L attended a function at the Inn Sept 7th '22 and spent the night thereof. Both service and staff were excellent and I wish to compliment all concerned. Thank you.

Uwful expierence — brought alot of busness to them and they charged me for people who were not present! Manager I dealt with was so rude, asked for general manager Niko to call me and he never did — awful customer service! Will never go again.

Have just arrived home from our stay, We couldn’t fault the hotel in any way! We would highly recommend for families, both our boys (2&11) loved it! The staff were so friendly and helpful, we even tried to extend our stay but unfortunately the hotel was fully booked! The food was fab, breakfast had plenty of choice and great atmosphere in the bar. Can’t wait to return next year! Clare is definitely a hidden gem in Ireland, as was the hotel!

Over priced breakfast like a cattle stamped staff need to improve on manners left this morning without breakfast because of the queue but most of all 18 euros for a burger is an absolute ripoff I won’t be staying here again thanks.

We had a fantastic stay staff in the restaurant and at the reception are very helpful. Unfortunately we were forgotten about in the bar on our second day, but overall we are happy and the kids had a ball. Comes highly recommended for people with young kids so much to keep them entertained you dont have to leave the hotel grounds everything you need is here 😀

The play center is rotten dirty the hallways are rotten dirty the smell of damp it’s cold in the rooms the hotel was that bad I went back to the room for the evening which are ok carpets everywhere should be removed it’s like walking into the temple of doom in the halls to the play center snot wiped on bedside table and shower blocked the list goes on and only checked in 4 hours ago would go only I have a small child who just traveled 3 hours to get here.

Ive so far had a lovely experience the swimming the play area ball centre for kids so go and the bar service so good and accommodating for kids the one man band so friendly even towards kids my little man loves cranberries zombie and high way to hell but this one man even sang the wiggle ha he was great thanks for a lovely experience and stay.

Our family just had the most amazing weekend staying at The Inn at Dromoland. The staff are honestly the nicest most helpful people we've ever met, they couldn't do enough for us. Our family room was so spacious & was spotless clean & we were greeted with a fruit bowl & birthday plate for my partner which was a lovely touch. The food & service in the bar was amazing again the staff were so attentive & couldn't do enough to make sure we had everything we needed. The pool was lovely & warm. The play facilities are very good they kept our 3 children entertained for a few hours. All in all this will not be our last visit to The Inn at Dromoland. Thank you for a lovely relaxing weekend👏🏼❤

Just checked in and have to say the Receptionist was awesome so helpful anx the family room is stunning.

Was here the weekend and we could not have had a better stay. The staff was lovely. All the staff. Rooms were spotless. Bathrooms was modernized. The food was unreal. From the presentation of it to the amount. Fab food. I am coeliac so they were very knowledgeable of gluten free food and made seperate. They looked after my needs with no hassles. The breakfast was made specially and seperate. The options was amazing. Only thing I would say some parts need an upgrade like the swimming pool part but it's seems to be all getting an upgrade soon. But over all we enjoyed everything. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Been going here for 22 years and it was great to be back. Rooms are beautiful and staff superb as they always were. Our 3 girls had an absolute ball and want to go back again. Thank ye for a wonderful stay and we’ll see ye again shortly!

Rest of the stay was fine, but booked 3 nights and on the 3rd night there was a loud house party above us. I love a good house party, but we were in a family suite and my son who usually sleeps like the dead was woken up and couldn’t get back to sleep with the noise. I ended up having to ring the front desk 4 times to ask them to just be a little more quiet, I won’t begrudge anyone a good time, I’ve been asked to be quiet in a hotel before. But they did not comply, and since the hotel staff would not help I was forced to pack up and go home so my son could get some sleep. Worse that the night porter was very apologetic and took my email and mobile to pass on to the manager, and I never heard anything. No apology, no refund for the night that we had to leave because they couldn’t handle just asking people to be a little quieter (I would have been fine with the occasional loud laughter or whatever, but I could hear their conversations (including a girl butchering Horse Outside, she did the Rubberbandits dirty). A fine hotel but if there’s ever a problem terrible customer service.

