⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐just back from a night in the Tower Hotel. Would highly recommend. Great value for money. Excellent staff a credit to the place. Dinner in Hobsons restaurant was amazing and a beautiful view. Will definitely be back again.

We really enjoyed our stay here this week. The hotel was lovely and clean. Well spaced with Covid rules and the staff where absolutely fantastic in every way. Rooms are lovely, bed very comfy. I would highly recommend the Tower Hotel we for one will most definitely be back!

I would like to thank all the team at the tower hotel for there amazing service to myself an jaime on our wedding day December 28th 2020. Would highly recommend the tower for events. Had my daughters confirmation in the upstairs restaurant. Our waiter Johnny was amazing he went above and beyond for us. Lovely hotel, brilliant location!. The staff could not have been nicer, credit to them given the difficult covid-19 situation at the moment!. All the guidelines being issued were adhered to in the hotel and although we unfortunately didn't get to see much of what Waterford has to offer we had a lovely relaxing couple of days away from the madness!

Had a Christmas get together with friends on Saturday night. The atmosphere was bright and lively in the bar and staff were efficient and friendly. We proceeded to Hobsons Restaurant where the service was second to none, choice of wine was great but the food was the star of the show. Three courses of heaven on a plate. Congratulations to the chef. It was very busy but the service still remained excellent. Attentive, friendly and obliging wait staff Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

We stayed here last night. Absolutely fabulous hotel receptionist was so nice and friendly. Lovely bar staff lovely atmosphere. Spotless clean and fabulous room. Unfortunately we only booked for one night but we will definitely be back. Highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed there last week, from the moment we arrived with our 2 kids, the staff were so nice to them, food was gorgeous, our kids had a great time in the swimming pool, rooms were spotless couldnt fault the place, will definelty be back xx.

Lovely breakfast, room was grand but bathroom needs refurbishment as it did not look clean. We experienced very bad noise in the room as downstairs was some party/wedding. Was impossible to sleep. Also restaurant was avarage, ordered medium rare steak and got very well done.

Room102 very disappointing dark even with lights very difficult, to read, also found it noisy on Friday night a boxing tournament was on, and a lot of people gathered below bedroom outside hotel smoking. The bathroom taps very difficult toturn on and even more difficult to turn off. As for the positive aspect the staff right across the board were excellent. Friendly, efficient a nd professional. The roomwas supposedly a Superior room. Which I find difficult to understand, perhaps when the Renovation are completed it will qualify as a Superior room. Thanks to you staff we enjoyed our stay.

Staff are excellent. Food in bar good and reasonably priced. Rooms small and dated window wouldn't close so very noisy with outside traffic. Also no air conditioning.

We had our special day here on 8/8/2018. I would like to thank Àine and Deirdre in events for making my vision come to light, months of planning had really paid off, I would like to thank Denis the events manager he went above and beyond for us and our guest. And all the staff at the hotel thank you. My wedding was magical it was everything we wanted from start to finish, I would highly recommend this venue to anyone for any occasion they made it as stress free as possible Thank you so much again Claire and Ricky Chandler.

Don’t know much about the rooms or the leisure center, but I did work in the restaurant for a short bit in the winter. Almost all the food comes from a tin can or a freezer bag. Any “sauce” comes from powder in a big plastic bucket. Nothing is fresh bar the fruit and is basically a ready meal microwaved and rearranged on your plate. Save your money and eat somewhere else. Better food won’t be difficult to find.

Just back from an overnight stay, evening meal was excellent and breakfast was very tasty with a great variety, rooms were a good size with a very comfy bed, nice touch to have a fan in the room, staff very polite especially in the restaurant and on reception, will definitely make a return visit!

I booked last minute and I still feel like I got a good deal. 75 Euro for one night free parking and a free breakfast. Great place to stay in Waterford. Close to shops and dining. Happy days.

Very disappointed with my stay last Saturday night, the 9th of June. The staff weren't over-friendly, we paid upon arrival before even seeing the room, eating in the hotel etc which I found strange as most other hotel you pay when checking out. We were on the 3rd floor and the heat was just cruel. So uncomfortable, found a fan in the wardrobe and it wouldn't work properly. The room was very small, box like and stuffy. The bathroom cabinet was falling apart, not clean and damp on walls and ceilings. I just expected more for €144.

Top food beautiful new extension on to the hotel lovely relaxing atmosphere helpful and friendly staff and all in all a great place to stay or just pop in for food or a drink all priced very reasonable also I found everything was very clean n tidy from the pool n spa to the reception to the rooms I will be going back.

