Nice and cozy property at the heart of white town with very courteous staff. 3-4 min walk to rock beach promenade. But make sure you get a room far from kitchen, our experience got spoilt because we shared a wall with the kitchen and had to wake up to utensils clanking at 6am everyday.

This hotel is in a very good position being excellent for the French part of town and the sea front. There are many good places to eat round about. We had a problem on our first night but were able to move immediately to another room. We also wanted to book two more nights but they were fully booked. They couldn’t have been more helpful and organised a room in another hotel for us, took us there in a auto rickshaw, and made sure we were happy. We have now been able to return to La Maison for a final night. Breakfast is individually cooked for each person to your requirements. Rooms are immaculately clean.

We stayed for 5N/6D and loved this place … Although it's a guest house, but felt like our 2nd home. Great location on Bussy Street, opposite to famous De Bussy Restaurant (as a landmark). Well maintained excellent room, AC worked fine, all basic amenities available, clean bathroom with hot water & shower facilities, spic & span premises… All caring & helpful staff … The Manager Ms Rajalakshmi takes special care to keep the rooms & the premises absolutely clean. I will give 10/10 on cleanliness… Loved the complimentary South — Indian breakfast … crispy vada, nice dosa, sambar and hot coffee… ☕ Very near to Rock Beach… just 5 mins walk… Heritage Town area (French Colony) & The Promenade, just near by … Very close to Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Raj Nivas & Bharathi Park… Best restaurants are all near by … Very good free Wi — fi signal inside the room and throughout the premises. Autorickshaw stand near by… Tea stall, medicine shop, stationary items, all near by … Airport pick up & drop facility available from the guest house… Fabulous guest house… Amazing staff … Good breakfast … Highly recommended if looking for a great peaceful holidays @ Pondicherry!

Amazing staff! Lovely rooms. And a cozy place to spend your time with family and friends. And, everything is close by and walkable distance — shopping, beach, etc. Also, the staff helps you out with your travel plans too. You must stay here if you're planning a Puducherry trip.

Decent place kept clean and nice. We got what we asked. The staff was very polite and friendly. I don't mind staying here in future if I get to visit Pondy and would recommend friends. Thanks for the hospitality.

Awesome staff. Great rooms with a mix of traditional and modern hues of architectural interiors. Caretaker Ms. Rajalakshmi was very hospitable. This is going to be my regular stay in Pondicherry.

Right on bussy street, a home converted in to rooms. Very good rooms 2 floors. No restaurant or room service, but step outside lot of restaurant lik sree kamatchi briyani (chettinad food) or Lb2 (continental), Baker st (bit further). Good lookin house, a mix of modern chettiyar style house.

It is located near Promenade beach and all maximum of the sight seeing spots are at a walking distance.

The worst host I have ever seen in my life! We had reserved 4 rooms for the weekend from April 29th to 1st May 2017. When we went we were a little uncomfortable taking the 4th room as it was a little far from the other 3 rooms we booked. So we asked for extra beds instead (which almost cost equivalent to a room cost). He jumped asking how we can do so. I told him the reason, he was not ready to accept it. He said he reserved the 4 rooms for us. (For which we did not even pay an advance, coz we were not given an option to do so. ) He went a step high and passed a racist comment on us too. He was one arrogant man who asked us to not take the room and asked us to leave. Please note. This gentleman is running a homestay or however he likes to call it with out a name board, which means he violating the law and trying to avoid pay taxes applicable. It's better to avoid staying in this place. Unless you are OK with racist comments and a useless host.

A decent place to stay for a modest budget.

Value for money. Great service. Clean and well kept place.
