Two of my friends stayed at Pooram recently. They're from Europe and it was good by their standards, so that means it should be really good. They were extremely happy with the customer service and said that the staff was friendly and helpful. They were impressed by the man at the desk, who proved to be really helpful.

The hotel is situated in the heart of the city and very nearer to the famous Vadakkunathan Temple. Staff are very polite and courteous. Good is also good. A lot of shops are there around the hotel and hence the place is ideal for shopping.

It is so beautiful. Service is very good. Tasty Food. Parking Facility. Situated in Town itself.

Value for Money. Ample parking facility. Located nearby to thrissur round. Vegetarian separate hotel at ground floor. Excellent room with good lighting ambiance.

Facilities and services are remarkable. Expensive. Parking available. 4 star facilities. Nice restaurants. Grand function hall, conference hall, gathering hall, business centre etc available. Fitness center is not up to the mark. Nice room service.

It is a very good hotel, staff of the hotel is very polite and respectful personality. We visited this hotel about three weeks ago for a audition purpose of my daughter. The audition hall is very nice and clean. Meals is very tasty.

Nice place to stay with your family and friends. Food was good and clean. Staffs were friendly too. The Hotel is very near to the famous Vadskkunnathan temple is an added advantage.

A good and convenient place to stay when at Thrissur. Full marks to all facilities, be it check in, room readiness and neatness, food vegetarian with option of Kerala rice or Tamil Nadu rice, arrangement for taxi, buffet breakfast, housekeeping… All were very much satisfactory.

Food was not up to the expected standards on the day I went to the restaurant. The gravy was watery. The service was good but the food, not so great. Good ambience and excellent location.

This Hotel is just opposite to the famous Vadakkunathan Temple. Bus stand / Railway station are easily accessible. For shopping, there is lots of options nearby. Their own restaurant is good, both on quantity and quality. Apart from that there are more options nearby. For a short trip, it's highly recommended. Loved the oil painting on the reception.

Easy to locate hotel and very goodstay too. The facilities are also good. Food is tastier.

Not a 'worth for money' choice. Not upto the professional standards, services and facilities not match with the high rates as per the tariff ; though the reception setting may give you a feel good ambience initially. 24 hour check out for general customers. 12 noon check out for online customers. I had discomfort feeling during the stay due to this… Secondary attitude to online customers. Good thing is its ideal location at the heart of the city…

Rooms were not cleaned properly. No hot water. Spacious rooms and excellent breakfast. Location is a big plus.

We have stayed at Pooram on numerous occassions over the last couple of years and can honestly say it is one of the best hotels to stay in Thrissur. The rooms are nice, the location is central and most of all the customer service is exceptional. Francis (front office manager) has always made sure that we have a good stay. He is extremely friendly, helpful and will always make sure he does his best in making sure that if we have any issues or queries that they will be resolved. The food at Pooram is pretty good too as well as the service provided by the waiters during breakfast. Definitely would recommend staying here!

Good place, heart of town. But wash area could be improved. Mini bar is empty.

Not at all Clean. The photos are taken from the Room No-310 (Superior Room) on 09-01-2018. There is no inner lock for the room. Locker facility is also unavailable. No calling bell too. The house keeping staff are very rude by their nature. They will enter into the room with out our permission by using their key. They are not at all bothered about guest's privacy.

Good hotel. I did experience a bad service quality at Nadham hall where my uncle arranged a party. Food was short and they did not filled the shortfall on time. It's not a good thing.

Good budget hotel in the heart of Thrissur town. Food is fresh and tasty but lil bit oily. Rooms are compact and clean. Exception to bathroom towels which had an odd smell. They have to improve on laundry quality. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Superb location. The restaurant serves good food. Rooms are poorly maintained. We were shifted from one to another. Overpriced for the quality of th room. Front office staff have no interest in serving th customer… shabbily dressed and very grumpy. I gave him a feedback on the issues in the room and he asked me to go ahead and write the review. They donor really care about the reputation the review can have on the establishment. Would recommend for location and food… Paid 4 star rates for the quality of a lodge.