It's a beautiful hotel right in the heart of Waterford city. Pleasant staff, good food and nice rooms, especially the family room which has two double beds and a single. Breakfast is one of the best that I have had and they cater for those who have intolerances. The Gluten free bread Is to die for. Over all a very pleasant experience.

Very nice hotel. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, really cheery atmosphere. They had no problem changing our room for us when we asked about a fan (two light sleepers hear the grass grow) the bar is lovely. The food in the restaurant was great. I stay in alot of hotels and have to say this one was really a great experience.

Great Hotel. Super service and wonderful atmosphere. Band called SuziQ played in the function room. Amazing sound.

Convenient location in Waterford with parking in the rear. They are in the midst of updating the hotel which are a bit dated. Rooms are quiet. Complimentary Breakfast was very nice.

Rooms were dated and cold and no constant hot water, no radiators in bathroom, swimming pool and area excellent but men's changing area is a joke and showers are terrible, overall if you book a good room I would recommend,

Went to the tower to celebrate st Patrick’s day went in after the parade at 2 spend all day their with the kids they had drinks and dinner send the kids home at 9 on my second pint as I waited till kids were gone to have a drink to be tolt I wasn’t been served any more I had enough by a manger foreign national guy he made a seen and made a show of us after spending all our money their all day for him to react like that totally disrespectful an unprofessional of him.

Friendly staff. Hotel currently being renovated but we were pleased with room. Had excellent view of Viking tower and harbor. Close to all. Good parking and nice breakfast.

Have just had one of the most fabulous weekends staying in the Tower hotel. My daughter was having her wedding reception on Friday here. Due to the "beast from the east" arriving Wednesday night wedding plans had to change. Bridal party family and friends checked in on Thursday. Ceremony and reception went ahead Friday. This happened thanks to the fantastic staff who could not do enough for us. Aine and Patrick went above and beyond for us. I can honestly say they pulled out all the stops.

Amazing hotel! Absolutely nothing wrong with it! I remember Brendan Grace stayed in a room across from mine when I was there. At breakfast, just before he left, he pulled a funny one and dashed out the door! Anyway, I don't see why this hotel isn't at least a 4-star. I highly recommended this hotel.

Loved my stay at the towers hotel. Due to a mix up with dates we arrived a day earlier than we had booked it was absolutely no problem the receptionist rebooked us in at exactly the same cheap rate we got on black friday. Had a swim in the pool and sauna. Great gym facilities. Will definitely be booking another short break in the future.

Stayed in room 242. Like going back in time. Room was beyond basic. 30+ year old everything bar the TV which was 20 years old. Mould all over the bathroom ceiling and could not get the shower to a reasonable temperature. Room was a 1 star experience. Extra star for nice, lobby, bar leisure centre.

I have stayed here by myself and with my wife on a few different business trips. The parking lot can be a pain to get a decent parking spot in and you have to remember to get the code from the desk each day. At least they have a parking lot though. Breakfast was average and the coffee was good. The dinner we found to be better, but a little pricey. The service was good and the front desk was helpful. The room wasn't small in my opinion and seemed about right for 1 or 2 people. The private Wi-Fi was nice to have. The location is good and you are close to the quay and Waterford Crystal.

Beautiful Hotel. Everything percent and staff were lovely. Only con was that the floor in room was creaky. But to be expected in old building.

Room was very cramped and way too warm. We did get an extra fan and had the heat 'turned off' but it stayed super hot in the room, even with the window open and both fans on high. Tiny room and tiny bathroom.

Two stars for location & decent room… way too loud, can hear street noise and even though on 3rd floor could hear people all the way down in the lobby in our room. We been on holiday, only come in contact with excellent service, until Tower Hotel, staff is not friendly or courteous. Very disappointed and would not recommend this hotel, if it wasn't so late in the evening to try to find a different hotel, I would have checked out & found a different hotel.

Very central and clean hotel in Waterford. Great location. Only marked down as the rooms are very warm, with no air conditioning.

The showers had low pressure, the service was fast though. I had a really good time. The staff are fun and they make you feel at home.

