Absolute pollution free air with excellent greeneries, pool and lake front place. You can't ask for more. The entire surroundings one will fall in love at first sight! And especially when it drizzles! But facilities inside the room is abysmal. There is no basic facilities like electric kettle, tea, coffee & milk sachets. They charge for electric kettle @ Rs. 50 per day!

Beautiful experience. Loved very much. Resort has big dinning area. Food quality is good. Rooms cleaning is good. Facilities are more better than we paid. It has two swimming pools. Both are neatly clean and water is fresh. Kids room also good.

Fantastic property with two lakes inside the property. Very old heritage buildings with antique design and architecture. Rooms are quite spacious with AC, television and refrigerator. Facilities like pool, bar, Wi-Fi, gym, spa, saloon and indoor games like pool table, chess and table tennis are also available.

One of the oldest n good resort in goa. Lake inside a property is main attraction. Rooms are big compared to other resorts. Overall good and cooperative staff. They don't have parking space within resort. We have park outside the resort. Restaurant is below average.

Its a great resort if you want to be in Goa but still want peace of mind. The rooms are pretty basic but clean and spacious. Food options are limited outside normal lunch and dinner timings. Resort doesn't allow ordering food from outside. That's wrong Bec room service food menu is extremely limited. That needs to be looked into by the management. Breakfast menu for the 3 days we stayed wasn't that great but you shouldn't expect a five star spread here. The resort has two lakes inside the property. That adds charm to its overall look. The only problem that we faced was with the AC. The AC units in the rooms on the far section are very old and simply don't work. So if you getting a room in this section ensure that the AC in your room is working properly. Or else get a different room. Otherwise it's a great, affordable and peaceful place to stay in Arpora.

This is one of my favourite resorts! I love staying here because of the peace and tranquility it offers. The resort has 2 lakes and 2 swimming pools. It's a huge property and you can spend a peaceful and relaxing time while staying here. It's also convenient due to its proximity to Baga beach. The only problem is that every time I've visited this place we've faced an issue with the AC and that's something they've not been able to fix over the years. Despite of that I keep going back purely for the location!

Brilliant place. My first time I'm staying here for one night. Love the ambiance as it is quiet peaceful and has all the amenities. Definitely recommend this to others next time. I know someone called Gianna whose mother's brother owns the hotel.

Beautiful property in Goa. Largest hotel with beautiful lake. Location is so beautiful and relaxing. 5 star for beautiful lake. Rooms and food is average though.

Most beautiful as well as biggest resort in Goa. The location is perfect in the main road. Everything is near by. Baga beach is two km away. Rooms although basic are spotless with all the amenities… like hot water, flat TV, Aircon, fridge filled with beer and water. Breakfast is served in a huge area which was good. Swimming pools are very clean. Will definitely return.

I stayed there for 5 days, breakfast was included, breakfast was tasty included everything from tea, coffee, juice, sandwiches, and omelette was really good, I still miss it. Staffs were friendly. The location of this resort is so good that the first day of our stay we took a walk to baga beach, we didn’t required to hire the motorcycle for the first day. They have their own bar and personal lake. I enjoyed swimming pool. Once we also had paid lunch and trust me food was so good, specially the egg biryani.

It has a good quality of food with a speciality over fishes. They have very good maintenance services and also a huge swimming pool. The design of their rooms is also very different and this attracted many other tourists.

One of the best stay in North Goa… The resort itself has all attractions that let's you enjoy your visit… Best ambience, well maintained property n cordial staff… All at affordable rate.

Great value for money Pros: Huge resort area. I am a photography enthusiast and was taken by sweet surprise to see a photo perfect resort. Rooms are ok, neatly maintained and clean. Morning complimentary breakfast was ok. Open car parking available. Cons: Room and bathroom needs some modernization. Staff was not professional and courteous. I felt a difference in attitude and treatment between a foreign guest and an Indian guest.

