We had visited this in Connection with the admission process for B A Culinary Arts in Manipal University. Welcome Group is an associate which provides the students of Culinary and Hotel administration enough practical session.

The rooms are really good. The staff are professional, polite and prompt. Among the best hotels available if you are to visit Kasturba hospital, as it is literally next door. The food is a bit on the expensive side but tasty. I would suggest finding a nearby food spot if staying for more than a day as there are many nearby and tasty options available. The Udupi railway station is about a 10 min drive from the hotel.

Excellent service. Very friendly staff. My son had forgotten his mobile phone. The hotel management called and informed. We had already left Manipal so they even couriered it to Bangalore. Facility is well maintained. Rooms are specious. Convenient location.

Excellent place for a weekend holiday. All the amenities are top notch and staff is kind. The food here is excellent. Clean rooms and toilets and regular room service.

Nice place, conveniently located, but getting old and and rusty. We had to vacate the first room we went to due to dampness and mould on the walls, the ac in the next was a little weak. It's not as bad as the review makes it sound, but definitely needs some serious maintenance.

Rooms have decent size beds. The staff are amiable and very fast. The room size is itself quite big.

This is a well located hotel for the university and the eateries nearby are good. The hotel looks nice but the facilities are quite basic. The bed was quite hard and there were problems serving food in the cafe when a group of us ordered in the early evening. The breakfast range is okay but the pastries were stale. The coffee is not of the quality of a similarly appointed European hotel.

One of the good hotels in Manipal… Availability of room is always a question mark… Staff can be little more soft in handling the guests… The rooms, food, facilities and quality of service are very good… Even if you visit frequently they always treat us like new and they never give good pricing in the first instance/request, no fixed pricing for corporate… The best place to stay if you visit Manipal for work in KMC Hospital or Manipal University…

We went to Fortune Inn for a food festival called Wok This Way. It was a pan-Asian themed event, and lived up to our expectations. Every single dish, from the starters, to the cute little fortune cookie at the end, was wonderfully prepared by what can very well be called experts. It was a gastronomic delight. The only problem was the waiting time to get a table, but honestly, the food was worth waiting for. Will definitely look forward to attending further events.

It is one of the oldest hotels in Manipal and holds the reputation of being one of the finest in comparison to other ones in the city. Though there is a great reputation, the hotel has not lived up to the name. The air vents, mirrors, cupboards etc. Are dirty and the food seems to be of mediocre quality. With such a large market mainly consisting of students' families from well-off backgrounds, the hotel should be paying more attention to these things and aim to improve their standards.

A very pleasant ambiance. Yet again the place attracts a classy crowd. It's a 3 star hotel. Recommended for 2 or 3 days stay. The food is average and rates are not very high. The staff are courteous. The place opposite to the kmc hospital and is very easy to find.

Amazing hotel! Right next to the gym and hospital, meaning easy access to essentials. There's a very good restaurant in the hotel as well. The staff are very courteous and the room servicing is spotless. I'd come here again!

Simple and comfortable spot on Manipal campus. Not luxurious, but clean. Friendly staff. Good breakfast buffet. Indian and western foods. Even an omelette station. Walking distance to many things.

Very nice service. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are decent. There is a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner and the food is really good. There are very less options in ala karte menu though. Overall great experience. Definitely recommend if you are coming to Manipal!

It's located near the WGSHA college. The rooms are old fashioned, spacious and well maintained. The service is excellent.

It's just OK. The service is average. It took the reception 5 calls from the room and a scolding to bring some drinking water. Breakfast was good. The rooms are good. Just don't expect a fast service. Although the people here are really nice.

Fortune Inn Valley View is located near Tiger Circle, Manipal, Karnataka. This hotel belongs to ITC Group. The hotel is good with clean room & bathroom. The bed is clean & amenities are good. There is option of making tea/ coffee in the room. The restaurant offers variety of dishes with free breakfast to guests.

Comfortable and well kept rooms. Ideal location for those coming to Manipal University. Only drawback is that the Menu has very few choices. I would give five stars if they upgraded the Menu.

Location: Excellent. It's beside Marena and across the MIT campus. The hotel management and dental science area is also nearby. Rooms: Excellent. We got upgraded to the club rooms and they were great. Service: Somewhat average. We called for a third bed but they only provided the mattress.

Best hotel in Manipal by miles. Managed by ITC. Comfortable and cozy rooms. Very hospitable staff. Has two restaurants attached as well as a swimming pool. Centrally located in Manipal.

The place is great if one is going for any Manipal education matters. The building is pretty old and it shows. People are nice.
