Nice place. Good sized rooms, nice staff. Food in the evening took a while to arrive and the drinks we ordered first took even longer. Staff were missing when we went to check out so that took 10 mins longer than it should have. Overall it was fine though. Would come back.

My husband & I attended a wedding on Saturday 23rd June & stayed the night in the hotel. I have nothing but praise for your kind, caring, friendly & helpful staff. Our room was delightful but your staff are the icing on the cake. I would definitely stay again & highly recommend the hotel. Thank you to all for a brief but very pleasant stay.

Filter in pool broke for months. Air con poor. Staff grumpy. Overpriced. Over rated!

A very tidy hotel. The rooms are very good and the food is great, and pretty good value for money.

Stayed as overnight guest, clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, ample parking. Nice sized gym but could use a larger floor workout area and some of the weight machines are showing their age. Changing rooms well presented but a little small. Excellent pool area and spa. Overall well priced and definitely worth a visit. Well done.

Absolutely great. Went for the alternate Mrs Brown's. Was fun light hearted night. 2 course meal included. Really tasty. Stayed in bridal suite. Was beautiful.

As a regular visitor for the hotel I’ve always been impressed with the service and standards. After staying last week during our visit from the ‘Beast From The East’ I must commend the hotel for going above and beyond for their guests. They suffered a burst water main due to the extreme weather and offered to move me to one of their sister hotels. I didn’t need to take them up on the offer however it was an excellent gesture. Thanks again and see you soon!

New build hotel good reasonably priced food pubs just round the corner or you can get good beer in the hotel. Gym and pool. Good rooms comfy beds plenty of chanels on the TV.

Stayed at the quality hotel with 9 others for our friends hen weekend. Staff were all lovely, amenities are great and far enough for a quieter stay. Would stay again.

Absolutely amazing place! I come to stay last Sunday for the first time and we loved it! So much so we're currently making bookings for the next few months to stay over! I cant wait to be back the staff were extremely useful and were all lovely & friendly x.

Good, comfortable rooms. Everything in them you could want. Simple menu available in restaurant and bar. Quiet. Easy parking. Gym/fitness on site for those who feel inclined.

Stayed overnight before attending an assessment centre. High quality rooms, leisure facilities and a lovely breakfast at a fair rate but the room was much too warm on arrival and the gym is not available 24/7. Would recommend.

I have been working here this week as part of the hotels Christmas party season. This has given me access to the full range of facilities on offer, plus detailed contact with senior management in the year leading up to this contracted work that I had to deal with. No problems! Good food. Steady accommodation. Thoroughly pleasant staff. The location is arguably perfect if you need to hit the coast, Sunderland, Newcastle and Durham. Not a five star rating, but for me and the team of six other professionals I am with, this has been a well worthwhile venture for sure.

Decent rooms. Food pretty good. Useful for business park. Gym. And pool a bonus.

Been to the 80's night and it was spot on! Loved the arrival cocktails, drinks prices are quite expensive but there were special deals on. I didn't really like the starter, but the main and dessert were delicious! Although we were one of the last tables to be served, the main course was nice and still hot. The band was great and had everyone dancing from the very first song. Such a good night! Will be returning!

Spotlessly clean in all areas of the hotel and rooms. Food really nice. Didn't seem to be many staff tho and the ones that were there a bit unsure of what they were doing. Bar prices varied depending on which bar you used. Smoke alarm went off twice and no one seemed to bat an eyelid so prob a regular occurrence which isn't good in case it's a real fire. Would stay here again tho.

Popular hotel in industrial location. Great pool and fitness with terrific staff.

Arrived late to a friendly welcome. Rooms were comfortable but a little cold (there was a heater so was my own fault). Rooms were very clean and shower was good. Breakfast had a nice selection and poached eggs being cooked to order was a nice touch. Would definitely stay again!

Very good hotel with gym, swimming pool, bar, restaurant, ample parking, good size rooms and next to A19.

Went to a Christening Reception here. We had afternoon tea which was very good.

I didn't go to the hotel to use any of the facilities as I was there for blood donation. Nice interior around the reception area. The room used was pleasant despite it being warm outside.

Our stay was lovely. Food was amazing and a good variety. Rooms were spacious, clean and beds were comfy. Spa access was peaceful and relaxing. Late check out was amazing value and all staff went over and beyond to make our stay perfect.

Friendly staff and fairly priced drinks, the wedding party we attended went smoothly and had a good night.

Daughter enjoys our swim here, downside being we always get wet… clean place, staff pleasant…

Old hotel but the reception and restaurant are the only part of the hotel modernised.

The hotel was clean and food was good HOWEVER my room was in the middle of the hotel I'm a square which overloomed a court yard connected to the bar. I had to ring down at 1.30 in the morning to complain about the noise and then an hour later was woken up again! The next night there was a wedding and the noise was horrendous and went all night. The hotel is a very bad design and maybe staff should put people who are on business on the outside facing rooms. I certainly wouldn't stay here again because of this.

Four of use came for Dinner and show Elvis is in the house. All we can say food, staff excellent. We all said we will be back. Thank you.

Whilst this isn't the greatest hotel, it was nice to stay at. The staff were very helpful as we had a lot of baggage to transfer to our room (3 month old baby in tow! ). We didn't eat here, as we were visiting relatives that cooked our meals. We also didn't use the gym, so I cannot comment on these areas. Great for a couple of nights stop over if you are only using it to sleep as we did.

I stayed here on business, myself and a colleague came from Denmark to shoot in the area (for the football), and we enjoyed our stay, very friendly staff, clean rooms, and a nice environment. A few negatives really took away from the experience, these are as follows: Very small portions of food for the price. Both me and a colleague had 3 courses and were both still very hungry (and we aren't big guys! ). The gym needed a couple of more benches, one bench for the whole Gym is not enough! Condiments; Ketchup, Mayo and Brown Sauce are nowhere to be found. You have to ask for such things. This is fine during dinner, but during breakfast these should be readily available. Beds are comfy, but the pillows are awful! Two pillows is too much, one pillow is too little. Consider getting smaller and more comfortable pillows. Feather would be a good idea. I'd recommend staying here, overall it's a 7/10, but there is room for improvement.

Ive been a member of quality hotel leisure club since it re-opened, paying a monthly fee for gym and pool of £75 Initially the facilities were adequate for members, however the pool, gym and changing areas are now absolutely disgraceful, its a small pool to begin with and now it is being cordoned off for all sorts of other activities, the changing areas are dirty and seedy, there is a acceptance of allowing young boys from the ages of 5 to 10 to change in the ladies changing room (absolutely disgraceful), we continually complained about this but due to the lack of adequate supervision this behaviour continues. The changing room floors are a slipping hazzard and are dirty and rarely ever cleaned and dried, Im sure the HSE would be abhorred to see this trait, someone is bound to get injured. The practice of jumping into the pool is becoming more and more apparent, again this is directly due to the weak and limited supervision, this along with the ignorance of people coming straight from the sauna/steam rooms and not showering can only result in increased health hazards. I am now in the process of cancelling my membership as I now see this so called leisure club going further and further downhill. The management want to wake up and smell the coffee, this place really is very low class in every area.

Really really nice place extremely clean and modern really big comfy beds too would recommendto anyone.

Very expensive gym membership, tiny facilities, jacuzzi regularly broke down. Left just before it got closed down for legionnaires disease.
