Very good place near beach. At low price.

It is what it says a shack on the brach = shack — bar/restaurant —. Beach — sea. Staff friendly, food average, inexpensive place to stay.

Was meant to stay there a week as a friend recommended it, but soon as I arrived nothing was ready. The owner a short fat pathetic man was loud and rude, he was quite racist towards Brits, though he is stupidly passing himself as a Portuguese. He even accused me of being on drugs as I couldn't wait any longer and left. I found a better place and also lodged a FIR at Colva Police Station for racist remarks and aggression. Hopefully this place won't exists much longer and the fat owner will be no doubt given a job in Lisbon, after all he is Portuguese and doesn't like living in the Republic of India. Hope the police takes action soon. Don't stay at this disgusting horrid place, even if you are desperate, there are many better, cheaper and cleaner places heading up along the beach. Save your money and yourselfs. The owner is under investigation.

In my personal opinion, one must steer clear from this place. The owner's attitude is really bad towards the guests. Also, the huts are very poorly built and does not even have most of the basic stuff you need. There are other cheaper places to stay in southern goa and they are far better places than this one. Also, if you're looking for having some fun parties and stuff, this place is in the southern goa, where not a lot of parties and fun stuff happen. You should stay somewhere near Baga beach or anjuna beach if you're looking forward to having some real fun.

Castellos coco huts is best place to stay in colva. Amazing experience.

Very basic accommodation on the beach. Great for stags on a strict budget.

Amazing and cheap. Mr Castello is a bit of an acquired taste but he's fun to hang with. Huts are right on the beach and once again CHEAP! The bar/restaurant in front of the huts is excellent.

Reading the owners response to some of the more negative reviews. I would steer clear. He sounds terrifying.

Cheapest beach front shacks in Benaulim. Clean attached toilet with 24hr hot water. Free use of fridge and there's a TV where everyone can watch and Wi-Fi is fast. Real peace and quiet.

Ok place for single people on budget. Beware of owner. He is little senti about his property.

Absolutely agree with the review that the owner is the worst person you can find in India. He is loud, extremely aggressive and he threatened me with physical violence when I proposed that I could stay longer if he facilitated me one of the bicycles just sitting there without anyone using them. He went into a rage, he said "you are not the boss, I am the boss and I can turn you into a beggar" He is filthy and obnoxious, he urinates all around the property, I saw him doing it twice, instead of using the public toilet right there. Stay away, don't risk your personal safety dealing with a psychopath.

Affordable accommodation. Good peaceful atmosphere.
