Me and my friends stayed at Lyngholt guesthouse for one night. Our host was extremely helpful and welcoming, The rooms were affordable, very clean and comfortable. The shared kitchen area allowed us to cook our own meal and there was a coffee machine there with great coffee and a nice and cozy sitting area. I recommend staying at Lyngholt and I will definitely go back when I am at the North East of Iceland.
What an amazing stay it was! Guesthouse Lyngholt is located in Þórshöfn which is not a very touristy town. If you are looking for peace & comfort, this is place for you. The rooms were very clean & comfortable. The guesthouse is very beautifully decorated. It is a family run place hence there's a homely feeling in there as well. The kitchen is great! You can cook anything you want because its filled with everything. The supermarket is just 5 mins away from the guesthouse. They also have parking place for cars.
