The best "hotel" I was ever allowed to visit. A family business that is run with a great deal of diligence and love. We arrived at night and there was no problem that a member of staff stayed awake to check us in and even prepared a small snack, was never up for discussion, it was simply offered immediately. The hosts take their time and are open to all wishes and give very good insider tips for excursion destinations. It is normal for them to sit down with one and discuss together on a map where there are good destinations, beaches and restaurants and then give you everything you need (stand towels, umbrella, etc. ). The rooms are extremely large, very nice and clean. You just feel comfortable here. Highly recommended!

The staff is extremely friendly and hospitable. Rooms are in an amazing antique style setting, spacious and well equipped. There is an extra charge for the breakfast but I recommend to take it, as it is absolutely amazing. Freshly baked pies and locally sourced vegetables, yoghourt, cheese and fruits. Location is also very conveniently placed in the centre of the town.

Some hotels call themselves 'boutique' when they really mean 'cramped'. Not so Casa Moazzo — here 'boutique' means 'spacious', 'private', 'friendly', 'timeless' and 'special'. Highly recommended!

After a one week stay at Casa Moazzo, I knew I had to write a review! The SERVICE: As everyone raves in previous reviews, Anna and her team do a stand out job at making you feel at home and welcomed. I cannot stress this enough, Anna and her family and team make you part of the family at Casa Moazzo. Anna knows Crete very well and gave us recommendations for restaurants and places to visit to cater to our personal needs. Every morning she greeted me with a smile and was genuinely interested in conversation. I'm telling you, you can feel the love here! The location: Its conveniently located in downtown Rethymnon. You can virtually walk to everything; the waterside, archaeological museum, restaurants, shops, markets, and nearby beaches. On Thursdays, there is a huge outdoor market held in the large parking lot that is a short walk up three streets. The hotel: Most importantly, everything is impeccably clean and in good condition. The rooms are spacious, air conditioned, lit with sunlight and tastefully decorated with colors and large chandeliersand a swing out flat screen TV that has over 500 channels. The bathroom has a large old fashioned porcelain tub with all the bells and whistles attached. Korres products are supplied every day and Anna and her staff went the extra mile to refill our freezer with ice (without us even asking) because my husband was using ice for his raki. The courtyard is charming and filled with interesting plants and paintings.
