It was very good experience.

TGB is expensive but, my experience is extremely, amazing Hotels and luxurious rooms and foods.

The food was delicious and so was the ambience!

Value for money 🙌 Had awesome experience there.

One of the worst experiences of dining at Cafe Piano. The buffet is a very limited spread. Starters are limited and they serve you on the table and is not a part of the spread. You need to order again to get a plate and they take lot of time to serve. Maybe because of COVID the hotel has laid off the staff. Moreover no Covid norms are followed at the buffet. The social distancing goes for a toss. The waiters have their mask below their nose. Earlier TGB used to be so good. I visited after 4-5 years and disappointed that their quality has gone down so much. And they charge you almost 700 bucks for a plate. Utterly disastrous experience. Please do not visit.

This is in regard to my visit to Cafe Piano
This review is based on my past visit (dated 15/05/2019)
Some of the staff has become very rude.
Since this was not a formal dining place we were doing some work and there was a delay of 10-15 minutes to place the order.
The place was only 30% full.
They asked buffet or a-la-carte.
The moment we choose alacarte the waiter sulked a bit.
While looking through the menu I had accidentally kept my hand on the menu and was using my mobile. One of the waiter came and in rude way took away the menu and checked it Like it had damage. If anyone has been there recently, will notice how the menu is already in poor condition. There was no explanation or apology for this.
Till the time we placed our order 4-5 waiters kept hovering around our table and after that no one was around.
This happened to me during my third visit in a span of 1 month.
Earlier two experience were good.
The food was still good but when you’re paying so much then one expects good service and not to be treated as bad just because you took little extra time to order.
Upon highlighting the issue, there was no apology or even explanation and hence writing the issue publicly.
Never going there again
This is one of the very few places in the city which is open 24 hours.
They serve really amazing paneer variants.

Nice hotel but somehow the light setup seems very gloomy. There was a Business Networking Dinner, food was nice but somehow some new person was appointed in catering division where by mistake some fire breaks out and somehow was brought in control by senior attendants. Somehow the management seems lowsy in some part.

The service is just perfect. Perfectly welcomed and serves by the staff. Very friendly staff and responsible too. And even the cleanliness and ambiance is also good and sophisticated.

Good hotel, excellent for those visiting from other state and want liquor as the hotel have a legal liquor shop inside. You will find a lot of functions happening here. Parking is available in basement and in a nearby open plot. Bakery ahop available.

Decent hotel. Not one of the finest considering the room tarrifs. Its an old hotel which is only cashing on its name. There are many new hotels with much better amenities available at the same price point that this hotel offers. Nothing special. Can look for better options.

Been here twice. Centrally located, eateries and malls nearby. It's a hotel and an exam centre too. Well behaved staff and security personnel.

The fine dining restaurant is a delight, price is justified for the well crafted food. The Punjabi food along with Mexican starters are a must try. The paan shots at the end were refreshing. The cafe piano is also equally good.

This Hotel is located at SG Highway so it's very convenient to reach. They have a Sunday Brunch which has good food but less optiond compared to Barbecue Nation. The best part is live Piano music. Also, must try their Bakery items.

Best location — on highway place. Also well-known for its different cuisine and grand ambience. It has a cake shop on the 1st floor where you can buy and eat cake and snacks.

This place is a proper 3 star hotel and has competitive pricing. Vegetarians might prefer this place even more as none of the kitchens on the property cook non-vegetarian food. I have stayed here many times and I've never been let down by the service. The waiting area is good enough for quick meetings. Complimentary breakfast is good. Roomkeys tend to expire too quickly.

The food is awesome in quality and the main advantage is they are open 24x7. You will always find a decent crowd at TGB. Good ambience at night. The most important thing, you will love live piano there. Lovely!

Hosted brothers wedding at this place. Over all very nice place. Good service, nice food. Large space, banquet hall. Would definitely recommend the place for hosting any major event.

24/7 coffee shop is a the best option with family and friends. Helpful staff. Rooftop shack style restaurant dhooan is a good place to unwind in the evenings. Nice outdoor atmosphere to hang out. Ambience is cozy and the food is good. Staff is courteous and the service is quick. All in all a good place to spend quality time. Great experience!

It's on SG Highway, parking is not an issue, they have a parking plot besides the hotel. The rooms are good and spacious. Food was reasonable in terms of quality, quantity and priced as you would expect in a good hotel. Overall experience was good.

The hotel ambience and staff were good… The food was also delicious. But I'm disappointed bit when I ask for basic medicine (paracetamol) … They did arranged for me… But I think they should have basic medicines for medical emergencies… Otherwise everything was good…

The food was really nice including the hospitality. As the day was 31st December, too much of public rush but still they managed to handle it well and nicely. Best place for events and functions and dinner too.

Upon entering the room you get the feeling that it is tottaly worth the price… The bed is pretty comfertable… Staff members are very helpful… Tea is really good so do take it whenever you want… Room was fully clean… The only reason I deduct one star was because handles in bathroom easily broke and had to fit them to use it… Other than that I fully recommend this place… Also keep in mind that hotel is in 3rd floor and the sign board is not easily visible so trust your maps on it…

The Grand Bhagwati serves one of the best vegetarian buffet in any of their events, they use beautiful tapestry and floral decoration. My sister's wedding took place at their ballroom. It apparently is one of the biggest pillar-less ballrooms in the city. The hospitality and service is good too.

