Renovate standard room. Everything else is perfect and deserve 5 star. Location of property is incredible.

Not so easy to reach. Roads not good and top that with not so clear direction boards. Also, maps dont work so when we call these hotel guys they wont attend calls to no idea how one can get directions to reach. : — (

Rooms are fine. The resort is a place to for lazy holiday. Food is awesome. The staff is impressive.

Visited with a group of 18 people including 3 kids. Our stay was pleasant. Food was good, though there is a scope for improvement. Reaching the resort is a bit problematic. You have to park your vehicles ~3.5 KMs before the resort. The resort people will arrange vehicles and you have to pay for it.

They are not bothered of how the guests reach to the resort via forest road. You are on your own pay Rs 400 each time (one way) you Go up to the resort or come down. This is because they do not approach road for almost 4 Kms. Rates Vs room is over priced. I found them greedy asking guest to pay full money before they even show you the room. Usually every were you pay advance then settle while leaving. They give you a black coffee when you enter and before you sip, they say sir can you pay the full settlement. Not hospitality attitude.

Very nice calm & quite place. Room are according to the charges. In seasons the rates sore. Their restaurant is not open for all, on all times of a day. While booking as a package take care to discuss this. When ever it is open to you food and care are incomparable. It is better to pin yourself it that resort rather than site seeing.

Getting there is an issue. It is in Forest and hence your car is not suitable for reaching there. Every time you want to go out, you must hire a Jeep which costs you a lot on both ways. Otherwise place is excellent and amazing. So much high in Forest with only green Forest around you and sound of only nature.

Good place to stay in waynad Beautiful property surrounded by nature, waterfall, and water stream near resort, no need to go outside of resort to enjoy nature If you have own vehicle make sure ground clearance is good or else ready to suffer while driving towards resort from main road Negatives: — Tea and coffee is complimentary but only two times in a day and timing is also fixed, if you want it in room then they charge for it 70/ — per cup OMG Do not have locker, fridge, electric cattle and room sleepers provided by resort which are very much required in room. If you are going to enjoy with friends and like to drink or smoke they don't have all these stuff at resort and if you will ask them to arrange they will charge you for vehicle 900/ — per round + Ordered item cost best option take your vehicle out and arrange it yourself Staff is good and supportive but may be they are bounded with management rules or management is lazy to look into these matters. Not so much verity in food items.

Best suited for family get-together, couple retreat. But think twice before booking here, if you opt for much of sightseeing in Wayanad, as the jeep service uphill & downhill might bite your wallet. Doesn't matter if you have your own SUV and the courage to take it uphill.

Oh My God! What an exotic place! Loved my trip to Waynad! I had a lot of fun trekking and doing various forestate activities and the spa was amazing! It was all so natural and relaxing… I am so happy with the staff and how they treat their visitors… I had an amazing trip! Thanks to Blueginger.

Blue Ginger Resort is located at a wonderful location in Waynad. Its pure nature all around you, a perfect getaway from the busy city life. Me and my wife wanted a quite getaway for our anniversary and after searching around on the internet zeroed on Blue Ginger Resort. Getting to Wayanad was easy, roads are in superb condition (From Bangalore). Its just that last part of searching for the resort in Wayanad took us some time. There are not many sign boards on the way that would have make the search easier. Any one planning to travel here please follow the boards for Vythiri Resort that's put over all over the place. The last 4 km was tricky and up hill. For one km there is mud road and then for the rest 3 km there is the concrete road. The Hotel management expressed there helplessness for the one km mud road since there do not own that part of the property and hence no road can be laid. The remaining 3 km concrete road was in a clean shape but the ride itself was scary. Just hope no vehicle is coming opposite to you while you are driving in that 3/4 km stretch. Thank god it was not raining else the ride would have been even more difficult. The camp fire was set up around 7:00 pm with music. Dinner was served at around 8:30. The food was good. The staff were friendly and attended to your needs immediate. There is a nature pool just next to the cottages, a perfect place to play in water and have some fun.