Nice and spacious resort with two neat and clean swimming pool, big pond. Rooms are quite spacious too. Very near to Baga and Calungate. They don't have variety in breakfast but their food served in dinner and lunch is good.

Lovely hotel with cool grounds and great staff. Cleaned every day. I had to explain that it is not necessary to clean every day. I asked only to replenish the mini bar-water and coke, beer almost did not drink. Breakfast is very good 3-4 main course + omelette. Toasted jams. Free fishing for guests. Just take the gear with you, I did. Remoteness from the sea is not a problem. From the first day we rented a bike in front of the hotel.

Solid 3 stars, European level, visitors are mostly foreigners from Europe. Minus, the location of the hotel Bug Beach is very much local.

Very nice hotel. The best we have seen in Goa. The room was clean, the breakfast was very good and the room was very comfortable.

Hotel is great for us. Staff are brilliant, they cannot do enough for you and they so polite.

Great hotel. Whilst our shuttle dumping people en route to Marinhe we horrified the state of the hotels but arriving at our we were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and grooming. The rooms are clean, the linen is white, the room has 2 fans under the ceiling, air con and fridge which is a mini bar, the bathroom is clean and in excellent condition. We were upgraded to a nice room at once, but they say that there are rooms where the bathroom is worse. The food in the hotel is excellent and we did not miss the breakfasts. Breakfast always has juices, cereals, toast, our favorite and delicious omelette, also there were positions that changed every day. The staff is friendly and friendly. Rooms are cleaned every day. This was our first visit to the state of Goa and we were preparing for the conditions much worse and turned out very well. Of the minuses can only that in one place on the ceiling swelled paint, but it is a small detail.

Awesome Property. Best was evening dinner and party organized by them. So if you travelling with baby and you cant go to clubs this is the best place to have family time.

One of the best places we have lived in Goa. We couldn't explore the swimming pool or tennis courts much. We were accompanied with our pet. The best part is that the hotel was pet friendly. Jain food is also offered here. Rooms are of the best quality you'll find in Goa. Highly recommended.

Awesome place… vast property spread across few acres… private lake, 2 swimming pools, children play area, huge garden and lawns, nice rooms and ambience, polite staff, bars, restaurants and much more… I highly recommend this place… go ahead first time go ers… you'll enjoy…

I stayed twice in this hotel n my experiences were awesome. Breakfast buffet was decent, nice view of lake n pools from balcony of ur room. Staff ppl were polite, kind n helpful. Rooms were being cleaned everyday. In short amazing facilities in decent amount. Value fr money.

Spacious and clean room, staff are really helpful with decent buffet for breakfast. It has two swimming pool which are maintained properly.

A beautiful resort with amazing views of the lake from the rooms. Swimming pool is neat and clean and the bar next to the pool is amazing with a great choice of cocktails and other drinks. Service is good and location is convenient to reach all the popular beaches. We stayed in a private vacation home located in the resort with access to all facilities of the resort.

Resorte Marinha Dourada is a nice place but food & its quality is below standards. Restaurant area is old types & non AC. Furniture in restaurant is very old & in very bad shape. Restaurant area looks like a roadside dhaba. Restaurant staff is non co operative, specially restaurant manager Mr Ashok, he is not at all courteous. Electric cattle is not available in rooms & if you want one then you have to pay for it. Overall had a bad experience there. Don"t want to visit again & will never recommend anybody for this place.

Nice place approximately 2 km far from Bagha Beach, if you are going first time to this place Pls ask to resort management for booking your room in front of swimming pool or nearby reception only… Property is old and too big if you get room in front of Lake side ur maximum time will wast in walking between room to restaurants, swimming pool and main entrance of resort. There is no kettle in room, bed and blanket is very small if you have one kid (age 3 years minimum) you can't sleep on bed even you have to take a bedding extra (costing Rs 800/ — per night approx) pool is good.

Rooms are not as good as they appear in images. Food is ok and lake view is good.

Everything is just ok, nothing wow. Very average resort rooms are like a lodge. Food is bad the breakfast they serve is below average and has just 3 to 4 items.