One of the good hotels in Ahmedabad. They are famous for it's bakery's too. They do have a bar here. I had buffer lunch here and it was awesome. Loved the starters and the desserts. It was mouth watering lunch. Lot's of items available to eat includes North Indian, Mexican, Italian, etc. It was one of the best buffet lunch I had in Ahmedabad. They do offer midnight dinner which I would like to have when I get chance. Service was outstanding and food quality was great.

Visited the hotel for attending a wedding party which was in one of the banquet halls. The taste of the food was just amazing and there is nothing to complain about the taste of the food. The ambience was also beautiful, but in some places the hall seems to be working out a bit due to aging. Apart from that splendid experience.

A casual place. Reay takes time for the order to be serverd. Cost too is on a higher side. Food is decent but not so great that it will mark an impression.

I had to stay there due to renovation work going at my home in June. No one offered to pick luggage till room. There were no milk powder packets, no toothpaste in room, though same were provided immediately upon asking. The food was very average in taste. The worst part was that since rooms are located directly above their 24 hour Cafe, there was constant disturbance throughout the night. Rooms were spacious and clean. Would definitely not prefer going here again, considering the price.

Simply went to eat The Sizzling Hot Brownie at their Cafe Piano. The taste hasn't changed even a bit in these many years yet. Still tastes extremely wonderful. Wonderful ambience and an extremely talented pianist added to a really soothing experience.

One of the best place for function in banquet. Restaurant and cafe is really awesome. Superb ambience. Food served is mild and suitable for higher class people. You cannot find spicy food like streets or other normal restaurants.

I like the number of varieties of starters and appetisers and most of sweet dishes presentation… especially baked badam malai roti bengali dish… I previously enjoyed the patang hotel food thern I underatand mostly foreigners and high profile people comes here so maintain their taste the food is not so spicy and chatakedar… but inspite of roti sabji there is a lot of variety to enjoy.

The quality is detriorated. The worst part was we werent welcomed. There was no staff to attend our order. We had to call for staff. The way they served the cutlery was lyk they dint wanted us to be there… hell lot of wait time after ordering food. We ordered verdure pizza. The explanation in menu was 3 peppers, olives, sundried tomatoes and carameled onions. Ol v got on pizza was carameled onion and olvies. We were tryin to figure out where r peppers n tomatoes. On mentioning this to staff. The staff pointed on olives saying sundried tomatoes. They changed it as if it was an obligation. Thn the staff comes and says thers no sundried tomato. It was really disappointing to visit cafe pianno. I dont knw if the management is trying to save money or something.

For mr and mrs. Somani restaurant : "very slow and pathetic" service, no class in food will never recommend anyone. It was my first or may be last experience at TGB.

I came here after 1 and half year having their best service and food in mind. But sadly, this time I am so upset with the staff, management and apparently food also. TGB Ahmedabad has deteriorated it's level. They need to hire more staff and educated staff (who atleast knows how to be courteous) : (: (

The food is tasty and the ambience is cozy. What more could you ask for in a restaurant. Yes, they do have other facilities, which I have yet to utilize, so cannot comment on that.

Horrible experience, bathroom was all broken, room telephone didnt work either… bad property I dont know why its classified as 4 star hotel. Not at all recommending for anybody.

I was looking forward to stay here last month and when I tried booked it online, I didn't received any confirmation. So to make sure it didn't went through I called the Hotel and confirmed there was no booking made. But after few days they still charged me on my credit card saying the booking was made and I didn't showed up. I tried explaining to them but they were not ready to listen or revert back the payment. The manager was extremely rude and unprofessional, all they care about is charging customers in a wrong way. Hate it. Will never go there again and won't recommend to anyone.

Most favourite place for midnight buffet when almost everything is closed in Ahmedabad. Cafe piano is the reason I have been here numerous time. Food quality is awesome. Service is great.

Hotel ambiance is very good, rooms though small are decent and lots of aminites are there. However, problem lies elsewhere (1) The tariff published on internet through their own website is NOT RESPECTED BECAUSE THE "TAXES" ARE 13.4 % of tariff. They manipulate money to be paid by the customers by changing the full tariff. In my case, all my quotations were for 6800 rs for 2 days from 14-15 August 2014, so 13.4 % taxes would come to Rs 911 but they charged 1300 Rs as taxes maintaining that taxes apply on full tariff 12000 rS and not on discounted rates of 6800 Rs. NOTE THAT NOWHERE IN QUOTATION RECEIVED BY ME AND PAYMENT MADE BY CREDIT CARD this figure of 12000 mentioned as tariff and on whicvh discount is given! So I ended up paying about 400 rs over and above what was payable ac cording to their quotation. (2) Secondly, their rooftop Banquet lounge has very very music going on till late in night and the loud sound penetrates hotel rooms making it impossible to sleep till music stops. The staff apologize profusely but there the matter ends. So to end hotel is very good if one is prepared to overlook some extra money being extracted from you and if you are able to put up with loud music because, the concert are going on at lounge almost daily.

Waited at the table for 15 min and had to ask for menu. Then waited for 20 min and had to get up and call someone to take order. Food is acceptable but service sucks. May be if was because we were there after midnight, but there is no excuse for such delays.