200 rooms but only 30 parking spaces behind the house … old, stinky, small rooms … a cot for 2 adults …
Water pressure in the shower does not exist … a cheekiness for paid money …

First time staying in the tower hotel myself and my partner stayed for 3 nights, the hotel is very clean and tidy were welcomed by lovely staff at the reception our rooms were nice and spacious.
The staff all over the hotel are very friendly and professional.
Great variety for breakfast, lunch and dinner everything was to profection great compliments to the chefs.
We booked afternoon tea with cocktails on one evening and was a wonderful treat the waiting staff were absolutely amazing from start to finish making sure we had everything the cocktails were lovely and the light sandwiches and assortments of desserts were so fresh and tasty.
The hotel was in close proximity to the bus station, shopping centres and the viking tours which we throughly enjoyed the leisure centre was great lovely pool and jacuzzi.
Will definitely be staying again.

Excellent hotel! Niall at the reception desk is among the most helpful, knowledgeable and down right agreeable members of hotel staff I have ever met! 10/10. It's a breath of fresh air to be greeted by such a caliber of such highly motivated and obviously very well trained personnel. I highly recommend this hotel. I travel around the country 90% of my work time and this is one of the best. I will be back!

Excellent location in Waterford city centre. Good breakfast. Decor tired and in need of refurbishment Room lacked air conditioning and window opened over smoking area, very noisy each night Thursday, Friday & Saturday.

Rooms very small. Corridors very narrow. Traffic outside went on all night. No air conditioning except for an electric fan so if you left the window open, you get no sleep. Food nice and staff are extremely helpful. I just felt the hotel needed updating. Pool and fitness available. Small car park at rear filled up quickly.

The room is nice. As in Europe small bed. No AC but there is a fan. Clean, nice location. The restaurant is exceptional.

Hi stayed here last Tuesday night 11th July enjoyed it however there were a few things was not happy about on arrival receptionist was not over helpful regarding kids club what kids menu was for that evening another staff member went and got me a menu he was! lovely unfortunately I never got his name, daughter cut her arm on broken tile getting out of the pool. My half portion of beef casserole was cold that evening could not return as no one was around apart from bar man and he was very busy serving drinks! Breakfast was fantastic and also Ryan who looked after kids s after kids club in the lounge kept checking on all the children!

Cannot recommend this place enough… the staff are exceptional… especially Vladimir, Jonas and Loic. Will definitely be going back…

Situated on the marina. Great location for exploring Waterford. Surrounded by many decent bars and restaurants. Friendly staff, bar in hotel, good sized rooms. Breakfast gone downhill last year or so regarding quality of food. Rooms can be very warm in summer and hotel can be very noisy. Decent leisure facilities but can be very busy during popular times. Very small car park but there is a pay and display within a few minutes walk.

This will be my 3th time in the tower hotel great staff good food good entertainment.

Nice hotel, polite helpful staff but just a couple of things they really need to improve 1, Gym needs to be updated 2, Shower is not good, low pressure and very little water.

Nice although rather sterile modern business-oriented hotel on the water — food is not too interesting, a few levels above wedding catering, and function rooms are often dramatically overheated to accommodate the elderly patrons. They do organize some pretty terrific special events though such as the trad music festival.

Good and lovely staffs. Really pleased, changed my room because my Wi-Fi didn't work. I am very pleased with the service, will definitely come back over and over again.

Visited the above hotel and stayed for 2 nights. Excellent service in all parts of the hotel, bar staff very friendly, food excellent as was the service. Location great, rooms very good. Facilities, leisure centre was excellent. Hotel also organised golf outings for us that went without a hitch. This is a very good place to stay. I am looking foward to return trip.

I just spent weekend in the Tower hotel and found the staff the best I met in a very long time. The food was excellent. Will go back again very soon.

Bar is noisy with staff throwing bottles into bin in bar! Goodness! Its sort of dangerous.

Myself and my husband chose The Tower hotel for a few days of a badly needed break and while we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the staff were extremely friendly and efficient, but I just have a couple of comments. When we arrived up to our room the first thing we saw was the mattress, which really was ready for the skip, there was a mound of mattress down whole left hand side from top to bottom and a dip in centre of mattress. Needless to say we got no sleep the first night. The following morning I reported it to receptionist and it was looked at and replaced immediately and we even received 2 miniature bottles of Baileys so thank you for that. The question I have though is how could this not have been noticed in the first place before we were allocated the room. We were booked in for 3 nights bed breakfast and evening meal, which I have to say was very nice but unfortunately while the food varied each night the vegetables did not, so we had turnip and parsnip mash (which I don't like) for each of the three nights. I would recommend this hotel as long as the issue of the vegetables was addressed.

A good "old" hotel that has excellent food and bar facilities. Room was good, possibly needing a refresh. I looked out over the roof of the reception are to say it needed cleaned is an understatement. Refreshingly the lift did not talk to me.