Good place to stay when you are at goa. Hotel is good and environment is also wonderful. They also provide small bar in the room as well as, mini bar out side of rooms. They are having swimming pool spa and boating. Everything is there at Marinha Douranda Reaort. It is located at very peaceful location. U ll love to b at this place!

Decent resort with okayish but a bit old rooms… pool is clean and beautiful view of two lakes. Breakfast and food ordinary. Staff very helpful.

Stayed here as a wedding guest. It's really clean, green and has a nice walking trail along two artificial lakes. I had a room with a good view. The complimentary breakfast was good but not a large spread. The car parking is outside the resort and that can be improved.

Great hotel, quiet and peaceful. Cozy rooms, 2 small pools, a sick and beautiful area with two lakes.

Beautiful place. Amazing spacious rooms. They have two lakes within the property. Two freaking lakes. It's just beautiful. And you can walk around the lakes, they've even made shaded benches to sit around the lake. I went there for a wedding so I really can't comment about the service but the staff did seem very hospitable. Must visit. There is also a bike rental right outside the hotel in case you want a ride for Goa.

A place for active people who ride a moped/motorbike, to the nearest beach more than a kilometer, otherwise the experience is great for India 3 *. We had 3 floors, no animals in the room were observed!

Excellent hotel for lovers to enjoy a great peaceful views from the balcony. The rooms are quite good, ants in the soul apparently arrange get-togethers in the evenings but it is complements the whole colorful, too! )

Had a rest in 2013. An excellent hotel.

Rested there in November 2014. The hotel is decent, the staff each day after breakfast, we changed the bed linen and towels. Breakfast varied and rich, ranging from scrambled eggs with toast ending local soups-mashed potatoes and Masala) ) ) ) in the evenings, small concerts and performances as live entertainment! The beach is 2 kilometers by foot, 5th, but a free shuttle around 1 times per hour! In General, we rented a scooter and went to bathe in the Čaporu at Vagator Beach, a beautiful tranquil place with lack of annoying hucksters! I would like to visit other places of this beautiful and mysterious India!

Nice, well maintained resort. Only big issue is parking place for bike and cars. Security is standing 24/7 on entry gate. When is stolen bike 3 meters away them, they dont see that. Management dont help you, cameras missing there, only advice take taxi and go to police station. Up to three urgencies not replay from security night shift. Really bad experience and comunication with hotel management.

Went in January 2014 for 14 nights — basic (very) clean room with aircon, couldn't fault it. Drinks fridge in room is fully stocked and the prices are the same as the bar — extremely cheap, and never watered down. Absolutely brilliant hotel, lovely and peaceful. Friendly staff, lovely walks around the lake. Just around the corner (5 minutes) from Maccies Market. No noise or any other disturbance at any time. Met many couples that go there year after year — I intend to do the same. B&B only, but with so many amazing places to eat nearby, all inclusive hotels are just a waste of money. No problems with mosquitos, even though the lakes are next to the hotel, but always advise the use of Odomoss (local insect repellent cream) at night and 3 weeks of garlic tablets before you travel. Didn't get bitten at all. Can't wait to go back!

We stayed here in March 2013. It's really a good place to be. It has most of the things that you need to have a perfect holiday. Clean rooms with AC, and other basic amenities, Swiming pools, Nice Breakfast and good campus. We were two families and had kids of age under 3 years but they enjoyed a lot too. Food was also good, room service was prompt. The quality of TV set and remote etc was not great but we dont use it on holidays anyway so we did not bother about that. The Aarpora saturday market is like walking distance which is perfect too. Only disadvantage I could notice is that its not close to the beach and if you want to take a dive in teh sea and get fresh immediately after you come out, it was not possible. Overall a very good place and reasonable on your pocket to stay in GOA.

An excellent hotel. Vacationing with girlfriend in December, really liked it. Staff helpful. Wirral. The room we had gotten great, probably the only one without a balcony but with veranda and two meters from the pool. We will go again and in the same hotel.
