We stayed here for 2 weeks. The location was stunning. However 2 weeks was too long. I would recommend no more than 3 days. It is at the end of a 2km rough lane and then a 20 minute drive to the nearest town, there is a village closer, but very little in that. It has a lovely but small pool and nice bar area, albeit very quiet, people stay in their accomodation and we saw hardly anyone about. Internet access is dire, even up at bar area. Our Villa was ok. Tired. One night a group of young men rented the villa next to us and partied until 4:30. The staff did nothing about this. We called the reception but got no response. The following day the staff said they heard the commotion, but did nothing about it. The view from our balcony was stunning, and sitting at night drinking wine and looking at the stars, listening to the wildlife was very relaxing. There is no local information in English. We would recommend it as a place for 2 or 3 days as part of a tour.
Lovely place to get away from everyday life. Georgia is a fantastic woman who treats you like a person and makes you very welcome. Fantastic place great for a holiday.

We stayed for two weeks at estate kares, I would recommend no more than 2-3 days max if you are doing a touring holiday. Its down a really tough track, which a couple of times would be ok but not every day for 2 weeks. The views are stunning and the bar and pool have a great position. There isn't a word of English in the tourist information, so you need to research the island by yourself, but beware the internet is next to non existant. The accommodation has an unfinished and dated feel, the aircon kept us awake and there was never enough hot water to last all day. Bins were emptied infrequently and the accommodation was grimy and dirty. It was perfect drinking a glass of wine in the balcony late in the evening, so peaceful and fantastic dark skies. Our stay was marred by a large group of young men who stayed in the next door property on a Saturday night. They sang karaoke on the balcony through a loud speaker until 4.30am and it sounded like they were trashing the place. We called the manager who didn't answer and next day we had to approach them to complain. We were just told the guys were leaving that day, and what could they have done, totally unacceptable. The place has no atmosphere, people don't sit in the bar and mix. This place could be so much better.
