I can’t put into words how special and magical Dromoland Castle stay was and how wonderful staff made us feel. Beautiful picturesque grounds and 5 star service 24 7, we can’t thank enough and we are already looking forward to out next stay with ye 💕

After waiting many years we finally made it to Dromoland castle! We spent 3 glorious nights here. The service and staff were impeccable. We loved our beautiful room, the amazing venue, gorgeous gardens. We had the opportunity to try the falconry, massage, cycling and spa.
Couldn't recommend it highly enough! We will be back 🥰❤️

Beautiful Golf Course and clubhouse and hotel. Was treated like Royalty.

Excellent attention to detail in a very friendly atmosphere. Golf course in top class condition and the best chowder I had in years in the Fig Tree restaurant!

We stayed here after our wedding in December 2020.
From we got out of the car we were welcomed into the hotel and brought into check-in. Our room was amazing up in the tower with views that were breath taking. The food was delicious and staff so friendly especially Catherine thank you for all your assistance. We cannot wait to return.

We just had the most beautiful experience. Everything about the Castle — walks, golf, leisure centre, Spa, boats ‍♀️ Etc was soo enjoyable. COVID Guidelines very important to the Castle and we felt soo safe there.
Outstanding stunning food and drinks. Love your Chai Rum, first time tasting.

Dromoland castle is steeped in history. Beautiful nature walks, you can watch the wild birds on the lake, beautiful gardens, great food. I had afternoon tea there gluten free scones and tea it was fabulous, lovely spa area and treatments, beautiful golf course and clubhouse and a lovely place to stay for a holiday. I would recommend dromoland castle.

We love this castle, and the staff are so courteous and always so helpful. We are so lucky to have such an amazing castle and such an historic treasure in our county. The grounds are spectacular. A castle so close to Shannon international airport and in one of the most beautiful counties of Ireland, Co. Clare. To sit and have a beautiful glass of wine in the bar, afternoon tea and have a chat with a friend and relax in the charming surroundings is such a pleasure. We look forward to returning to our favorite castle in the very near future when this crisis is over. Wishing all the staff good health during this pandemic, Fionnuala and Joe Power.

We had an incredible stay at Dromoland! The staff was friendly and upgraded us to a suite! The interior and exterior were pristine. The food service was wonderful. Fantastic start to celebrate our 15 year wedding anniversary!

Just a great place to relax and unwind. No distractions like you might find on a city break. Food and ambiance 5*.

We had afternoon tea and the whole experience was wonderful. Nothing was too much and Eric the restaurant manager was so lovely. He gave us a tour of the hotel and the Christmas decorations were beautiful. Afterwards we went on the jaunting cart with Mia. Again she was lovely with so much knowledge.
Highly recommend.

The room we stayed in was so beautifully appointed and the vegetarian menu in the Earl of Thomand restaurant was so extensive I was really impressed … decor throughout castle was stunning and every member of staff so friendly professional and helpful… huge cocktail menu too. Lovely lunch in The Fig Tree and romantic walk on the grounds afterwards… we couldn't ask for a more romantic break away 5 stars!

Dromoland is an unbelievable experience from the moment you arrive. Service is next to none, nothing they don’t think of and food is great. Xmas is an especially great time. Susannah Sexton.

If this could be rated 10 Stars, I would. This is probably one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed. The service was Exquisite, the food was amazing and the staff was so helpful. The grounds are beautiful and we just had a wonderful time. If we come back to Ireland anytime soon, you will be on our list again at places to stay.

No adjectives can adequately describe our experiences at our son’s wedding last week — MAGICAL & AMAZING from start to finish. Staff & service brilliant — Food superlative (so good banquet would better describe it than reception) — the rooms were fantastic. If you want to stay like a princess, then I highly recommend. Also great golf course and gardens.

Held our captains day here on 29/6. Course is simply superb. Our members were raving about it. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was beautiful. Stayed in The Inn and again it's faultless. Can not recommend Dromoland enough.

