Services are pathetic. Staff isn't trained and non responsive.
I am a corporate Traveller and stays for 1 week every month, but this is my first and last stay at Abu sarovar portico.

Worst Service. Air Conditioner also not working. I was sweating whole night. My kids were feeling suffocated. It takes an hour just to get 2 bottles of water. Managers are not taking any responsibility for poor service. I had to shift my hotel by midnight 2am to Ramada hotel because of pathetic service.

Food is good, there is space for development. No proper service.

To begin with, we requested a pick up and despite assurance, it was not arranged. Ordered dinner in room and noodles were cold even on the first bite. Got complimentary breakfast but nothing seemed fresh. Everything was cold even at 8am. Lunch and dinner dishes were very spicy. They should cater to taste of visitors and not the locals. The room was not cleaned properly and tea bags/milk packets were never given unless we asked each day. Will avoid this hotel on our next visit. The only saving part was the duty manager. He took our luggage to our room and gave us complimentary sandwich on our arrival. Else my review would have been zero.

Would not recommend the pub here. Compared to other Sherlock's franchises like in Bangalore, this one is a major let down. The service and food are below average.

Star hotel with good facilities. Ample car parking space available. Located at main road. Easy assessability. Very good conference rooms are available.

The morning buffet was delicious, which is not the case with many such hotels. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Good for groups as well as family.

It could have been better. Food is not as expected. Meeting hall has lacking many common things. Other than its good. Staffs are good.

Very slow services. We'll equipped infrastructure but lethargic management. Restaurant managers busy eating biryani themselves not giving damn about guests.

Not a bad place. The food is good. The service staff is pretty friendly. My only grouse is the time it takes for the food to come tongue table felt like it was for ever and the crowd was thin.

Duration of stay: 1 night Room #: 212 Pros: Beautiful classy hotel. More family oriented. Very courteous staff. Neat and tidy rooms. Cons: food quality is mediocre, if not bad. The in-room tea kettle stank as if it had not been cleaned for days! The temperature controller in the room doesn't work. You can only change the speed of the fan, not the temperature.

To start with the team at front desk at night time is very rude (the tone specifically). I reached hotel 1.5hrs before check in time and this guy at though let me check in kept repeating again and again that I am too early to check in. Also, very ill mannered guy who doesn't have basic courtesy to behave infront of the guests. A guy n girl entering together would be taken for granted as somebody immoral and then talked about with colleagues. This guy at front desk at high doesn't fit to the profession. The cleaning and other regular staff seems good though but watch it. Food highly priced and not even worth the price. The rooms are large that's the only thing there else the charges not justified though all the amenities are there including freedger and hot water kettle. They have hotel vehicle but don't drop the guests unless you're ready to pay minimum 500bucks. My experience was very pathetic. If you're looking for good and peaceful stay with a good and well behaved staff, esp if you're lone girl travelling, this is definitely you're not looking for.

Nice hotel. It's very near to nehru Park metro. Rooms are quite spacious, neat and clean. The room service is very quick. Buffet breakfast is good with limited varieties.

Hotel atmosphere is good but when we arrived they gave us a room in 3rd floor in which A/c was not at all working then they shifted us to 1st floor but there also the A/C was not working ultimately paying ₹7000 per room we had to compromise with a small table fan which they gave us and told to adjust our package included breakfast and dinner the dinner also was quite ok not much of variety they had we had a very bad experience there we also could not shift the hotel because we had already paid them and they did not agree to give us the refund we had stayed there for 3 nights. The staff there is very rude I would never suggest anyone to stay there.

The hotel rubs shoulders with a hub of business, auto and manufacturing companies and the commercial areas of the nearby Mount Road. Leisure travellers will also find this road to be a shopping haven. The Hotel is 18 km away from the airport and just 2 km from Central and Egmore Railway Stations. The 94 well-appointed rooms and suites are a mix of high class designs and artistic insights which ensure relaxing, cheerful stays and one room has been specially designed to cater to the needs of the physically challenged. A multi cuisine restaurant and lounge bar provide much desired respite. Outstanding business facilities including a business centre, 6 halls and banqueting services make meetings and conferences effortless.

