We could literally hear every word the neighbours were saying, on both sides. It was terrible. We did not sleep well those 3 (! ) nights. The curtains were too small to actually close them… Also everything else was very old and squeaky. Not worth the money. Room 418

Not luxurious but nice hotel and perfect for a short trip. Rooms are very neat and clean. Breakfast could have been better. The receptionists are very polite. Good service.

This is a large hotel opposite the Budapest train station. Even though it is located in a busy area with lots of traffic, the hotel is wonderfully quiet. The staff is nice and the rooms are clean. Our room was also spacious. A disadvantage is that the breakfast room is small when a lot of people stay at the weekend.

Good hotel for a little money. The room is quite spacious and clean. There was a safe in the room. A perfectly good breakfast (buffet). Convenient location immediately near 2 metro stations (different branches). Very responsive staff. Provided an electric kettle, printed boarding passes. There is also a room where you can leave your belongings after the eviction and before departure.

I have been at baross hotel for 3 nights, the crew were wonderful and happy to help with directions with a smile. The rooms are clean and the breakfast was great. The location right next to keleti railway station is perfect and it's easy to get anywhere in the city. i am planning to visit again soon. i was at room 618 and I will add picture of the view from that room :)

Great location but definitely very basic the structure.

My sister in law came here on a hen do and booked 3 apartments with 2 rooms each. They were robbed while they slept. All phones and purses gone one of which was on the bed with a girl asleep. Hotel was very unhelpful and didn’t want to call the police. There was a security guard on the door the whole time but you only had to knock on for door for him to open with no questioning or Id needed. Two of the rooms had no hot water. A real shame as the pictures looked so nice and the robbery pretty much ruined a lovely weekend which should of been memorable for different reasons! AVOID!

Located next to Budapest Central Station, the old buildings, converted into hotels, nearly hundred rooms, not luxurious, but is clean, especially with breakfast, also quite rich. Located in the noisy area, life is convenient, the first choice for backpackers, big push.

I arrived a bit after midnight, I booked a room for 1 night 1 person. The room they gave me had spiders and ants in it. It was on the last floor, it was summer and the temperature was unbearable in the room. I was too tired and I just stayed for one night, I dont know if that was the reason that this room was given to me, but I will never go back to this hotel again.

Whilst not a holiday inn class hotel, it is very reasonable, staff are pleasant, Wi-Fi is excellent and there is even a smart phone in the room for you take around the city. It is right next to the train station with a 25 min walk to the river. The rooms are looking a bit tired and so are the soft furnishings (towels, bed linen etc) But for the price you get what you pay for.

Located in front of the station so it is easy to go from one side to another by subway. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only detail is that it's located in the 5th. Floor.

Super nice stuff, nice breakfast! Affordable and you get a normal service for that. Good for young tourists. The walls are really thin so don't be noisy!

The ambiance and comfort is fabulous. Convenient to Keleti train station and subway. Delicious breakfast and clean rooms; even provided a free local smart phone to use in the city. The staff is very friendly. Just a tip: reception is on 5th floor.

Fantastic location, just across the road from the main railway station and the metro is just outside the door! Starbucks, Burger King etc just around the corner. Some great little bars and restaurants a short walk away. The rooms are fine, breakfast is good value with lots of choice. It is a bit noisy, the walls between rooms quite thin but overall a great base for a few days in Budapest.

Good value for the price, excellent location. The staff is very helpful, I forgot my jacket in the room and they sent it to me for free! The entrance is a little hard to find (it's in an apartment building) and the furniture is rather old and used. Also the room was a little noisy (A/C and traffic from the street)

Everything very good! The stuff English spoken, the rooms is clean and have air conditioner's. Quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Good to stay with friends, or business travels.

One of the Worst hotel stays ever! Hotel is very Close to the train station. The área around the hotel and the station is old, dirty and feels unsafe/dangerous. On arrival to the hotel we were greeted by a very rude and unfriendly security man. Reception lady was helpful and kept our baggage in a locked room until check — in time. The building itself is old and dirty seems like it's about to fall anytime. The room was big but also old and dirty. Door did not closed properly. The shower head waa Broken (leading to nearly no water coming out of the shower) and, even though we reported it straight away to the reception lady, nothing was done about it. I Will definitely not come back to this hotel and advise everyone to stay away from it. It's cheap but not worth it.

Nice cool rooms and pretty Clean, right near the train station! Would stay here again because of the location.

Large rooms, friendly staff and good central location — highly recommended!

Hotel was ok. Typical 3 stars. Though they give u 3 drops of shampoo daily.
When it comes to hospitality, they fail big time. They don't smile. Ever. They barely look at u when u talk to them.
We ordered towels the last day. They said "no towels coz u are leaving".
Very rude staff and receptionists.

Great hotel for the price. Location is good, staff is friendly. Only "downside" would be the quality of the breakfast, which was a bit underwhelming. But since it's included in the already cheap price, it's not a big issue really. Overall a good experience and we will recommend.

Cheap and clean. Location near train station, Metro and bus… but also walking is not far from the more central areas. Breakfast was good Recommended.

Places close to the transport (Metro bus train) clean interior and comfortable room except that the bed is hard and the walls too thin but hotel welcome. I recommend.

Not exactly the best in terms of cleaning… but ok.

The hotel is generally OK, there is Wi-Fi, everything you need. Located in 2 minutes from the metro (end of M4). But if you go to Breakfast and asked to collect him — they will give you old sandwiches that morning made her residents and they were selected. As night porter will try to deceive you with a travel fee (we had to pay 570 HUF, and it required 4 times as much). On the morning of 570 paid by check. They spoil the impression much. The rest — everything is fine. Be careful.

Far from the Centre but with good connections to 1 min, station, metro and bus. Room and bathroom clean and comfortable. Something dirty walls and carpet. Poor breakfast. Good quality price.