Myself and my husband and two kids stayed for 2 night's last week. We weren't sure what to expect with the restrictions and not stayed here before. Everything from when we arrived to checking out was just perfect, nothing was to much for the staff. So friendly and helpful we pre booked play area for the kid's, swimming and our meals to avoid disappointment with times. With the restrictions everything ran very smoothly. We'd highly recommend the inn dromoland for a family break away. This is just what we needed and can't wait to return. Thanks, Sandra.

A group of 8 of us 4 adults 4 children stayed for 3nights on a staycation cant recommend the hotel enough. From check in to dining it was great couldnt fault it at all. We all had a really enjoyable few days thank you.

Just spent friday and Saturday nights at your hotel, such a lovely weekend with family there! fantastic food, service and rooms are spotless! Kids spent most of the time in the pool and kids pool and adults loved the pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and those brave enough went into the plunge pool! The play room for the younger kids was an added bonus! Really fantastic staff, were very helpful! Will be back A+

Our first impression was pretty bad. It was crowded and loud with kids running everywhere. But we found out they were having a wedding reception and we totally understood! Our room was lovely and the staff really is nice and try hard to accommodate you. We had a nice stay and would come back.

Such a beautiful setting. Walked the grounds of the estate today with my family and popped backed into Shannigans Bistro for food, top marks to the Chef and waiting staff. And the hotel staff… well they were beautiful, so nice, polite and professional. What more could one ask for. We will be back for sure!

Lovely hotel very helpful staff.

Couldn't recommend this hotel enough. Stayed for two nights with my daughters. Unfortunately my daughter was ill and we had to make a trip to Limerick hospital. The hotel staff were so accommodating. When we got back from the hospital in the early hours all our beds were made and two lovely teddies left for my daughters. One of my daughters is autistic and found being away from home hard. The hotel staff couldn't of been more helpful and put us at ease throughout our stay. Thank yo all so much for everything you did for us. Also we got a taxi Patrick Corry who brought us to the hospital. We can't thank him enough for his understanding of our situation. He got us to the out of hours doctor and waited to see how we got on and brought us across to the hospital. He even messaged today to see how my daughter was.

Had best 2 night with 2 kids. Best hotel for kids and adults we had best weekend. Very chilled relaxed we will be back thsml to all staff there xxx.

Great staff and scenic views for all to enjoy. Pub was very nice and food was super. Lift is quite a walk from check-in but stairs are closer if you don’t have much luggage.

Lovely Staff, lovely hotel, lovely rooms altho the drain in the bath in our room made funny noises… lovely food except for breakfast (room service) I'd recommend going down for breakfast its fresher and hotter… Would stay here again as overall experience was grand ☘️

Stayed here for 1 night with hubby and 3 kids. Could not fault the hotel. I was told when booking that the family rooms had not yet been redecorated so I wasn't sure what to expect. The room was perfect. Spotlessly clean and plenty of room for 5 of us. Kids evening entertainment was brilliant. We got a brilliant deal which included breakfast and dinner. The food was gorgeous and staff were so friendly especially our waitress Cliona. We were sorry we only booked 1 night and will definitely be back. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We stayed there on a family trip. The quality of the hotel is very limited. The rooms are in poor condition (sserie, bedding) and very limited ua level of cleanliness. The pool is nice but no individual cabin to change. In short, far below what the establishment wants to look like. We tested a dozen other hotels in the same category which is the most disappointing.

Attended a family wedding on 4th August. Amazing from start to finish. Have to mention 3 staff members who were outstanding. Waiter & waitress Lee & Fiona, and barman Mark. Everyone was amazing but these three went above & beyond. Amazing venue. Returned again yesterday for a meal and it was beautiful. Will be back again soon. ️️️️

Attended a wedding there and it was lovely. The whole day was phenomenal. The service from the staff was next to none. The food was fantastic, the drinks were brilliant. Lovely selection in both areas. Parking was great and it's only 10 minutes from Ennis.

