We had a blast at your nice hotel. We loved the pool and the good beds. Nice staff as well.

Nice hotel, room and bathroom.

The walls are like cigarette paper and you can hear the neighbors making their needs in the toilet.
Lots of moisture after the shower if you close the Windows for the night…
2 nights in this hotel, we change the sheets while it is up to us to make our bed and we do not change the towels that remained humid 24h…
In short, we are disappointed with the establishment but not the city and its surroundings.

Booking made on booking, error booking on the date, we noticed immediately our error, and asked if it was possible to do something. The owner told us that it was too many papers and so that he could not.

Very nice place with a nice pool and close enough to the sea. The rooms are sufficiently cozy, with TV, Wi-Fi and air conditioning. The bathrooms as usual in Greece leave a lot to be desired, but overall I liked it.

In a great location to be able to visit the city on foot. The rooms are quite large but a bit outdated. Really nice pool corner.

Extremely bad experience. In our Family Room there were 3 beds instead of 4 as on the booking. The fourth was a cot. All the mattresses were terrible, with the springs piercing the back, the cot is almost unusable even for a 20 kg baby as it is worn out. The room is exposed in the south, so it's torrid. At least there is the air conditioner, but it has not been cleaned for years, it has molds inside and smells. Unusable. The bathroom is small and lousy, even getting a shower becomes a problem. During the holiday the room have not been cleaned, neither the garbage taken away. The pool, built only to put the photos on the site is poorly kept, dirty, with a quantity of chlorine, put in uncontrolled way, which irritates as soon as the bath extends somewhat. Breakfast and meals are of low quality and prepared without any attention. The staff is exremely unkind, especially the girl at the reception, who with a fake smile of circumstance refuses to give any kind of service. Never had such a bad hospitality from a Greek. Carefully avoid dinner. Poor cook and impossible hours. The staff lacks the slightest desire and ability to do everithing. On the online booking sites rated two stars, on the private site rated three stars resort (ah, ah, fool), behind the door I find the Greek Tourist Board sheet with a rating of one (1) star and the cost of the room 50€ instead of the 137€ paid. Everything documented.

We were there between 19 & 20/07/2017 for an overnight stay. The hotel is located in a valley valley but only about 200m away from the beach, very quiet and relatively windbreaker. We got a room after we called at short notice. The room and beds, as well as the shower, were clean. There was even a refrigerator but no TV, which is not bad, because once you were in Matala, you don't need it. The room was very spacious for 2 people. Very big. We had a balcony with clothesline. Room was TOP! There was a pool (clean and relatively large) that we could even use partly alone, as there was no one:D At the bar there were then the drinks for the pool:D The early stuck was good and the choice was sufficiently large. The operator and everyone else were very nice. All in all, price — performance 5 stars. Keep it up!

Disgraceful way to treat people. PAID for my room for the festival but was delayed travelling from UK. Not even 24hrs late … So they decided to rent my room out to another, leaving me no-where to go and not even give me my money back… So upset, The owners should return my money and do the right thing. No heart and so rude : (

Small rooms with minimal services. Horrible breakfast. No room service (room remained uncleaned) Nice small pool.

Just back. Didn't want to leave. The numerous Dimitris are wonderfull and everybody made me so welcome. The location is perfect, peaceful and close to town. Without a doubt I will be back. Thank you for generous company.

Lovely relaxing place with great pool.

Very friendly hotel, less than a five minute walk to the beach and village centre. Rooms regularly cleaned, staff very friendly and helpful. Fridge, air conditioning, private bathrooms and balconies. Will be back!

Not far from town and beach. Clean room but only twice a week a clean towel.

Best value in Crete. Clean, comfortable, friendly staff, great breakfast, beautiful poo, excellent Wi-Fi in rooml and a short 5 minute walk to downtown Matala. What a bargain — I liked it better than the 5 star places we stayed at.

Super dear family hotel-mother and daughter lead the idyllic spot, with Breakfast almost perfect. New, large wooden bar in the hands of the highly intelligent/pretty daughter. Warmth, great atmosphere, nice Pool and super cheap, somewhat secluded (quiet), clean and relatively large room round out the individual platzerl.

These guys were horrible! After I got a CONFIRMATION FROM TRAVELOCITY, I showed up to find no one, had to SLEEP IN MY CAR, and then got YELLED AT by the horribly rude woman at the reception the next morning, because I called her late at night! Imagine that, I called her because her hotel was empty when a confirmed guest arrived. Indeed, how rude of me. DV claimed that I had no confirmed reservation — in other words, they claim that Travelocity screwed up — I am sure this is true, but that's hardly my fault as the customer! It is DV's responsibility to deal with Travelocity in such a way that doesn't harm guests, and if it does harm guests, it is their responsibility perhaps NOT YELL AT THE GUESTS. Her level of rudeness and lack of professionalism was truly breathtaking. As a positive note, Matala beach is right near by (quick walk! ) and it truly amazing beach, do not miss the gorgeous red beach trail. Amazing.

The beach of Matala, but quiet and nice room without shady Pergola. Good hearty breakfast. Owner very kind. Nice pool. The only drawback to repair the shower hook.

Great place to stay! Friendly, family run establishment. Nice rooom and great food.