I always feel at ease in Dromoland. Staff is very nice without being overwhelming. It’s such wonderful place and it’s such treat every time, afternoon tea, dinner, weddings or spa treatments are just lovely. I have never stayed because I have the luck of leaving within 10 minutes from it, but I am sure I would love that too.

The most elegant place I have ever visited. The service is second to none. They rush to meet your every wish. The decor is delightful, Victorian, my favorite. Our room is spacious, updated yet still beautiful. High tea is a must! The golf course is difficult but playable for dedicated hacker.

A little place called heaven Personally feel it’s the best hotel in Ireland. Beautiful grounds, castle and decor. The food is wonderful mix of traditional food, prepared and cooked to fine dining standards. Staff are friendly, chatty and extremely professional. The care and pride that they all take in the hotel and the Dromoland reputation makes this hotel the best of the best.

The horseback trekking is not to be missed! Truly a wonderful experience — — almost feels like you're in Lord of the Rings at times because the scenery is gorgeous. Our guide Niall was fantastic and very knowledgeable about the history of Ireland, the area, and, of course, the horses. Super easy to book through the castle, even if you're not staying. I can't recommend the experience and Niall enough.

Attended Afternoon tea for my sisters birthday, from the moment we arrived the staff were very welcoming + friendly. The food was beautiful, very accommodating to Dietary requirements. Extra effort made for sisters birthday. Staff couldn't do enough for us. Staff very attentive + knowledgeable. We finished our day with a walk around the beautiful walled Garden.

My wife and I stayed here for one night during our visit to Ireland and everything was top notch. From the greeting upon check-in to the final hug from Michael (the bellhop) upon departure the staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, and the food tasting at Earl of Thomond was wonderful. While at the castle we did the falcon walk, well worth the money and time. Definitely consider a stay here if you are looking to be treated like royalty.

For our group of 6, staying at Dromoland Castle in late May was the highlight of our Ireland trip. From the moment we arrived the staff was welcoming, gracious and attentive to our every need. The stateroom we were upgraded to was amazing and luxurious. We had dinner in the Gallery (no dress code). The food was delicious. The bartender makes a great "fruity" gin & tonic! After dinner, we took an evening walk in the walled garden and around the grounds. The sunset view over the lake was memorable. We also took the pony & cart tour with Sean who was very well-versed in Castle history. Per his directions, we located the dungeon door when we explored the castle on our own. We stayed two nights & that was not long enough! If we return to Ireland someday, would definitely stay here again! it is an experience you do not want to miss!

Staying at this estate was incredible. The staff was overly hospitable, professional, and courteous. The room we were in was very comfortable and recently renovated. The estate was beautifully maintained and great to walk about. They also offer great experiences such as falconry, row boats, bikes, archery, and more. We had nothing to complain of during our stay other than the short duration.

My husband and I stayed there the last night of our honeymoon, they upgraded us to the honeymoon suit in the top of one of the towers. All I can say is wow wow wow. Beautiful gardens and places to walk, you can easily spend days here just seeing the grounds and spending time with your loved one. The food was fantastic, staff very friendly and accommodating. We were treated like royalty. This was THE best way we could have topped off our honeymoon.

This castle is amazing! The grounds are stunning and everything you could ever want to do is right there. They have golf, clay shooting, archery, falconry, and more. It's a actual 5 star resort and they do turn down service, and they have s wonderful afternoon tea, I cannot say enough about how amazing it is staying in a castle.

Incredibly beautiful place. The rooms are luxurious and comfortable. The bathrooms are very nice. It's a nice addition that a dual outlet is provided for American plugs. The restaurants serve typical Irish grub. Everything we tried was very good. The staff were as pleasant and helpful as could be hoped for. Highly recommend for anyone wishing to be pampered and experience a place from another time. Would love to come back!