Myself & my family stayed here for 3 nights a few weeks ago. Rooms were very comfortable, kids loved the playarea, the staff were very friendly & helpful. The food was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

Just on way back from a two night stay with 3 tired kids! We didn't do much around hotel as we done day trips away so can't comment on play areas etc! Ate in the bar both evenings food lovely, good portions and great kids menu! Breakfast was lovely aswell. Pool great for kids. Service good throughout hotel. Room (257) good size for family of 5 — bathroom due an upgrade but still very usable. Great location for exploring the area. Would stay again thanks.

I have read many reviews that were less than positive regarding the rooms at the Inn at Dromoland, while it is true that they do not have air conditioning (very few hotels in Ireland have it) these reviews were written by Americans and we generally expect more. The rooms my wife and two sons stayed in were just fine. The staff is outstanding (they arranged for me and my sons to shoot skeet at the castle) and the Pub was great… and if you’re luck enough to be there when an Irish wedding is taking place, crash it, you’ll likely have the night of your life!

Attended a christening dinner here. The sun room was lovely and a nice intimate space. Plenty of room for children and the playground was a big hit! The food and service was brilliant.

Hotel is decent from the outside and lobby is nice. Front desk staff was great. We ate dinner at Shannagan’s and it was okay. The appetizer and dessert were really good but our main course was marginal. We had to track down a waiter and waitress several times to place an order and check on our order as it was about 40 minutes after we placed it. We had to track someone down to get a drink reorder and our ticket. Our room was fair at best. Beds were pretty comfortable but the bathroom cleanliness was subpar. There was mold on the ceiling and on the bathroom tile. I hate leaving poor reviews, but this property needs quite a bit of updating and cleaning.

Staying at this estate was incredible. The staff was overly hospitable, professional, and courteous. The room we were in was very comfortable and recently renovated. The estate was beautifully maintained and great to walk about. They also offer great experiences such as falconry, row boats, bikes, archery, and more. We had nothing to complain of during our stay other than the short duration.

We stayed here as a part of our deal through Great Value Vacations. We weren't necessarily greeted pleasantly upon arrival — everyone at the inn seemed very busy and did not have time to talk with us about nearby things to do. It was off-putting to me because this was our first stop after we got off the plan in Ireland and made me feel sad that we weren't welcome. The bed in our room was also VERY uncomfortable. However, the grounds and the inn itself was beautiful. The Dromoland castle and golf course are also close by and very beautiful. The inn has a restaurant called Shannigans which was delicious and breakfast was delicious as well. Despite the unkind service and bed, we had a lovely stay at the Inn. We don't have kids but it also seemed very kid-friendly.

The service is outstanding and all staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast that is part of the stay is outstanding, our room is standard but clean and has everything we needed. The bonus is the beauty of the country and walking right to the castle!

Please get an alternative area for smokers other than the front door area. It's horrible to have to walk through smokers fumes heading into the hotel. Get them an area at a side door and discourage them from smoking at the front.

It was a nice room. But the shelves were very dusty. The swimming pool is great. The staff are very very nice. The arcade is fun. There is mini golf and a small playground at the side. Also there is tennis at the back. Altogether its a nice place. I reccomend you to go there. Remember this is my opinion. So… You probably wont have the same one.

Held launch night for Co. Clare Hunt Quakerstown point to point & Easter county festival in the hotel last evening. Venue, food, service, facilities etc. All excellent & helped ensure our night was a great success. Sincere thanks to Nico, Pauline, Martin & all staff involved.

Nice place but food still not amazing. Luch for 4 will come at 50€… you could stay in Ennis and get better for less.

Very delicious food. Each day they have different spatial but they are all wonderful. If they pay with Targeta, Haceguren we charge them in Euro.

Went away for a weekend with acuantences to this lovely hotel and everything was going great till we descended towards the bar. At this point we proceeded the have a few drinks. Enjoying ourselves we may have raised our volume slightly but as the bar was still crowded we found it unfair how we were continually asked to keep quiet and this put downer on our trip and is the reason for the loss in stars. Rob was fair sound though.