OMG! location, Friendly staffs and good foods. Lot of leaches are there so the management could do some thing for this…

Good resort by view. But approach road is dare to drive. Overall good.

Spa here is really good. Kerala is known for Ayurvedic spa.

Amazing experience. In the midst of forest. View, food, service quality everything is nice. But in maps this resort is shown on the road. But actually it's almost 2, 3 km inside and road is worst. You have to call them for Jeep which is charging 400/ — for a ride.

Very pleasant stay, amidist nature. Natural falls within premise is very good. Only risk thing is to take personal vehicle till the resort. You can ask for zeep for last 2 km which they provide.

V good nature wer v enjoyed with natural water falls; trekking was awesome under Mustafa's guidence throught d year day temp max 26°C n evening below 20°C some times good drizzle! Oly difficulty is dis resort located 5km top of d hill n road is not dat good alteration work going on n dey provide u der vehicle which cn occupy 6 members fo additional charges.

Really amazing and pleasant place stay, the biggest catch is that they have their own private waterfall.

One of the best resorts I have ever visited.

Loved the resort. The courtesy of the staff and the manager was wonderful. The meals we had were awesome. And the whole resort was maintained well. Only one thing is, it is very scary to reach as it is situated at the top of the mountain and the road connecting to resort is not good. Over all awesome experience.

Great resort. With an adventure offroad.

The resort is no value for money. We had taken a tranquil room for which costed 7000 per night. Thanks to some of the coupons we applied while booking which saved us some money. There is no good Wi-Fi in the resort. Food is not great but the prices are very high. The road to the resort is not safe especially if you are on your bike — very rocky and we felt unsafe. The location is beautiful. Resort staff at the reception is rude and unfriendly. The staff at the restaurant were friendly though. The natural pool was dried up. They do not have any spa here. There was a trek arranged which was good. It doesn't have great facilities. Hospitality is bad. Will never go back to this resort. Please choose another one. When you spend so much money and give your precious time, this resort doesn't make you feel worth it. The scenery is beautiful which I am sure you will find in another resort at Wayanad. Happy vacation!

Location is both a plus and minus of Ginger. Plus for being in a total secluded forest so you can enjoy the nature. It has a natural waterfall inside resort premise (though during our stay 26-28th Jan water was not there). Location is a minus as it is difficult to reach the place. Also don't search Hotel Blue Ginger on Google maps and go as it will take you to a wrong route, instead search for Hotel Sahara, old Vythiri. After reaching Hotel Sahara follow the Hotel sign boards. Staff was very courteous from the time we checked in till the time we checked out. Restaurant had limited option but whatever available was very good. Wheat Parota was very yummy and a must try. Room was good with large windows and forest view. If you want to just go and relax this is a good place, however it lacks a bit on the facilities front. Wi-Fi connection was very bad.

Not worth for money. So much extra u have to pay. Since it is in remote place, u have to depend on the resort for food n transport. Food is too costly for the given taste. Finally. It was waste of money.

Stay at Blue Ginger was amazing. It's a very calm place amidst lush green mountains. Very scenic and picturesque. There is natural pool, stream and a natural water falls in the Resort. Their trekking guide Mustafa was great and with lot of knowledge, it was interesting trekking with him. They also have a swimming pool in house. The climate is very cold throughout the day. You don't need a fan inside the room it's so cold. And about the food they serve authentic Kerala food with some North Indian, Chinese dishes. At last during our check out the Front office staff Neethu was really very great as she carried out luggage to our Car. Thumbs up to her dedication. Great job Neethu. Over all it was an amazing stay at Blue Ginger Resort. Thanks to the Team starting from Arun, the VP, Neethu and all the staffs specially the ones in the restaurant. Good job guys!

Would have been a great resort of not fit the horrible approach road (4 km). Dont risk taking your own vehicle unless its a 4WD. Add the additional 400 odd Rs for Jeep pick up and drop (every single trip) to the total cost.
