with a smile (under their facemasks…).
Parking: On-site, secure.
Location: A nice 10-minute walk south of the main town centre, which is itself immaculate. Absolutely recommend staying at this hotel.

· Fantastic location and beautiful Lodge. Enjoyed the experience from start to finish. Niall was such a wonderful host! The breakfast was wonderful and the ladies at breakfast service were amazing. I took advantage of the lounge for a drink after a long day of driving and touring. The room was comfortable and clean. The kind lady at reception helped me with my laundry when the dryer at the laundromat wasn't working — I wished I would've planned better as the Lodge offered a laundry service. Within walking distance to restaurants and stores.

A great place. We stayed here and explored Killarney, Killarney National Park, Ring of Kerry, and the Dingle Peninsula. Friendly, walking distance to plenty of pubs and restaurants, an all around great place.

Cute little hotel. Clean, and cozy. Niall and Rory were both very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Room was very spacious and clean. Wifi was good. Niall helped us set up tours which were awesome. Close to downtown Killarney. I would definitely recommend and stay again!

The O’Donough brothers are most attentive to guests’ needs. Their friendly manner, local knowledge, quick wit, and personalized tour advice make a stay at the Lodge perfect. The rooms are decorated with warm Irish charm, clean and comfortable. Breakfast time is a pleasure because service and selection make one feel very special. Owner Maureen bakes the breads, and her scones are the most delicious in all of Ireland. The bar and front room lounge are warm, welcoming, and spacious. I have stayed at Old Weir three times and can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Killarney! Make a reservation today; the family and the setting will not disappoint.

Had the pleasure of staying nights here with my family. Warm welcome assured. Friendly staff and management. Nothing was too much trouble even had glue on hand to fix my daughter's broken glasses. Comfiest beds ever and spotless rooms. Tasty breakfast and plenty of choices. Wd highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back. Thanks for having us.

A very homely family run guest house within easy walking distance of Killarney town. Made very welcome by Niall, Rory and mum! Scrupulously clean everywhere and a substantial tasty breakfast (we had vegetarian version and it was more than adequate). Would return anytime. Full marks.

Two couples on our trip stayed here for 4 nights. The two brothers managing the front desk were friendly, helpful, and offered up many suggestions of things to do or routes to take. The rooms were pleasant, but “Euro-sized” so wouldn’t want to spend all your time in the room. Breakfast was included and had continental and cooked options. Definitely good way to start the day. Again, friendly staff and quick. We usually walked into town, but it is a fair bit away, so if walking isn’t your thing, you might want something in the downtown itself. There are eating options nearby as well as bike rentals which was a fun way to get out and see the nearby Dublin Castle.

We loved our stay at the Old Weir Lodge! The staff was wonderful, and the breakfast had loads of tasty options. Our room was perfect, and we really liked the easy walk into town — not too far to have to drive, but not so close that constant street noise was an issue at night. The Lodge is also a perfect driving distance from many 'must see' locations, including day trips to the Slea Head Loop/Dingle or the Ring of Kerry. We'd definitely return!

Exceptional staff make this place a real treat! When it comes to finding a great place to stay, service is at the top as to whether I stay or not. Old Weir Lodge definitely has this! From the front desk to the staff working the dining room for morning breakfast, everyone was the friendliest and most helpful. Room are well appointed with everything you need to make your stay the best, that is except for air conditioning! If I had only one drawback from the entire stay, it was that the room got a little stuffy at night when trying to sleep. Killarney was also experiencing one of its hottest springs so that may have had something to do with it too. I would only recommend that maybe the lodge could offer a fan incase you feel the need to use one. Other than that, fantastic! The morning breakfast was wonderful. I looked forward to going every morning we were there! They had a wide variety of buffet style food available plus you could order from a menu for additional breakfast options. Overall, one of the best places we stayed at when visiting Ireland.

We have loved our stay at Old Weir Lodge. The premises is beautiful and well kept. The staff is all one family, very friendly, and great at recommendations for things to do in and around Killarney. It's the perfect distance from the national park and enough outside of town to be quiet. We still have two more evenings here are sad that we couldn't stay longer. We will definitely return in the future!