I went to attend a conference and hence can comment on that aspect only. Spacious and comfortable conference room. Acoustics could have been better. Breakfast was excellent in terms of taste and variety. Spacious parking. Courteous staff.

Nice 5 star property. Grand lobby. Good banquet and conference facilities. Multiple halls can accommodate 25 to 500 PAX. Food is good. Good Service. Valet parking available. Multiple restaurants serving multiple cuisine.

Hotel is in worst condition, smelly and diry rooms, non friendly staff, old fashioned ambiance, no value for money. Had a bad experience.

Old hotel with a new name. Seems to have retained its original personality at first glance. But I was just passing through. They have their own bar in the ground floor and Sherlock, the pub we went looking for, is all the way at the back.

One of the best hotel to stay for days. Of especially restaurant facility was completely good. For who want best service contact them.

Food and drinks are good. Theme is great. Every other Sherlock would love this place. But the music at this place is not that you would accept at all. As it's a new resto bar, can't expect too much. Hope they would improve eventually.

Went for buffet lunch. Good spread. Very economical through Nearbuy vouchers. Most of all, excellent service.

This hotel is not even single star hotel. Recommend not to book. I'm a regular traveler. This is a pethatic hotel I ever seen in my life time. I stayed room on 116. Room walls are leaking, room stinking, no carpet mats clean, no AC controller working, no TV remote in the room and fount office service in pethatic. I checked in night 8.30pm and waiting 1 hour in reception one hour to get the room. No response for guest phone calls nor bothered.

Attended a wedding reception… reception and surrounding well furnished and has a bright look to it… food was good… overall good experience.

Nice and Neat. Good service. Just difficult to pronounce the same during name change. Now got used to it.

Stayed here on 17th & 18th Dec, 2017 and found the service lacking. First experience itself was bad. I was allotted room no. 302, which smelled of cigarette smoke and I had to get it changed immediately. Due to hardly any staff available after midnight, I had to rush to the reception counter and get keys to room no. 307, which was just fine. Toiletries had to be asked in the morning and I had to wait for nearly 15 minutes. Morning breakfast was great, good variety of veg and non-veg food was available. I came for dinner around 10.30 pm and was lucky to have got food, which was good. Breakfast on the next day too was good. I was lucky to have met their General Manager at the time of departure and shared all these issues with him, who ensured for improvement in room service.

Location: Bang! on Poonamallee High road, now has additional accessibility to the Nehru Park Metro station. Ambiance: Decent, but patchy. There are a few new areas which look good, there are a few old ones which look slightly shady Food: Decent, nothing to call out Service: Decent, bumped into a situation with the room not being to my liking. They tried to accommodate my request; but essentially were giving me an older shadier room as the only alternative option. Overall: Decent stay, when you are looking for something in this part of the city.

3 Star/4 Star Hotel! Has a great ambience in rooms wit neat furniture set, less than 3 km to central railway station.

Food at the buffet was excellent and sufficient. Hallway decoration elements starting to break down. Party Hall decoration and cleanliness was good. Service staff and service in general was good. Hotel rooms were neat and tidy.

Very good service with honest staff, my friend forgot his gold chain and checked out of the hotel and they called him and safely handed over the chain to him… That's the honesty which I liked about the hotel.

This hotel is on a cost cutting mode. The staff at this restaurant near the lobby didn't really care about us. The Air conditioner did not work at all, so I started to sweat right after my bath. The coffee served during breakfast was definitely one of a kind because it tasted like it has been stored for a few days before serving and it had pieces of soaked bread. I will not visit again.

