Very expensive even for Icelandic standards considering the service level. We payed 330€ for One night in a family room without bath. There are only three bathrooms for the hotel. Only breakfast was sufficient.

Despite being a hotel with somewhat outdated facilities it is clean and equipped. The only downside is that in our room there was only one plug next to the sink. The furniture is old but the beds are good. Another catch is that there is no kitchen available but that's a normal thing when it comes to a hotel. Overall fine. In addition, the Skógafoss waterfall is a 5-minute walk away and there is a Spanish receptionist.

Value for money is exaggerated. There are only two bathrooms per floor, one male and one female, it is as many showers. The cleanliness leaves something to be desired both in the rooms and, it is above all, in the common spaces. Breakfast aside it's very expensive it's the coup de grace that permanently sinks my judgment on the hotel.

An okay stay, rooms are big, breakfast is good and the staff is friendly. Although it's more like a hostel, we stayed here 2 night, they didnt came in to room to clean after the first night, we had no private bathroom and the hot water has a weird smell (? ). An okay stay.

Rooms are clean and tidy. Unfortunately the hotel misses a bit of ambiance. This was one of the reasons why we decided to have our diner somewhere else.

Nice place, normally there are shared bathrooms but we ended up with one to ourselves.

We cannot share each other's opinions. What do you expect in a school building? Upscale standard? Importantly, it's clean and that's it. Everyone was super nice and helpful. Breakfast like dinner class.

Nice hotel that is used as a school in the winter time, and good staff. Good stay for the price. Beautiful surroundings.

This is a hostel, not a hotel, but it's priced as a hotel. It smelled moldy, the heater didn't work. There were two showers and toilets for about 15 rooms. The toilets didn't flush well. It's "converted” dorm rooms, but nothing's been converted. I felt just like freshman year move in day, complete with cement-linoleum and a cheap clip-on desk lamp attached to an Ikea-style bookshelf. They only get away with the prices because there are so few options in that area.

We stayed in an overpriced room with shared bathroom and shower (1 of each per ~15-20 rooms). Breakfast was not included and was too expensive for the food.

Friendly helpful staff, average but clean rooms. Shared bathroom and shower were not the cleanest. Every door in the building slams into the frame/wall and sounds like falling boulders. Nearly impossible to navigate quietly at night.

Staff was extremely kind and helpful. Room was clean and included a sink, shampoo, and towels. Dorm style bathrooms and one shower. Small building with only a few other rooms so sharing wasn't an issue, never saw any other the other guests.

This, like the entire chain Edda, is a strategic hotel because close to attractions of the region you are visiting. Spacious rooms, bathrooms (common for the solution I booked) clean.

There are 3 buildings here, you can ONLY have hot water, free Wi-Fi at the main building. It is extremely RIDICULOUS and inconvinient. I would not recommend here for stay and you have much better choices!

The personell is very friendly, but everything else is poor: twice the daily room service forgot our room, the rooms are extremely small and the breakfast is average at best. I cannot recommend it at all.

Good place for a small stop in your trip.

Very basic but the breakfast is amazing.

All rooms are for two-people and identical size. Scenery is great. The kitchen is for staff only and there's no Wi-Fi.