Our stay here was more than we expected. Within walking distance to lots of places down town, and minutes drive to the trail head of a mountain hike, our room was a nice quite retreat in the middle when ready to rest. Rory and the rest of the staff were simply brilliant!

What a lovely b&b! Great location and the owners are super friendly. They helped us organize our activities and were extremely friendly.

Absolutely incredible hotel! The staff went truly above and beyond! My mom has a walker and admist the traveling she lost a screw and they found a replacement and truly saved the day for her! The rooms are spacious and really accommodate people with mobility problems well. Highly recommend and when we come back to Ireland I plan to stay here again :)

Old Weir Lodge is like the pearl in a shell. Only when you open it does it show its true value. If you are looking for a hotel not only as accommodation, but also like the attention to detail, cleanliness and a friendly attentive staff, whether at the reception or in the breakfast restaurant, is here just right and in good hands. The rich breakfast is served in style. The location of the hotel is perfect, the city itself very attractive and the gateway to many attractions.

One of the friendliest management staff that we have encountered so far in Ireland. They were really passionate about making our stay in killarney a memorable one. Also have to mention about their breakfast which had the multiple options for vegetarians, which is rare. We had a lovely time in killarney and old weir lodge team played a key role in that.

Clean and honest accommodation. The breakfast was simple but fresh and generous. The rooms are spacious and bright. Complimentary parking at front and rear. Just 10 minutes walk to the town centre and a plethora of dining/drinking choices. Friendly staff.

O m g what a lovely four days we had at old weir Lodge. All Staff were very friendly and helpful. A great atmosphere when we came down for breakfast. The food was lovely and fresh. Niall and Rory the owners were very helpful and both have good sense of humours. They gave us all information about Killarney and great places to eat we took their advice and we had beautiful meals. We are booking again for June that's the only place I'd stay in from now on when I visit Killarney. Location great 10 minutes walk from town. I was delighted with old Weir Lodge as there was 5 of us and I had booked so I was a bit nervous until we got there and everyone was very happy with the lodge couldn't fault it at all. Thanks to All.

If you're visiting Killarney do yourself a favor and stay at Old Weir Lodge. It's clean, comfortable, and all of the staff are not only nice they're also incredibly helpful. At check-in the gentleman at the front desk asked what we were hungry for. He then took out one of their local maps and not only told us which restaurants had what we were looking for, he also gave us the price range of each. He then gave us a regional map and told us how to drive around the Ring of Kerry and where to stop to see Skellig Michael. Breakfast was included and delicious!

Lovely guesthouse not a thing out of place fine big cosy room with tea making facilities, great T. V and Wi-Fi. Beautiful choice of breakfast.

Lovely place, friendly staff, very restful. 10 min walk to town one way and 10 min walk to INEC the other way. Perfect spot to adventure in the national park.

We would not hesitate in recommending the Old Weir Lodge guesthouse to anyone visiting Killarney. The rooms are lovely and clean and equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, tv, free Wi-Fi etc.
All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. They took time to have a conversation with everyone visiting. We were in the area for the adventure race and they even went out their way to bring my husband breakfast to our room as he was going to miss the 8-10am slot in the dining room and store his bike for him.
Breakfast was great. A lovely selection of buffet bits and then a menu of hot options.
We will definitely stay again next time we are in the area. Thanks!

Lovely little hotel just a short walk into Killarney city center. The hotel staff were very kind and informative. If you're up for an outdoor adventure ask about the Gap of Dunloe tours!

The old weir lodge provided us the perfect stay in Killarney. The place is pristinely cleaned, the staff more then 5stars and the breakfast delicious. Can't point out a single bad thing about the place. Staff members were very friendly, polite and great help with tips and suggestions. The room itself was very clean and cozy, bathroom very spacious with a nice strong shower. Would recommend to everyone and I won't even think about staying anywhere else on my next visit to Killarney.
