Its a heritage property built in 18 century, which is maintained very nicely, from this property there is a 360 view of Himalayas, very tasty food and staff was very helpful and in much in number.

We had breakfast here. A very friendly staff ❤️. Garlic bread & hot chocolate was amazing.

Its a amazing experience being in Rokeby Manor. You can live the Nature. A complete view of Dehradun and Mussoorie from the top, Star gazing while enjoying bonfire, and the best dinner of Emily cafe contribute to a perfect trip to Landour.

My fairly frequent visits to Landour are made special by my stays in Rokeby! I love its colonial heritage combined with contemporary ambience and style… it’s comfort and warmth… helpful staff who are forever eager to please… the spectacular views from its gardens and windows of the rooms… gourmet delights at Emily’s… its quiet neighborhood and the long walks around the property! Rokeby Manor offers a delightful experience and I am forever grateful for it to be there during my travels to Landour!

I visited this place recently. It feels like old British type hotel. Place is simply beautiful inside out. Beautiful garden. Awesome ambience. More importantly very cooperative as well as helpful staff. It is a must visit place and their cafes too. I visited Clock tower cafe which gives eye catching view of hills and a comfortable place, when I visited it was raining so staying there the rain stopped was simply pleasurable.

This is an amazingly lovely and cozy place in Landour. It is done up in colonial style and you could be forgiven for believing for a moment that you are in England. The views are amazing as is the food. It's the expected English food as well as Indian dishes. The rooms are lovely and quaint although expensive.

Visited Emily's for lunch. Awesome decor. Great food. Budget place. Staff is great. U should enjoy a walk at tea garden. It's a must visit for mussoorie trip.

The best place in Landour. Amazing rooms and amazing food at its Emily Restaurant. Wilson Chambers is full of books. Very antique very hip place. Reminds me of British Era and it is a British Era home now converted into a hotel owned by Mars Group. The Rhododendron Suit (Room Number 10) is fantastic. The tea garden behind the property is beautiful and the view from it is divine. Must go place. If you want to stay there please book in advance.

The only high end hotel/restaurant on the hills of Landour, adjoining Mussoorie. Decent location/ambience though stay here is termed costly. Old but well maintained wooden interiors, small rooms, reasonably good hospitality, free limited parking and accessible by pucca/cemented road. Serves variety of dishes/cuisine since morning breakfast to not very late dinner. Good Taste and portion. Open seating for restaurant is very limited due to fear of possible snatching by monkeys. Liquor not served. Accepts credit/debit cards. Worth visiting for meals/snacks. Has in-house small gifts and souvenirs shop.

Beautiful place… It was built in the best location. The food is awesome. One worthy experience in Missouri. It's like a different world.

A slice of the colonial past. Rokeby Manor is made of stones and woods. They haven't made it too modern and that keeps the charm alive. The food is great and simply look at the picture of the place to know what you're getting! Don't need to write anything else!

Beautiful heritage property. Old style rooms and lounge. A very pretty tea garden. Vibrant colourful flowers. Very peaceful and serene. Great views of the mountains. The cottages are perfect for family vacations. And of course the food is simply amazing. On the downside the resort has limited space on it's property. There's no bar and the spa and salon are located at a short distance away. All in all a must visit.

Top place to stay in Landour. Very classic including nice, but too expensive restaurant. Some cottages for rent as will around the hill side. Very nice lobby and library to sit and read. About 4 km from Picture Palace and most shops in case this is important to you. Recommended for people who want to have a quiet and quality stay with some Western luxury.

Such a beautiful resort. We visited this place for a meal and loved everything about it. They have limited rooms and it's very expensive. You will have to book months in advance. The resort itself is quaint and well decorated. The food is good. The view is decent.

It had a vintage and rustic look. It felt alot like a personalised Christmas home. It was 7000ft above sea level. It is must do once in a lifetime. Hospitality was remarkable. And the Jacuzzi is a must try in winter.

4 star for ambience and food at Emily's cafe and overall decor. Specially the Wilson chamber library. Rooms are a bit claustrophobic. They could have been a bit generous with space.