I recently stayed In your hotel for two nights. From the beginning all staff were extremely helpful and polite. We ate in shenningans bar on the first night the food was exceptional, massive portion size and extremely good value for money. We booked two twin rooms, both of which were spotless and very comfortable in which we received complimentary upgrade to a premium room. The hotel itself is a little dated but you do receive good value for money. The pool was lovely and warm with beautiful hot showers. Unfortunately my only negative we were based on the ground floor and The noise in corridors is quite loud and disturbing at night. I would definetly return but I would be requesting a higher level floor.

Fantastic hotel for the kids but apart from that there's not much else going for it. Don't get me wrong, the children love this hotel but personally I wouldn't stay here if u didn't have kids. There's a children's indoor and outdoor play area, crazy golf course, arcade, swimming pool and kids club/disco (although I think this might only be available during weekends or school holidays). Food is mediocre but staff are friendly. A lot of noise in the hallways during the night and morning with children messing so hard to get a good night sleep. Good place to bring the kids but not for a romantic night away.

Nice, but… Wife and I stayed for 2 nights mid-week. Room was clean and spacious. Staff were extremely polite and courteous. Breakfast was great with a standard hot selection of eggs, ham, sausage, potatoes, beans, mushrooms, etc. The Inn is nice and has several amenities that provide for many different people. There is a golf course on site if you happen to catch decent weather and feel so inclined. There is a huge playground and a game room filled with several arcade games. Seems to have a large focus on families — which we were not — hence the "but" in the title. We were roomed in a section along with several families of small children. I love kids, but when they are running down the hall at 11-12pm and we are trying to sleep so we can have an early start to our day, it makes it very difficult. It is a very large inn, so it would make more sense to room families by families and individuals/couples in another area. Only other real detriment was the shower. It was barely luke warm. While a cool shower in the summer can be refreshing, when we have had snow off and on for the past couple days, it really did not hit the spot. Albeit, I love a hot shower and not everyone does, that I understand — but my wife that likes cool showers even thought it was too cold. All that said, I would still give it another shot in the future, but would be sure to express on check in that we are early to bed, early to rise and would like to be roomed away from families if at all possible.

The restaurant has very good quality food, reasonable pricing. Great decor, always nice service.

Good solid food. Be clear with the waiters and the service will be fine. Nice rooms. Cosy teas by the fire.

Cannot speak of the price here as my stay was paid for by an outside party however I will say this place is a great place to unwind. Great facilities include the pool, gym, dining room, and pub/restaurant as well as golf parties. Bathrooms could definitely stand an upgrade as they are outdated, but this is common in European hotels from my experience. You definitely have to check out the golf course if your going to stay here though as that is definitely the main appeal.

Only complaint was the heat. No air con. Everything else great. Big rooms, good food brilliant staff.

The inn at dromoland is in a great location. The bar, food and staff are very good. The rooms however are very dated and could do with a freshen up. They didn't really seem all that clean but I believe that is just ware and tear. One upside to the room was it had 4 beds; 3 single beds and 1 double bed, it would be a great room for a family.

Located in a beautiful place near the folklore Park of Bunratty, interesting place, we loved.

The staff was attentive and very kind. The rooms and scenery were gorgeous. Staying in a castle is as wonderful as it sounds. They offer a spa and plenty of ways to relax as well as plenty of family activities if you'd like to be more active. Also a great golf course. Would definitely go again.

Hi visited for a family event. Reception nice and bright. Bar area a bit too dark for me. Finger food nice. Bar staff a bit slow allowing for the presence of a wedding party. The real disappoint came when several family members decided a meal would be nice before returning home. Staff pointedly ignored the requests ignoring the requests. A straight refusal would have been accepted perhaps an explanation that it wasn't possible to order food at 7pm. Your loss everyone left to eat elsewhere, where our business was welcome.

