I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. This was the worst hotel I have ever seen.
Services were poor. They spoiled our whole one day in allotting a room. We got rooms at 5 pm whereas the check in time was 2 pm. Moreover they never answerd our phone calls. They did not have housekeeping staff. Only one person was into cleaning and that too was cleaning the floors with hands.
I don’t have words to describe their low standard they had shown.

Had a great time with Novotel. My stay was wonderful restaurant staff were helpful. Special thanks to Akshata from reception, Akshay from reservations and all waiting staff at resturant… would love to come back soon.

Perfect place to unwind! While my visit was an corporate one, but it was just like the vacation I needed! I got a room overlooking the pool. The rooms were clean and well maintained spic and span bathroom and the housekeeping service was impeccable. Bed was comfortable.
Whatever I got, was of great quality. The balcony made it perfect for us to laze around. I am definitely recommending this property to anyone who visits Goa!

Good location, good rooms, good breakfast and a different pool Aug last week: We visit Goa every year and this year it was North Goa. The property is on the main road and all the food and nightlife is nearby. The rooms are not small and not big but one doesn't feel lack of space. We had a small balcony as well though the view was nothing — next building. Breakfast is at the square. The spread is quite good and offers a lot of variety. On all 3 days, the service was always good and that includes the weekend as well. The staff was really good. The quality of food was also good. There are 2 pools here — one the normal hotel pool — 4.5 ft depth. The other one is made to feel as if you on the beach. White coloured bottom and sliding into the water plus rocks on one side with small water falls. On the downside, the hotel wanted a deposit of Rs. 2000 to cover in-room dining or any consumption of services at the hotel. I don't remember any other hotel doing it — and I have been visiting Goa every year since 2010. Also, since my booking was done on a travel portal, they informed me that I will not get any points — which is again very surprising as none of the other hotel chains have that kind of policy. Even my official stays are done through a travel portal and I do get points. So, don't understand the rationale.

I came for breakfast must thanks for the grand breakfast and also appreciate staff service. The menu was so grand that it was fun to have variety of dishes. It was a wonderful experience. The breakfast at the hotel was mouth watering. I loved everything. I cannot wait to be here again to have breakfast in my future trips.

I came to the hotel's restaurant with my friends. I must say the breakfast was wonderful. Menu was very vast and attractive. Menu consists many of my favorite dishes though. Next time I'll be there with my family and recommend others also to have food at the novotel shrem, goa

Nice hotel with good hospitality, rooms are very clean, bathrooms are also very clean. The staff are warm, friendly and very sociable. The breakfast spread is huge and caters to all nationalities, and the pool is possibly the best feature of this resort. The entire off lobby is so excellent and very nice and clean. I love your room experience. The total room clean every time morning and evening. The staff was very impressive and very helpful. Thanks each and every staff who are tacking care of my stay. Overall it's a must go place for leisure and relaxation.

Terrible customer service — We don’t care attitude — Inexperienced staff — Disgusting food quality — No clarity on their “My Glass” drinks package. To expand: 1) My wife was served a chicken dish we paid for undercooked, the blood could clearly be seen and we were serving it to our 2 year old. The guy said no refund could be offered. Just another replacement meal. I have photos of Undercooked chicken if anyone would like to see what food you may get. 2) My nephew was refused a soft drink despite us paying for “My Glass drinks package. When we complained at the reception, the lady Susain claiming to be manager was very rude to my brother, wouldn’t accept the fault — no apologies from her whatsoever. 3) No soft drinks with Rs 1700 per person buffet. Very cheap ways of making money. 4) There’s a toy boat and ball in the swimming pool — Chargeable. As soon as the kid will touch it, the guy will come running shouting — ohh it’s chargeable — money money. Not what you expect from this category of hotel. 5) The staff is not trained properly. Everything is so confusing. I have stayed in Novotels back home in the UK and France — they both were great. Novotel Shrem Goa is bringing shame on the brand. I would rather pick up dog poo without gloves than staying in this hotel again. Summary — Do not stay here and look somewhere decent.

We stayed in this property in June 2018. Great location as situated bang on the Candolim Road, Bardez, GOA. Nicely maintained property with excellent design. Reception is grand and they have sufficient staff to handle huge crowed at a time. Check in check out facility is quick. Parking facility at hotel. One should stay at newly constructed rooms at the back side of the hotel with pool view. Rooms are designed beautifully. Welcome drink and goodies in room at check in was excellent (see attached pic). They run shuttle service if you want to visit nearby beaches. Candolim beach is at walking distance @ around 800 meters. Breakfast had nice variety of options. I would give five star for everything.

It was just near perfect stay. Clean and neat room with all amenities as shown in website. Staff at the entrance are one of the best I have seen. Breakfast was very good. Lunch/ dinner can be better. Overall wonderful experience.

Enjoyed my stay in the hotel, helpful and courteous reception staff. The lobby was grand, but was very warm with no air conditioning. Reception staff were also made to work in such warm conditions without a chair to sit, management please pay attention. Food was good, however very heavy rush witnessed during morning breakfast hours, many a times table was not available and things went hay wire sometimes during morning hours.

Nice hotel infrastructure with comfortable rooms. The staff is well trained but ill equipped to carry out the work. Either the hotel is short staffed or does not care. The guests have to wait or follow up both for room amenities and services in restaurant. Buffet layout is quite elaborate and varied options are available. The food in buffet tastes good but with almost same taste every day. Only the name changes, taste remains same.

Clean and comfortable. The room was clean. Breakfasts are here for every taste, you can choose both in the style of Indian cuisine something, and the usual porridge with nuts, for example. Near two beaches: Candolim and Calangute.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The location of the hotel is one major important thing. The room was very nice, neat and bathroom area was clean. Booked rooms 1317 (SUITE), 1318 (EXECUTIVE ROOM) @ Novotel Shrem. Overall room decor in both suite and executive room were tidy, clean. Later we realized bathroom sink in 1318 had a choke and was overflowing, after calling house cleaning who used a plunger to try to fix, unfortunatley the entire trip we couldnt use the sink since HOUSEKEEPING were not were eager to tend to the issue and rather ignore it. 1317 the grand suit had its own share of issues like leak in toilet fixture in the upper bathroom broken, causing all the waste water to drain out in upper second floor bathroom. Next the shower button in 1317 seemed to be broken. On the bright side buffet breakfast was nice, downstairs open pool 4 feet deep with a mini fall was well planned ADVICE : Please check all bathroom fixtures before accepting the room.

Great place to stay in Candolim. Walkable to Candolim beach and you can rent a bike right outside of the hotel. Baga and Calangute beaches are around 5-6KM from the hotel, and Fort Aguada is around 7-8KM.