What a fantastic experience! This is definitely one of those once in a lifetime splurges that my fiance and I did and we couldn't be happier with the stay, the room, the amazing food, and omg the scenery! The staff service was most amazing, Michael our porter is awesome and I couldn't say enough kind things about this place. I highly recommend treating you and your loved one to a very special trip like this.

It's a castle! You have to stay in an actual castle if you are visiting Europe don't you? The grounds are nice so is the actual castle and the food is great. The rooms are a good size and they have both 110/120 volt (kind used in the US) and the regular european ones as well. If you stay 3 or more nights its 30 percent off so it could kind of be considered a good value if you are value minded like I am. The gym is very lacking if you actually lift weights. It has a few treadmills, elliptical and similar type of stuff but only 1 free weight flat bench some dumbbells and a couple weighted machines. But the entire experience is great and I couldn't find any reason to give it less than 5 stars.

Came here for dinner with a large group, and the service and food were both outstanding. The steak was excellent, and I tried the fish which was decent. Not as good as the steak. Very impressive for a group of over 100. I toured the grounds and this is a beautiful property, very quaint. Authentic looking smoking fireplaces and setting inside the Castle. Very very enjoyable evening.

An experience like no other. Step back in time and imagine what it was like to be a guest in a castle. Beautiful grounds, exceptional service. We enjoyed falconry, strolling through the beautiful grounds and gardens. My husband and daughter took a row boat out for some early morning fishing. The ammenities were incredible. You will not be disappointed.

My wife and I spent our honeymoon here in February 2015. We had a wonderful visit and enjoyed archery and falconry. We also went horseback riding just a little ways away. It was a wonderful time!

Not much of the the castle that we were able to see without getting a room there but very cool and beautiful place to see. I would most definitely recommend having afternoon tea there. Very very nice and upscale. I would like to get a room there just to see the rest of the castle.

What a wonderful experience. From the moment we were greeted by John at the door to the moment we left. The dinner was 5 star, after we moved into the bar & partied all evening. Breakfast was well done then we went on a carriage ride with Popeye.

My wife, daughter & I only went there to dine. The majestic rooms and amenable staff lend themselves to a unique dining experience. After the meal we took a stroll around the 'Walkwalled' fairy gardens, access to which we gained via the golf club-house. I would encourage anyone to visit.

I regret that I was only able to stay for a day since we were only passing through. We had tea next to the fire in one of the parlors which was fantastic. Had dinner which was good (4 stars), presentation of the dinner (5 stars), service and hospitality of the wait staff at dinner (5 out of 5 stars). All the staff here went above and beyond for us. This was our first trip to the Ireland and the stay here was the highlight of a wonderful experience.

Beautiful dinner. Went for the 8 course tasting menu. The food was gorgeous and not buttery or too creamy. Staff were fabulous. Engaging but not obtrusive. Highly recommend it.

I've never had an experience spectacular like the dromoland castle. The food was delicious and the rooms were gorgeous. I believe one side doesn't have AC but the one I stayed at had a heater/AC. They were doing some patchwork on some parts of the castle, which is why there are some pictures with a part of the area blocked off. Make sure to bring fancy clothes for one part of their 3 restaurants since it's required. However there is a restaurant that you can just go that doesn't require that to get lunch, tea, dinner etc etc. Make sure to ask for a map from the front desk. It's a maze at the beginning but you'll get used to it.

Beautiful inside and outside. Staff is wonderfully accomodating and can't do enough for their guests! Best hotel I have ever had the pleasure to visit.

We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon tea in the magnificent Earl of Thomond dining room. The food was beautiful and the piano playing really added to the experience. Highly recommended!

First 5 Star hotel and I enjoyed it. It had a lot to offer and the rooms mini bar was amazing as well as the guys there to greet you were fabulous.

Amazing stay in the castle. Room was beyond beautiful with tasteful decor and furnishings. The grounds were immaculate and the staff provided service to a level not found very often. Loved just walking around and enjoying the paths and where they would take us… such places as the lake, walled garden, and lily pond. Fabulous… a must if you travel to Ireland.

