The Worst hotel! I have been to many hotels in Budapest, but this, albeit 3 stars, but the attitude to the guests as to the trash! I arrived in the period 7-10 June and the fact that the air conditioners did not work in the hotel was written at once and on the reception and in the elevator. On the second day said the receptionist that open the windows, cool at night! We listened, but the windows overlooked the patio of some restaurant with loud music that stopped playing at 02-30 in the night! The next day at the request to bring to the room at least a fan, the administrator replied that there is one and not someone to go to the store of electrical goods!
On the third day the situation has not changed!
There was a day off and for breakfast I came to take a coffee with a sandwich, on which the canteen worker (elderly grandfather) pointed me to an ad which stated that it contradicts the rules of the hotel! In the elevated tones I was told that I have 10 mins for breakfast and the dining room closes and if not-all the food awaits me in the street! That's all right?
That's not all! ) ) ) )
On reception the administrator apologized for the conflict in the dining room and said that grandpa-the owner of the hotel and he decides about the rules!
Do not recommend this hotel to ANYONE! (€80 per day)
Good location in the city can be found in dozens of other hotels!

Looking good but air conditioning not working and staff not so helpful — it was hard to get breakfast for our group before 7 o'clock when it normally starts. During weekends in some rooms very loud music getting from local clubs and it is hard to sleep.

The staff is polite. The location is convenient. It is impossible to sleep from behind discos. The latter kills everything pleasant.

We had a great stay in Budapest, we stayed 6 nights at the hotel Queen Mary. The staff is very nice, pleasant and welcoming, the breakfast is very good. The rooms are nice and spacious, and the bedding is very comfortable. The street is not noisy yet, nearby there are many bars and restaurants. The centre is really not far away, we did everything on foot for 6 days! Unfortunately, to our surprise, the room is not made everyday, the toilets have not been cleaned once in the week, towels and linen not changed, and cleaning not done, but the person in charge of the cleaning was fold the duvet and put the toilet paper. We regret having had young neighbors extremely noisy (several rooms of young approximately 20 year) for the past two nights. They have not stopped going up and down smoking, in plain view, they were doing their evening in the room, instead go to the bar, they even bought wine to the hotel reception, it is like this that we have seen that the evening was happening in the rooms.

You cannot sleep in this hotel. There are 2 nightclubs that are open all night next door. The people are nice here. It is sad. How can they live in Budapest like this?

The hotel is located in the center of the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The receptionists speak excellent English. The neighborhoods around the hotel are crowded with bars, clubs and restaurants. In case of need, all the nightlife of Budapest at arm's length, while in the room it is not audible. To the right of the hotel entrance is the Cuban theatre. Highly recommended.

Very clean place crisp service well located near Jewish restaurants and synagogue lower price range. No luxury but delicious cold drinks in fridge.

The girls at the reception were friendly. Apparently I had the best room with the terrace but I could hear the traffic. Asked to change the room but apparently there is a club at the other side and its noisier. Towels are changed every three days! No bin in the room! No do not disturb sign! Everything is basic and the hotel is old. I do not recommend it and I made a last minute booking and ended up here.

It's a hard track. Simple but tasty breakfast. The location is excellent.

Convenient location, outdated the structure. I was placed in the attic in rooms not comfortable, old bedding.
The horrendous breakfast, with long storage milk and no dessert if not some biscuits.

Nice place and convenient location. The parliament and Danube River are on about 30 minutes by walk. There are a lot of restaurants and shops around. Nearby there is a bus, tram and trolleybus connections. The rooms are clean. The breakfast is also good. The staff is polite. The only small negative is their slow reaction when we need to add some hotel toiletries. When the liquid soap finished we waited till the next day, and had to remind them a few times. But overall, for that price is very good!

Very clean, they changed sheets every day, very good breakfast. Location is perfect. You don't need metro or tram… I'm very satisfied.

It happened last year! — worst experience I spent one night in Queen Mary Hotel. I chose this place as it is in the VII. Dictrict in Central Budapest. Everyting is just a walking distance away (Andrassy street, Erzsebet square, St. Stephen Church, Vaci street etc). My room was ready at 2 pm and the recepcionist was very helpful, kind and friendly. I found my room and the hotel a little bit old-fashioned. But my room was clean and nice. The bed was alright, nothing special. The breakfast is just a quick –easy breakfast, a little someting to grab. You can choose from cereal, yoghurt, rolls with marmalade etc and coffee+orange juice+tea. I would say everything was alright. The employees worked hard to keep up the hotel. But hotel owner is very different. He is a kind of boss who used verbal abuse on his staff. The owner is pretty rude and a bit agressive and he can loose his temperature so easy. Obviously the owner cant deal with his guest and his staff too. I can speak Hungarian so I could understand everything and I was pissed off to hear the boss (owner) talking to his recepcionist. I really dont believe that verbal abuse is a way of achieving the good service. The boss was blackmailing the recepcionist and told him „You can pick up your coat now and leave. You do a bad a job here”. And the worst thing is everything happaned just in front of me. I am sorry but If you have problem with your people try to solve it after the working hours and try to be diplomatic.

The building and rooms are ok. But… We had broken lightbulbs in both the rooms we had. The Wi-Fi is so week that it doesn't cover the room. The safe is located on the floor in the wardrobe. Check out is early (at 10.00) and there is no secure storage room if you want to leave the bags for later pickip. The door to one of the rooms could almost not be closed.

Great Hotel for its central location, modest prices and 3 star quality!

Services are very good and friendly. Cleaning everyday. A little bit far away from city center. Weekends were noisy on the midnight if there was a party in the bar.

The blankets are too short, unless you're under 1.55m you better bring one yourself. I got lucky with the last one. You may get lucky too? but I wouldn't bet on it again.

The worst hotel I've ever been! The staff are very arrogant and rude. Rooms messy. There is nothing positive, except price and (maybe) location.