I took my relative for the buffet lunch here. Nonveg lacked variety. Salads were there just to fill the table. Even though they could improve a lot, it was reasonably good experience. The ambiance was good. The food tasted good. I liked the desserts as well.

It is good hotel staff is good. Clean room. Breakfast is also very good so it is very useful for me. I had a great pleasant stay here.

It a four star hotel which has a standards of a three star hotel. Infrastructure is very old but renovation is in progress. Rooms booked online seems to smell like dungeon. Even the kettle in the room does not have switch to power ON or OFF. Reach on the first day no toiletries available. Poor centralized air-conditioning system throughout stay. Leaking bathroom. But good place to stay.

My Friend hosted a Birthday Party here… The Hall was outstanding and the food was really good. Their Crumb Fish Fry was the best among the lot…

Its zing zing Amazing. My first experience in Abu is good. I never visited a 3 star hotel may b because of that reason I liked it. Finally I can say that it is one of the good hotel for conducting professional events.

Great location, very near the city railway station and malls. Staff are professional and offer decently good service. Rooms are large and clean. Bathrooms are large too but need better maintenance, especially the plumbing. Prices vary by booking websites, better to book through MakeMyTrip. Overall decent for a short stay.

Did not have any option to give 0 stars. Hence the 1 star. Booked the Banquet hall (Coorg hall) for an engagement party of 150 people in May 2017. The management makes all pleasing claims to provide you with the best service. However we were disappointed with the below things. 1. No guidance, route assistance to the Banquet hall. Shabby access way and poorly lit. No written details of the function placed anywhere in the premises. (Management failed to provide decorations on the access way as promised) 2. Lift was not working. (Banquet hall was on the first floor) 3. Shabby staircase to the hall. 4. AC was mediocre. I believe they were switching it on and off. The manager was a shameless guy who would laugh at our anguish. 5. Food was mediocre. Nothing great. 6. No tables arranged to sit and eat. Only 2 tables were provided on request later when we asked. 7. The people serving food would disappear at times and we were forced to call the manager to ask servers to attend to the guests. 8. Two rooms provided, one each for the bride and groom for 4 hours had no water supply even after complaining. Overall a very very disappointing experience! Never coming back to this place and never suggesting it to anyone!

Great food, comfortable stay and good hospitality.

The worst hotel i've ever visited in my life. Only 2 non veg items was there in the starters. Don't go to this hotel for eating. But the service was very good. For that only 1 star. And there was no ice cream and esspeacially no juice. Totally disapointed.

Remember one thing some of the 5 star reviews this hotel got are definitely from their own staff who are trying to better their review score, You are advised to never make the mistake of staying at this hotel because food and service is worst at this place, The waiter who bought me the food actually sneezed on the food and when I asked for an exchange he simply took it and bought it back, The employees here totally lack hygiene plus the food here is the worst I had eaten in a while, I immediately vacated and moved to a place nearby.

Overall it was a good experience barring a minor incident which compelled me to rate it 3 stars which would have rather been 4 stars. Hospitality is not good.

In spite of reserving tables, we were not able to enjoy. service was very poor, what was in the menu is completely different from what was served. Starters were served at very small quantities and at a very slow rate. Chicken 65 was freezer cold. on top of everything kuzipaniyaram was on the list of starters. Paneer tika was with very low or no flavor at all. Non veg mutton biryani was bad in taste and most of the food served was not even warm. A total disappointment.

Food quality and standards very poor. Buffet menu look appealing on paper which is not true in real. Definitely not worth your money. Wasted my precious night.

“Poorest service standards” We were four families in four rooms. All rooms were pre-booked. Room ambience and room conditions were poor. When complained to the front desk staff, they did not heed to our requests. Door locks, handles were not working properly. Ultimately we checked out and stayed at Hotel Central Tower, Opposite Chennai Central Railway Station. The rooms at Hotel Central Tower were compact, but in very good and pleasant condition at much cheaper rates.
