The ambience is just great. Wonderful place to come with friends.

The Atmosphere is so good, you would want to go there again and again.

All of those listed above. What else should I say. I think it is a place I strongly recommend everyone to visit and experience what they have there to offer particularly those who think my comments could be a mere exaggeration!

Good location great scenic view but limited seating capacity and not so maintained Food wise also confused chef It was nor Kerala style or continental Even missed to give the item but added in bill Very novice staf Behaviour though amazing and friendly but not much experienced.

Calm and serene. Excellent backwater view from the property. Food is damn expensive. Taste was not great but was not bad. The red colour put in fish curry took time to go off palm.

Very "serene" as the names suggests… Nice place to enjoy nature's beauty with food. Decent variety of cuisine available and the view from the restaurant is amazing.

Calm and quiet cottages… small but elegant property. Good for solo travellers and small groups who wish to stay in a very calm place. Away from city and near the lake and sea. Best place to spend reading or doing nothing to rejuvenate from the busy life.

An excellent get away from home. I really love the hospitality, be it from the restaurant owner or from the staff. Even my native place is varkala, I really love to be here, I even consider staying here for 1 or 2 days. Evening is the most beautiful time to spend here as you can experience the exotic sunset and cool wind from the sea & backwater. Good backwater fish varieties are also available here.

Good place for evening chill out. Nice food and great hospitality. They will prepare food, which we want. Not a cozy place. Lake View is awesome, great view at upstairs. Beef dry fry was awesome.

This is a nice place but it is not advisable to travel this area after 7: 30 pmand before 6:00 am. This is a nice resort and the service personnel are very good. They are able to cook variety of food for you.

Food is ok, I ll rate 3 star… But their hospitality and the location… Makes us not to bother about the food they make 3 star category resort. With 3 cottages.

Really enjoyed the place! Good stay. Good ambience. Great hospitality. Food was ok but not upto expectations. Will definitely return again. Getting to watch the fishermen work and opportunity to interact with the local people is also much appreciated.

Calm and Quiet place. Affordable. Kappil beach is nearby. Good hospitality. Enough privacy. 40inch TV, AC, a small kitchen, one bedroom & bathroom.

Serene Lake Resort has lovely individual buildings as your apartments with their own bathroom and a separate wash room. Each one has its own veranda with pull down blinds for privacy. I have found the service extremely good with very friendly staff always on hand for anything I need. There are lovely views across the lake and there is a lovely sandy and very private beach just at the other side of the lake. The proprietor has made sure that I have Wi-Fi which is how I am writing this review. I have looked around this locality and there are places nearer to the beach but they are either more expensiveI or not as private as this. I have also stayed at the Taj hotel which is close by and is really lovely but about it is about three times the cost of the Serene Lake Resort. I also find these individual buildings more private and the whole experience a bit more personable than the Taj. The down side is that there are only four of these apartment buildings available so you have to book early to avoid disappointment. The Serene Lake Resort has a covered restaurant overlooking the lake with very reasonable priced food and good service. I notice that local people eat here which I always take as a good sign. I must say that I am very pleased with the Serene Lake Resort and have given it 5 stars.

It's a peacefull place to unwind yourself, alone or with your family. Its quiet and calm at night with a good view of the lake. You can watch the sunset and sunrise from here! And the restraunt has good food waiting for you!
