Beautiful location with stunning views in the middle of rice fields. 👌😍 amazingly beautiful gardens. Buildings very romantic with lots of style but at the same time high quality finish. Pool area breathtaking. The 3 bedroom villa an absolute Heaven with private infinity pool, 3 terraces overlooking nature pure. The Restaurant building with a beautiful play area upstairs. Lots of Instagram like picture spots due to exceptionally stylish interiors and decorations and a unique natural surrounding. You can relax in tranquility or do many activities (hiking, spa, romantic dinners, etc. ) You will keep this place in memory forever.

While traveling in a hollow period we were the only guests of the hotel, and despite that the service was very good. Individual bungalow, in a very green and relaxing setting (in the countryside). The Spa is very good, the people who take care of you, very nice. Everybody's in a little care. Many activities are offered as an option (hiking, discovering the villages around, diving days…). The setting is really fabulous.

This hotel is amazing. What a great view! The food is also very good. We had two great massages at the spa. We had the bungalow closest to the swimmingpool and the restaurant. The rooms are very big and beautiful on both floors. We had two balconies with lounge furniture and one terrace all with amazing views. Everything you see in the rooms is for sale. Really nice stuff. I would definitely recommend Sanak Retreat to my friends and family ❤️

Magnificent hotel & spa offering two-storey bungalows overlooking rice crops.
Barely arrived in this majestic place, after having borrowed a chaotic path. The staff takes care of you. Offering a small local mixture accompanied by a refreshing wipe while your belongings are routed to your room.
The hotel offers various massages, at reasonable prices, in its centre set amidst the rice fields.
The restaurant suggests quality European and Balinese dishes, nevertheless for high prices for the region. However, it is necessary to clarify that you will have little choice as a place to sustain yourself given the "misplaced" place. Ideal location for hiking or to lose track of time.
In conclusion, the hotel has a small parking lot.

Amazing small cluster of villas in an exceptionally peaceful environment. Surrounded by rice fields, lush vegetation, coffee and cacao plantations. Perfect to relax and explore the local area. One of the most beautiful places to stay in the middle of the rice fields around Munduk. The view at 360 ° is exceptional. The restoration is excellent qualities. Wawan, the masseur is doing miracles.

Sanak took our breath away. Nestled between the hills and paddy fields, this is a paradise one must visit when in Bali. We are here for two nights and the staff are fabulous, food is great, villas are awesome, and the ambience is to cherish.
I'd happily recommend Sanak Retreat to anyone who loves nature, peace and amazing hospitality. Well done guys, you are great xx.

What a great place! Nestled into some rice paddies just outside of Munduk, this retreat is truly relaxing. It's been built with the locals in mind and apparently will be gifted to the local village once the philanthropist who built it has broken even on the investment. They've got only 11 bungalows which are made up of mostly one and two bedroom with only 1 three bedroom bungalow. The pool has a great view down the the rice paddies and the restaurant above it serves delicious food made from local ingredients. The staff however make this place, particularly Mr Gusti. He was a great help during our stay and always genuinely happy, the man's smile is huge and infectious!

It is a great place to stay and relax. Far from all the crazyness of Bali. The restaurant and the pool setting are perfect. The food is good. They offer a lot of activites. We recommend the local ones. We loved them.

Our favourite of the Honeymoon, the Sanak retreat is a blissful place to relax and transition from the Beach in north west Bali into the busy Ubud scene, we had only a couple of days there but their spa was excellent and their food was very nice! Staff was super friendly and professional they went the extra mile with flowers and a honeymoon cake ;)