Set in a lovely area, the view are lovely. The staff were very helpful, and went far beyond the call of duty. The food was a delight to the eye and mouth. A must see. The hotel has a largr kids play area, crazy golf pool gym and more. I will go back.

Decent place. The breakfast was great, the staff was great, the room was nice and big. Pillows were awful. This place is extremely kid friendly. Too much so if you don't have kids with you. It was LOUD. Layout of the hotel was funky, with elevators a small trek from reception. Overall a good place.

The location is very cute. The terrain is Perfect. Need to finish The renovations.

I was excited upon walking in. The lobby and restaurant look very nice, but the hotel decor quickly deteriorates once you leave the front areas. =/ Hotel carpet generally creeps me out, but this hotel was in worse shape than most. We intended to eat at the restaurant, Shannigan's, I think it's called, but the overwhelmingly strong odor of fried foods and fish forced us back out to find other choices in Ennis. We only interacted with one staff member, a nice young lady at the check-in desk, and she was quite helpful. Thank you to her, but she alone can't salvage a hotel that seems to be riding on the coat tails of the apparently much nicer castle option on the property.

Eat here regularly in Shannigans bar. Food is excellent, service can be a little slow at peak times. Great for kids, as has a massive play area on site.

Cosy and warm from the soul, a little bit rustic. Beautiful and spacious rooms, irish pub directly in the hotel, cuisine, hotel good quality. There is not much to see in the area.

Perfect for a family stay. Sprawling complex with pool, mini-golf, soft play. Bar food was decent. Breakfast very poor value.

I liked the hotel to where we have stayed recently, great place to stay I'd give this building the thumbs up. The bedrooms were cleaned out everyday. This hotel is class in my view! it was my first experience in County Clare. The band were a Local from Co Wexford, and afterwards, there was a DJ on the night. Yes it ended late. But worth the stay in my view! My main concern: Is the Website. It is not secure and that may be bad for business of the hotel, I'd strongly suggest is to make their website more secure.

A really nice hotel but the hygiene notions are disgusting. There were stains on the bedspreads and sofas and blood stains were also on the "fresh" shower towels. Also the cutlery and the pots in the restaurant were not properly clean and probably the milk cans were not rinsed for weeks. If one is of spoil not appetite has let the food was but tasty. But I would stay there not again.

Our room was directly above a wedding reception, and there was music pounding into our room until 3:30 AM. At no stage were we warned that there would be an issue with this. I'm so annoyed and frustrated I'm writing this in the room before check-out. If I was at home I would have phoned the Police to deal with the noise levels involved. I have an important day ahead of me today and am suffering from lack of sleep and half madness after listening to a DJ set of techno from 1:30 to 3:30.

Excellent hotel but bad service.

Ideal for people who enjoy getting insulted. Lady manager was perfect for the adams family guest house, Hotel itself was nice but people running the place were disgraceful. I wouldnt book my dog into this place. Bar was a joke didnt even have heineken on draft. Did take too kindly to children. Bring your wife there if you want to spend the weekend fighting. Trying to anymore ways to stop people from going near this place. Find a nice caravan on the main rd close as you will enjoy it a million times more. Oh before I forget the bar counter was very clean.

Hotel is on a perfect location: beside motorway near dromoland castle (beautyful). Staff seemed friendly. Only stayed 1 night, but could hear the noise in the hall and in other rooms. With earplugs it's grand. Good price / quality.

The Inn at Dromoland was a very nice hotel. To look at! The rooms were nice but the service was in my opinion the worst service I and all the party I was with have ever encountered. We were there as a wedding party and had dinner booked for 7pm for 25 people. We were served in drips and drabs and then when the food finally arrived TWO and a half hours later it was cold and tiny, so not worth the cost! To add to this the bar staff did not have the ability to serve our party asking us all to wait 5 minutes. They knew we were coming, they should have been more prepared. Needless to say none of us will be staying there EVER again.

Being an Airline crew visited Lynch Clare Inn very frequently, marvelous landscape very friendly and caring staff calm, quiet soothing atmosphere worth visiting multiple times, you will add up years to your life span.