It was a beautiful place with a British feeling. The food was interesting it had a combination of indian and western. The indian was not completely authentic indian and the western wasnt completely authentic western. For example, there was a dish called nanza which had pizza toppings on naan. The food was average according to me. The rooms looked cosy and beautiful. The area is located in a beautiful place, which is near landhouse bakery. It is serene and peaceful. The staff was friendly and there was a small library to read. Hence, it was a nice beautiful place.

The place is really beautiful! Surrounded with mountain range. Nice street market and local people are Frank and helpful. This place is must visit specially in winters!

Simply wonderful. A visit here takes you back to the 1800s lifestyle, architecture and setting. Read up about it before visiting as that will help you associate artifacts within with their true purpose and meaning. The food at Emily's restaurant, though expensive, is exquisite and contains a wide variety of options. The staff are cordial and gentlemen like and you will not be disappointed after visiting this place. Give it a shot. If you're willing to shell out some money for a unique experience, stay there for a day or two.

Imagine the cosiest of places in the heart of hills, secluded and quiet. That's rokeby. Immaculate food and ambience. Although the journey up landour is ardous and worrying.

I have never been a big fan of the hills and solitude was always out of context and pseudo — intellectualish for me (Natasha Sharma… lol) ; magic of Rokeby has flipped me.
Spending some quiet time in a place so beautiful and serene that my heart aches with joy.
Soaking in the golden sunlight and seeing a wave like dance of colorful flowers are things we all should do more often.

It's a beautiful place, great landscape and looks like we are living in a flower garden, the staff is very courteous and serve with a smile. Food is excellent and great variety of dishes to the choose from. View from the tea garden looks like a we are in Switzerland.

A beautiful place to unwind. You can either sit in the cafe and have their awesome cold coffee or sit in the library and enjoy reading a book. The place is so gorgeous and serene that I almost hated coming back. A must try for everyone.

Charming, English country style manor with amazing valley view. Stayed almost two weeks and enjoyed the place when buzzing with guests as well as when more quiet. The historic imprints of British colonialism in that region of India left a slightly strange aftertaste.

Beautiful colonial style manor, ruined by no hot water and the unfriendly, unhelpful receptionist, Sandeep. I really hate to write this about this hotel because it had great promise: beautiful garden, quaint architecture, rustic atmosphere. But I left my passport in rishikesh and the staff only made an already stressful situation more stressful. On top of that, there was no hot water and Sandeep (rest of staff was fine) seemed entirely incapable of being remotely pleasant.

Excellent place … had gone there with family and children… I enjoyed the top view… walking distance from chardukan area … only bad was the steep climb and crazy landour bazar … rest its worth to be here … I was very happy and satisfied!

Great food and the staff is very friendly. Both Indian and Continental fare is first class. It is high end, but worth it for special occasions. The view from the balcony is also beautiful.

Expensive to stay here, but you can sure afford a lunch and enjoy the brilliant decor at Emily's. The restaurant with stone walls and wood a perfect english bungalow. And decorated with a classy taste. Don't miss the library!

Beautiful, historic place. It was build in 1840 and it's maintained very well. The drive is very steep, so make sure you are comfortable driving in first gear all the way up. The rooms are large and well appointed. There's no TV but that's the point. It is a boutique hotel and the tariff is between 8-10k per night. The staff is great and helpful. The food in their restaurant called 'Emily's' is great. There's a library next to the restaurant and you must check it out. There are unique Knick knacks all over. The large common rooms have TV and fireplace. Very quintessentially British. Overall a great experience.

It's a place that is serene and allows one to be in 'solitude'. Awesome place, old charm yet modern. Staff is excellent and at ur service with a smile I would recommend people to certainly walk around the '8' at leisure, visit the church service even if u are from a different religion. The Map that Rokeby provides is extremely helpful. To top it all, meeting Mr Ruskin Bond and getting his book personalized was a dream come true. He is 80+ and am told he still writes. God …Bless him! We just had a day with us and made the most of it! Lovely is how I will describe the experience.

Loved every single second I spent here. Im travelling solo and this place just felt like second home. The staff, the ambiance, my room, every nook and corner of this place is just so prefect. Thanks a lot for making my stay a dream come true. Im surely going to miss my room no 11.
