Cozy rooms with excellent food and very warm and welcoming staff.

We stayed at Rivera for 1 night only. Experience was really nice. Staff was very pleasant nd ready to help every time. Ambience was also good. Nd food was also really tasty. Had a great experience.

Lovely ambiance and very coordinating staff especially the guy in the reception. Very near to the famous Assi Ghat of Varanasi.

I really love here. Here let me feel safety and comfortable. They didn't gave up when my train was delayed at night. Staff are kindly. I still miss them now.

The service in general is poor.
I forgot a personal object and they have refused to return it to me, now I have to file a claim to have it sent to me.
The rooms do not have windows to the outside, the access is very bad and the breakfast also.

The hotel is in a great location… there is no parking at all in the hotels near the ghats but you dont need parking… the staff are friendly and are willing to help anyway they can… room was very comfortable but very basic free breakfast… you can order from menu at extra cost… the dinner we ordered was very good.

This hotel is pretty neat and clean, very good staff, Just 50 meter away from River (Ghat). Accessible to all the areas for traveling and exploring. Affordable Price.

Near the ghats, almost 500mtr from assi ghat. Inside narrow streets but a value for money 3 star property.

Stuffy rooms, horrible breakfast variety and availability. Wi-Fi speed is unsatisfactory. But an ok place to stay in.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Nothing much to write about. Only plus point is that it's just a few steps from Ganges. No room has a view. The room which we got was practically without any window for ventilation. It was suffocating. You can't run AC in peak Winters to breath fresh air. They have a meal area. Breakfast was included but menu was just bread, butter and poori bhaji. Just ok to have a fill before you start your day.

Hotel situated in a narrow street with no parking space. Room service very bad. Especially services are very bad. We have booked deluxe room and they have given is standard room with 2 single bed. Never face this kind of bad UN professional service. I will not recommend anybody to stay in this hotel.

Not easy to find. You have to walk a little to reach the hotel as it is not on the main road and cars can't reach there. Small clean rooms with no sunlight. Perfect for vampires.

An ok place. We booked because the hotel we wanted was sold out. Moved to a better one on the third night though. The staff is really trying hard but they don't even know basics. Cleanliness is worth one star, and location is not that bad, although very inside and not quite on the river.

The most premium hotel you can ever come across and that too with an amazingly planned budget that will fit your pockets very well… The staff, the owner everyone treats like a family member always… And most importantly the view from the terrace is amazing you can see the Ganges very well… A must try place.

Horrible place. I just left it because, when I came, I booked three nights, but this morning they had a "big group" coming, so they needed one more room and they KICKED ME OUT. Do not trust them, they are liars. And they are always looking for money, they search for tips even if all they do is merely their own duty. When I first came with a driver, they showed me a big, nice room; when I came back later on, without the driver, they tried to give me a smaller and cheaper room, since the agency would have paid for the bigger. Rooms are mostly unclean and you have to beg for room cleaning (and do not forget the tips! ). Don't go there. Never.

Location : Located at a stone throw distance from river, this hotel is ideal for travellers who want to visit river ghats often. The Hotel is between Assi ghat and Tulsi Ghat. Room: Room was clean, well maintained. Hitachi air conditioner, Bravia LEDs, soft bed, clean bed sheets. Everything was fine. Breakfast: very poor options and poorly staffed restaurant. The tables are not so clean, the staff at restaurant is rude and to top it all I spotted a RAT at the restaurant. The staff is more interested to wrap his shift than to serve guests. Front desk: Front desk is well managed, staff is helpful and welcoming. They offered me a slightly over priced city tour, but didn't try to push it on me. Overall the front desk gets a thumbs up. Overall, the hotel is nice for staying in Varanasi, if one has plans to frequent between Dasashwamedha ghat and Assi ghat. I would have given a four star, but breakfast experience and the piss stinking lane up to the hotel makes it a three star review.

Pathetic place. Staff is so non cooperative. Uses foul language and they doesnt have sense of working in a hotel or a restaurant. I recommend not to stay here.

We stayed 2 nigths in this hotel. Well located. Good instalations. Almost new hotel. And specially very kind people attendig all our needs. Front office, restaurant and the other dependents. I recommend it!

A fine Hotel for a few days stay. Comfortable rooms and satisfactory washrooms. Though parking is an issue, but they did arrange one for me. Overall a good experience.

Avoid this place! when we get there, the staff not only were not welcoming and helpful but also oddly staring at us; we've been asked to listen to them talking about tours and stuff while we were so exhausted! finally we checked into the room after requesting to clean the room TWICE! the room was like it's not been cleaned for months! there were dirt and stain every were… we cancelled our booking and booked another hotel for our stay in Varanasi. It was quite disappointing…

Nice place to stay, helpful staff, good homely food and close to Assi ghat… nice cafe' and eatery joints in vicinity.
