Review of Casa Moazzo Suites and Apartments 4*

After a one week stay at Casa Moazzo, I knew I had to write a review! The SERVICE: As everyone raves in previous reviews, Anna and her team do a stand out job at making you feel at home and welcomed. I cannot stress this enough, Anna and her family and team make you part of the family at Casa Moazzo. Anna knows Crete very well and gave us recommendations for restaurants and places to visit to cater to our personal needs. Every morning she greeted me with a smile and was genuinely interested in conversation. I'm telling you, you can feel the love here! The location: Its conveniently located in downtown Rethymnon. You can virtually walk to everything; the waterside, archaeological museum, restaurants, shops, markets, and nearby beaches. On Thursdays, there is a huge outdoor market held in the large parking lot that is a short walk up three streets. The hotel: Most importantly, everything is impeccably clean and in good condition. The rooms are spacious, air conditioned, lit with sunlight and tastefully decorated with colors and large chandeliersand a swing out flat screen TV that has over 500 channels. The bathroom has a large old fashioned porcelain tub with all the bells and whistles attached. Korres products are supplied every day and Anna and her staff went the extra mile to refill our freezer with ice (without us even asking) because my husband was using ice for his raki. The courtyard is charming and filled with interesting plants and paintings. During the day, the courtyard door is left open to the street and people that pass by stop to take pictures because of the courtyard's charm! The breakfast: I adored having breakfast here. Hrissi seems to run the show at breakfast and she makes sure you are well fed and happy with your meal. She and her blonde coworker make fresh orange juice, eggs (prepared any way you like), crepes, yogurt, cereal, local cheeses, meats and local pastries and breads from "the furnos" down the street. It was a dining experience that flourishes on customer service from the heart. I didn't want to leave. I cannot say enough about how much I enjoyed my stay.
