Visited here last year. Beautiful Island. I will certainly go back. Loggerhead Turtles can be seen hear. They lay their eggs on the beach so that area is out of bounds for part of the year. Would certainly recommend a boat trip. 30 euros will give you 3 hours. Amazing scenery. Zakinthos town well worth a visit. Usual extremely friendly Greek people.

Great island with variety of nightlife and great beaches. Relatively small and is great for vacations. People are nice.

An absolutely beautiful place. You can not go to the island with visiting this gorgeous beach with amazing views of the blue caves on the way. The water is a breathtaking blue and no photo does this place any justice. I would go back in a heart beat if I could. Paradise.

A great island with gorgeous beaches.

In early July 2008, my father and I went on a holiday in this Greek island and we had a good time over there. The weather was hot and I got badly sunburned and it was really painful but luckily I didn't get a skin cancer. Next time I will bring a sunscreen (50+) when I am going on a holiday in Greece. We're the visitors from Ireland!

Stunning island breathtaking views friendly people only downside is if you go out of season it's a ghost town and absolutely no halal food or meat anywhere on the island I searched the whole island and even ventured in to villages to ask for a live chicken to make halal.

The most beautiful place I have ever seen. It is straight magical when you are here! everything is so beautiful! the view from the top of the cliff looking down at the shipwreck is just amazing1 pictures and videos will not do it justice! you must go to Zakinthos when you visit greece! Bucket list worthy!

It has all things for all types, good bars, nice restaurant's &plenty of night life for the young buggers. As for us oldies there are some good quiet bars to relax in the evening's. But the best thing is the Sun & the good beaches & warm seas.

Amazing place to visit. For students who want to have fun, but also for those who want to see some amazing natural beaches. There are a lot of options of rental service (transportation), and it really pays off to see the whole island.

The island of Zakynthos, also known in Italy as Zakynthos, is a true naturalistic paradise. Famous for its beautiful beaches and fascinating landscapes, it has wonderful white cliffs and forested mountains that descend towards a turquoise sea postcard and has a very ancient history and epic legends as well as picturesque towns.

Too touristy. They've got it smashed.

To visit the wreck by boat is totally overrated. Many tourist boats…
Having a rental car to explore the island is much more fun and you can keep it where it is beautiful!

Simply stunning all around. People real friendly. Beautiful place.

Zante is beautiful. I recommend you to visit a small island full of great beauty and striking views you eat well and the people are friendly… a separate chapter to laganas that looks like a small Ibiza is full of british drunks. But except this nice of transgression, the rest of the island is both romantic and welcoming… whether you are couples, groups of friends or families… If you are not festaglioli the calliti I advise you to stay away from Laganas. Otherwise. You will have fun even them.

L the environment is amazing, the sea, the beaches, the hills and the climate make it a place from the postcard. Unfortunately, however, the merchants of this beautiful island do all they can to "remove" the tourism prices spropositamente dear in terms of excursions or simple coffee, and not the best service. Not very friendly. But, to repeat, is a beautiful island, it is worth it.

A beautiful little island with great flair and nice people. Nice restaurants with good food. There is also a beach where water turtles lay their eggs. Worth seeing Island!

Amazing location, with yellow sand and a crystal clear turquoise sea. A small but very busy island. You can hire a boat to cruize around the smaller island surrounding zakynthos. Also it's a good idea to go snorkeling, or better, scuba diving so you can plunge into another world and have amazing experiences.

Amazing beaches with crystal clear water and white sand. Nice small villages with beautiful nature! The life on the island is quite affordable. There are good restaurants though, serving delicious sea food.  Definitely worth a visit… at least once in a lifetime!

Amazing place to see and if you rent a car you can see the whole island. I recommend to drive around and see all you can.

Possibly some of the best beaches on the world, foodwise you can find almost anything you might like and normally at really good prices. The roads could be a lot better though, and some more museums and other activities would be welcome.

The Greek island really beautiful. There are many beaches with many possibilities of choice from the sandy white, crystalline, with cliffs overlooking the sea. Quiet place but at the same time full of night life. The beautiful harbour of Zakynthos, the chaotic August. What can I say? Don't miss a holiday in Zante…

The Greek island beautiful of the Ionian sea. It is not easily accessible from Italy. However. Once the show is truly immense. There is something for all tastes for those who want to have fun in places of worldly, but also for those who want to rest in places pristine. Strongly recommended at least once in your life.

Go to Porto Roxa and sleep in the huts on the outdoor beach.

Beautiful island, very characteristic and wild, quite mountainous and with a beautiful sea, excellent to pass holidays in the name of relaxation, fun and discovery.

One of the most beautiful of Greek Islands that I have had the privilege to visiting, it definitely has Wow factor, highly recommended.

Recently returned from holiday in Zakynthos and we loved it! We stayed at the Tsvili Beach hotel with was amazing (see my review) The people are so warm and friendly and there is plenty to see n do. We visited ship Wreck beach, whent turtle watching, and did a tour of the island with our holiday company Tu I. Strongly recommend for couples and families with small kids.

Fantastic beaches, tasty local foods and sweets. You'll need a vehicle to travel around. Be aware, it's packed in August.

Zakynthos is one of the most beautiful islands in Greece and you should have been there one time… the pictures speak for themselves. Except in Spain you can marvel at the Caretta water turtle here on Zakynthos.

You come to Zakynthos for the wonderful sea colors truly unique! You will not find the classic white and blue houses but the same kitchen and welcome. If you don't like noisy locals avoid Laganas even as beach nothing exceptional. Everything else is wonderful. To the beach of the wreck board departure from Porto Vromi the blue Caves from that point are wonderful, cost boat from 30 people 20 apiece. Sure if you have the option take boat rental three or four hours, they are money well spent. Cars or motorcycles are a must if you want to see every corner of Zakynthos and it's worth believe me. Hello.

Beautiful Island
It was a nice week and quiet crystal clear sea fun in the evening, and then the beautiful beach of Navagio (shipwreck) an Inca you reach only from the sea, a place to see.