Had a nice 2 days here. The Hotel is in heart of city very near to the Thrissur round. Rooms are neat. Food is good. One suggestion is to improve house keeping.

Can't fault the room and service however breakfast food always cold and same choice every day and they don't have filter coffee just instant which I find amazing in an international hotel. Staff very friendly, guy who brought the loo rolls certainly too friendly, not sure about him. On the whole best so far in Thrissur though.

Very good ambiance, good food. Nice option for family stay. Near by from the place where pooram festival is conducted. Nearby to very famous Bharat hotel.

Cost effective accomodation. Clean and have best access to centre of Thrissur. Have a good restaurant and other amenities. Good underground parking facility available.

Well maintained… and good service… especially reception boys… they are doing a good job…

Worst customer service. Reached hotel all the way from Chennai at 4 just now. Lost my charger in transit. Requested reception for a charger which was plugged in for an hour. Pleaded for half an hour with luggage with the reception, even offered a deposit for using it for an hour. Most insensitive approach especially to a corporate customer. Not coming back here!

Ambience is nice… We booked this place for a function. As for restaurant, food needs improvement… A two dish lunch with soup for two rates about 700 rs.

Centrally located across the Iconic Shiva Temple, it's an ideal hotel. Neat and clean. Friendly staff. Excellent Wi-Fi connection. Great breakfast spread. It's an ideal family hotel.

I had attended a marriage reception up there and hall I attended the function was good and spacious enough for small fuctions with maximum 150+ people… food counter too was good. Really it is ideal for small reception, party etc.

We are senior citizens and stayed at this hotel from 01 to 03 March. We found this hotel spotlessly clean, the staff very courteous and helping. It is very conveniently located. Within one km from railway station, bus stand and walking distance to Vadakkumnathan temple. I checked in at 8 p. M. The staff at the front desk informed they have checkout at 12 noon; my train was on 3rd at 6 p. M. On request, they allowed us to stay till 6 p. M. Very nice experience. I am going to recommend this hotel to all my friends and relatives.

A great place to stay if you are in Trichur, The staff was courteous and very helpful. Good hospitality, Rooms were clean and housekeeping was good. Excellent food. Will definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Well guys let me tell you this is not any star hotel … just basic hotel with hopeless free break fast … I challenge this people to make one omelet … For no reason they hype … staff are hope less room is good but not for the price, have a safe stay …

Another horrible hotel in thrissur. There is a stench in all rooms due to poor house keeping. The service is hopeless. God save this owner.

I love the ambience! Excellent food and service.

The hotel staff were extremely rude and unhelpful. We had booked a 3 night stay at the hotel, however on arrival there were dead and live cockroaches in the hallway. When we got in to our rooms the problems continued, all three rooms had dirty bed sheets and one of the toilets didn't flush and one of the showers didn't drain. After explaining our problems to the manager, the manager said the first night would be free of charge and the rooms will be fixed for when we return the following night. When we returned the rooms were just as bad, and we decided to move to another hotel, this was when the manager changed his mined and demanded full payment for the rooms. Long story short the hotel refused to let us leave the lobby and called the police to force us to pay them, however when the police arrived they realised how bad the hotel was and agreed with us, it was only with the help of the police that we were able to leave the hotel. In addition to this the hotel then harassed our new hotel trying to get them to refuse us accommodation. Thankfully our new hotel had had dealings with this poor hotel before and understood our situation.

Good. International look reasonable price. Value for the money.

Overall okay. Reaching the place was a hassle, without knowing Thrissur, with traffic diversions. Breakfast was ready only at 7.30 am. Menu was poor. Reception was below expectation. Receptionist wouldn't even smile. One of the receptionists walked away, as soon as we reached the counter.