Wow, this place was simply amazing. I got to enjoy some truly unique experiences while here. If you've got the time, do the Hawk Walk! You won't regret it! The service was impeccable, the room was spacious and beautiful. I've been singing Dromoland's praises to anyone who will listen!

I often bring friends visiting Ireland there and they all loved the little trip there. Amazing Park and lake, jawdropping decoration in the castle — it is just beautiful. We always enjoy our little tea there, delicious soups, mains and desserts all served with silverware. Wow… Thank you for making us princes and princesses for an hour or so.

Everything was great! The rooms were huge. The staff was friendly and helpful. If you get to so the falconry make sure to pet Mr. Pickles.

We stayed at Dromoland the day we arrived in Ireland from a trans-Atlantic flight, and we couldn't ask for a better experience. The hotel grounds and rooms are immaculate. Everyone from the valet, concierge, bartenders and servers provided excellent and professional service which added to the overall experience. The hotel's attention to detail created a once in a lifetime experience. The next time we visit Ireland, we will definitely stay here again!

A dream come true, it was a phenomenal experience from the hotel, to the dinner, tobto the activities on the grounds. Absolutely stunning building and even better staff.

This is probably our favorite hotel stay so far. The grounds are huge (it's on a golf-course) and there's a ton of nature to enjoy. Rooms were beautiful, food was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Had a tremendous one night stay. Wished we had a few more nights for a visit. The grounds are tremendous and the Castle itself is breath taking. There are lots of activities from golf, archery and even falconry. The staff was fantastic and made you feel like you are truly the king of this castle. I would highly recommend a visit by anyone visiting the area. Treat yourself to at least one night like we did.

Phenomenal experience staying here! Service is unparalleled, food amazing, scenery perfect! Paulina was brilliant helping us at front desk and always had a smile! Archery with Pat was awesome! However the highlight for me was the spa. I'm not usually a spa type of guy but this place is unreal. Go to the spa, request Aisha. My livelihood is providing aggressive soft tissue work to fix injuries quickly. I've had a lot of massages in the past and quit getting them because I'd feel improved for 30 minutes and no better than what I can do myself with a foam roller. Aisha is hands down one of the most intuitive healers I've had the honor to work with. I didn't have to say a word. Great skill, fantastic experience, better energy for days now! She and the Dromoland have restored my confidence in massage! I will certainly be back to reschedule with Aisha next time I am in Ireland!

Beautiful castle! We stayed at 6 castle while in Ireland, Dromoland & Ashford were our favorite. Very picturesque. The location is also great for a easy drive from the Shannon airport and the Cliffs of Moher.

Food service attention to detail outstanding, top quality food. Staff very attentive and knowledgeable very professional. Superb location in idyallic surroundings.

The only problem about this place is that I live in the states and its in amazing stunning Ireland. I stayed here for my honey moon over 10 years ago and not a week goes by when I don't think about this place and how amazing it is. As one review said its magical… that sadly is an understatement it is a source of enchantment and wonderment. I have been a world traveler I have been to the worlds Luxury hotels in my time but this place is one that I remember the most. Amazing amazing amazing nothing in this world compares.

This place was just magical. I have stayed in some amazing hotels, many much more famous and expensive than this one, but I can easily say I never received such quality service. Every single staff member went out of their way to make sure we had a perfect and highly personal stay. Even when we made a little blunder (not realizing my husband needed a jacket for the bar until we saw a little placard) they turned it into an opportunity to serve us a private meal in an adjoining room — with staff coming in to chat us up and crack jokes, and making us feel like the most honored guests at the hotel. Truly amazing, and I doubt I will ever remember another hotel experience so fondly.

I felt like a queen! Spent our last two nights at the Dromoland Castle and was the best end to a 2 week holiday! Never left the property! Took a wonderful adventure with Sean and his friendly horse & carriage and learned a lot about the land! Loved every second of it! We are going back next year and staying at least a week!
