The food was very good and so was the service.
The building is 150 years old and has a lot of nice furniture from the portugise time and situated in the old portugise part of Panjim.

The owners have refurbished / retained / procured furnishing to Portuguese Glory era. Fantastic ambience to explore and enjoy. Very friendly and helpful staff.
It is bang in the centre making access to historical parts and beaches easy.
Walking distance to town centre.

An absolute gem. Everything about the place is perfect. The staff are friendly and relaxed. The breakfast (served in the main building) is an abundant banquet with plenty of vegan and vegetarian dishes. The architecture of all three buildings the make up the complex is stunning, truly a heritage site. Outstanding features are: the complimentary toiletries, the fully functioning ceiling fan and A/C, the cleanliness, the comfort of the beds and the storage space.

An elegant and eye catching baroque mansion built in the early 1800s, WelcomHeritage Panjim Peoples was till recently home to the Peoples High School, Goa’s premier English educational institution and alma mater to many of the state’s prominent citizens. Opposite the Panjim Inn and prominently visible as you stroll down 31st January Road, it is now a Heritage Hotel and houses the inhouse Art Gallery Gitanjali. Painstaking restoration of the building has brought back some of its original grandeur and helped recapture the nostalgia, poignance and aura of the romantic Past. Close your eyes and imagine that modern day cars and rickshaws no longer exist and you can go back to a Romantic era of old world elegance, of horse drawn carriages, of ladies in voluminous skirts and gentlemen in three piece suits who the heat and dust notwithstanding would have curtseyed or doffed their hats to each other before moving on.

Goa tour would have been incomplete without a stay in Panjim Inn. This vintage heritage hotel with archaic furnishings give you a feeling of old Goa and the Portugese colonial era. Therooms are cozy with all amenities. The staffs are cordial. On arrival a complimentary head massage at their in house M-Spa is offered and while signing off a small token of remembrance is given to the guests. The complimentary breakfast is sumptuous and lip smacking. Would love to be back again!

Well preserved heritage house converted into a hotel. A unique stay but felt it was well overpriced. Breakfast was a good selection of traditional Indian and western foods. Well located for visiting the old town however it was a noisy/smelly as our room position was next to the main road/ river.

A heritage boutique hotel in Goa's must visit Heritage Walk — Mala. Hotel is equipped with a nice restaurant cum bar, SPA, adjoining Art Gallery. Place is usually booked year round with mix of foreign and Indian tourist. Price wise, it is a mid to premium hotel.
