Good hotel, closer to university campus. Neatly maintained. Budget hotel. Friendly staff. Room service is good. Not a star hotel, but maintained neat and bright. Breakfast is okay not excellent, but good for the price.

The hotel is very close to Tiger Circle (TC) and has a lot of shops around it. It is very well maintained with a lot of rooms and well trained staff. There is free Wi-Fi available at the hotel and the breakfast buffet is complementary. The hotel has both veg and and non veg restaurants. It has two lifts. There's a supermarket in the basement as well. Moreover, all body care amenities are available in the neat washrooms in each room. Each double room can be asked to make into a triple sharing room by adding an extra bed by asking for it at the reception.

Good restaurant. Has a good number of options in starters and main course. It has a separate vegetarian restaurant so pure vegetarian seekers can try this one.

I have taken a suite room. Price is too high and room interior design looks too cheap. I have paid 6000 plus for the suite. I have a 11 years child but they forced me to take one extra bed with additional cost of 900. It's not a standard hotel. I didn't not get my value of money. I have learned a lesson by trusting the ratings. I didn't get my.

This was a quick lunch before a meeting so my review would be on the non-vegetarian restaurant of the hotel. The walk down the stairs leads you to a dark and not so family friendly reception. I really hope the management could do something about that because once you manage to cross this section and get in to the Family seating area, the ambience is nice and calm. The seating is comfy and the staff do understand your food requirements. We stuck to the quick and traditional Kori Roti with Chicken Ghee Roast which was washed down with a nice glass of refreshing Fresh Lime Soda. The food was good but, the chicken gravy that was recommended along with the Roti was not what we expected to be since the traditional gravy is thick and rich with coconut in it. The chicken ghee roast was perfect and the flavour just kicked in at the first bite Over-all, the restaurant is good but could be better.

Extremely good customer care from the reception to the end when I stayed in the hotel from yesterday to today. Hotel authorities and staff keeping very fine hygiene in every where especially in bathroom and toilet with disinfecting. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious. Moreover the facilities in the rooms are superb with reasonable rates. Thanks to hotel authorities and staff for giving a pleasant stay.

The food service is very fast. There is a seperate veg and non veg restaurant available. Ambiance is good. Family friendly. Great food. Good quantity. Option of half and full quantity available for all the dishes. Good staff and service. Aesthetically pleasing and economical too.

1. Hospitality is world class 2. Food is fine comparable to other restaurants 3. Breakfast can be better if international customers to be entertained 4. Spacious rooms with all needed facilities like hot water, a/c, tea coffee maker :) especially for those who love morning tea coffee.

Stayed in their executive suits for a day The staff is nice and helpful The rooms are spacious big and clean We asked for extra beds and they were provided instantly and were quite comfortable. When you ask for extra bed u really get a bed and not just a cot that’s something unique and nice Well fitted shower panels are provided The bathrooms are also quite spacious. There is a small cosy dressing area too in one of the master bed rooms The common setting area also has an AC Fridge microwave in the kitchen are a great add on for those looking to cook your favourite meal on your holiday We mostly ordered food from their restaurant which was also quite tasty.

I have mostly come to Madhuvan Serai for having my lunches and dinners with friends. The food, both at the veg and non-veg restaurants, are extremely delicious, and the service is quick. About the rooms, I have little idea, but I've heard from people who have stayed there that it's a good place to stay in Manipal.

One of the best places for lunch and dinner in Manipal. The charges are little high, but the quality of service is excellent. They have good variety of dishes to try out. This hotel is a very convenient location. Serves tasty food and courteous staff. Rooms are well maintained.

This is place is conveniently located. It is 2mins walking from Tiger circle. Their check-in policy is 24hrs checkout from time of check-in — which is nice. I checked in early in the morning and checked like out same time next day. Rooms are nice. No view. Hot water was lukewarm at best. Apparently they have a common solar heater. Staff is courteous. Overall, I'll recommend it.

The rooms are really good in there. Food is good in taste. These two things are most essential while staying in hotel.

The service was very slow. But the food is tasty. Prices are on the upper side but not too much. Good ambience and there is TV to watch live matches! You get beer pitcher and tower here too! Not many places where they serve draught beer. This is one place where it is served!

Realllyyyyyy great food. Ample parking. Great customer service, it's one of the few places which take back meals without a fight. Pricing is slightly on the higher end, but it's worth it because it's not a dhaba, it's a properly maintained restaurant. Has the visual appeal as well as food quality. The most important thing is this is the only place in manipal which serves good food and good booze along with it. I love it for that.

Madhuvan has good North and south indian food options. And 2 seperate restaurants with only veg options. One of the nicer but expensive options to dine in Manipal.

A good hotel to live in. The location is great — a bus stand, a few restaurants, grocery store, hospital, etc. Everything is very near. You get autos easily. I like the rooms — clean, spacious and mine had a balcony with a good view. They also have triple bed rooms which was awesome. The food is simple and I like it so, and they have half portions of things served which is great! The staff is very helpful and friendly. The Wi-Fi keeps disconnecting but they look into the matter and solve issues nicely. Overall, a family friendly hotel with a good, simple ambience.

I was a great experience. The hotel is located near syndicate bank in tiger circle in Manipal. The rooms are spacious and well furnished and taken care of.

Awesome food, Great ambiance… Been here for first time and tried their North Indian Thali. Loved all the side dishes, the rice item it included and the roti as well. I definitely recommend this restaurant for quality food.

Location: Good, close to MIT but other hotels are closer — Green Park and Fortune Valley In. Rooms: Decent size (quite large for this price range). Clean linens. Comfy bed. Not a very good view, though. Service: Good food and service at the Madhuvan Serai hotel and restaurant.

Lovely food, great ambience, value for money, service quick but needs a bit improvement in the way of serving the guests… good standards… Will visit it again if possible… keep it up.

Nice place. One of the best family restaurants in Manipal. It's probably the best place you can bring you're parents to when they visit manipal. Not like a place where you can hang out with friends.

I guess this is the only vegetarian restraunt in Manipal, good service… They have baby chair as well.

We stayed in Madhuban Serai in Sept2015 for 5 days. The experience was not very good. The service was too lousy with only one boy providing services to all rooms. The room phone was broken. Worst is that the staff doesn't seems honest as left my Rayban sunglasses on reception counter while settling the bills and left the hotel. On realizing after 5 min called the reception but was told that no glasses are found. They were pretty expensive glasses so no wonder about the reply. Overall there are many other better (might be) options in close vicinity like few service apartments in same price or adjacent hotel (green park? ) in half of the price which is equally clean.

A very good restaurant. The hotel is also very good for stay. Breakfast and Wi-Fi are complementary with the rooms.

Its very pleasant place to stay… only two thing I noticed may need attention of management-1. Curtains must be DOUBLE LAYERED as its looks very normal when v compare it with other similar places. 2. Most importantly, for the safely and privacy of guests, rooms main doors must have LATCHED CHAINS from inside or else staffs can open the rooms with master key after ringing bells just once which is not proper… we stayed on 16th Jan. 2015… Rest all the things are upto the expectations.
