Good property, good management, good food.

Decent hotel, but they need to improve their kitchen services. Also they charged us extra (very high rates) for the heater during the winter, which is not a nice way to treat guests.

What a waste of time, money at Tamarind. Dining area full of noises by hotel staff. Room service pathetic. Hotel desk person is the most busy person, you have to wait as the one person is incharge of every thing online booking, phone booking customer query. One can hear the negotiation of room rates, and other personal details. At one point I decided to shift to other one. Rooms are big but room service pathetic. You order for a cup of tea it will be delivered on your hand, no tray system. Most of the time room services are down, TV sets are down on technical issues. Room facing road had to suffer the noises of vehicles whole night. Realy stay at your own risk. At Dining area you had to ask for floor cleaning, table cleaning as nobody bothered. staff are mostly rude and ill mannered. Few may found without any uniform. you had to pay for room heater heavily.

Its an great motel located precisely so that it connects main road and market too. The hostel is rated four stars and so do its quality… The rooms are nicely decorated with a great outdoor view… The washroom has great facility as 24hrs hot water, bathtub access, hairdryer and emergency landline too. Breakfast here too is delicious… I would rate it as the best hotel among others…

Nice hotel with beautiful rooms. Try to get rooms with clear mountain view. Although expensive so book online with good deals. Food average quality and expensive compared to taste and quantity.

If you want leisure, this is the place! Lovely view from the room. Food is a bit on costlier side. Economical yet good facilities. Walking distance from MG Marg.

Ok hotel. Old rooms but very spacious. They do not have any indoor games etc but they claim they do but the adjacent hotel does and they share the infrastructure.

Had big and clean rooms. Food was okayish. Staff were courteous (except for the receptionist who was indifferent and rude at times).

Nice hotel for comfortable stay in Gangtok. It is bang on the Nathula Pass road. Food is ok. People are very warm and friendly.

The ambiance was quite good. It has plenty of amenities. But it has a major drawback, the staff is unprofessional. They don't turn on the generator if the electricity is cut off after midnight. The restaurant service was very slow.

Very nice property, Specially the suites, Room number 601-604. Food options are limited, may be it will be better in the season, Far from M G Marg. Need to pay 150-200 for private taxi or 20 in a shared cab from the nearest junction (share cabs wont come till the hotel).

One of the best hotels in Gangtok, Sikkim. The rooms are very spacious and have a very nice view of mountains. Over and above the hotel staff is very helpful and will assist you whenever required. The food buffet is very good.

It's a beautiful and luxurious hotel perched on top of the hills near the CM Bungalow. The hotel is marvelously furnished with wooden interior and is a must for travellers. The view from the bedroom to the valleys directly behind the hotel is breathtaking. It's a perfect place for honeymoon.

It is located away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The mg road of Gangtok is at 30 min walkable distance. The hotel is small but beautiful. The rooms are quite spacious, comfortable and look high end with wooden flooring along with a mesmerising view of the valley. My room number was 503 on first floor. The restaurant "imly" services are good with good food and variety.
