This hotel is really a nice place to spend your holiday. Very friendly staff who put in a lot of effort to make your stay unforgettable. This hotel is located at the beach and all the sunbeds are free of charge. In the morning they serve a very good breakfast which you can enjoy outside on the terras. If you have any question do not hesitate asking the staff, they can give you directions to nice places to visit. They offer very good food during lunch and dinner against reasonable prices. The rooms are well equipped and the beds make you sleep like a rose. The owner, Christos, knows a lot about Crete and is always willing helping you out finding interesting locations to visit. There are many hidden ‘gems’ on the island. You can stroll along the white sandy beaches and visit nearby shops. We had a great time and will return without a doubt. Don’t look any further, it will be hard finding a better location for the price they charge you. We went away with a very happy feeling. Thank you all.

Perfect stay for the whole Family.
We were 10 people, with different ages and different wishes. But the team made everything happened… The team was so nice, the view from the hotel room just perfect. The food was very fresh and very tasty.
Food was excellent here… we tried some restaurants around, but no one was better than them. Our favourite dish: snails, seafood and Tabasco… I am a passionate cooker and eater, and it was my first trip, where I could say, I could not do better at home. It was simple, but it was on point. Definitely not the last visit!

For the last 9 years I’ve headed here each year for a glass of wine in the beach. Wonderful food, lovely friendly staff, nothing feels like too much trouble. Next year will get round to trying the hotel and not just the beach bar.

I would like to describe my impressions as fully as possible, from what this assessment was formed. For a long time I wanted to get to this hotel, read reviews and behold. Got. Literally and figuratively. Took a tour through a Coral representative, and they in turn through Ambotis. Well, to Greece, we were on our way for the first time, which we didn't know. The requirements we had were: 1 line of the sea, sea view Sea View, breakfast-dinner, because together with a daughter without a husband drove, did not want to mess around in search of food. To the bottom line. Arrived well, arrived quickly, the settlement waited for 4 hours, well, well, the rules are rules, for the sake of a chic look fashionable and wait, for all paid! Nature — weather — sea — 1 line, all so. But the room was given on the ground floor side overlooking the hotel parking lot and nearby municipal parking. And they say there are no others and that's it, take this one and rejoice. The tax was taken immediately, then I probably wouldn't pay anything. I'll tell you right away, you want to conde-pay, you want a safe — pay, you want tea — pay, and with the fact that the ticket is not cheap! After much deliberation with coral representatives in Moscow, Ambotis in Greece and aptera host Christ, we were moved into this 105 room overlooking the parking lot, promising that in 3 days we would sleep above the floor but with the same view. They don't have numbers and that's it!

Very nice hotel. Administration on high level. Rooms clean. Food taste. Next time I will come in the same place.

The location was terrific, right near the beach and only a 20 min drive to heraklion. The people who worked there were very friendly and cound help us out with a lot of things, for instance how to get a bus ticket and what is in the area. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and hopefully go again to the Aptera Beach Hotel.

The penthouse room is beautiful and very clean. Nice view and quiet. Very friendly personnel. Idealy located for a round trip with the car.

It's a wonderful place. Everything is properly organized. Home friendly atmosphere. Everything is clean and neat. No show-off. The beds are nice, the balconies are spacious. The sea is always there, noisy and splashing.

Lovely hotel near beach, very good and tasty food.

The room is clean. New furniture. It's a gorgeous bed. For two-storey children. They clean up every other day. To the sea 1 minute. The beach is clean. The beds are comfortable. There are no beach towels.

Wonderful place in front of the beach. The rooms were very nice with balconies and great views of the Cretan sea. The food is excellent and the service superb. The prices are reasonable for a beach front property. We love this place and we highly recommend it.

We stayed in room 106 and I think is the worst hotel I've ever been to. I felt like in a hospital. Big and empty room with inventory from last century, very bad mattres, old and looking dirty bathroom. The sea view balcony was a joke because there is a tree which is blocking the view so you see only a small corner. The only goodish part is near the sea and in the night of you go on the balcony you hear the waves. And the price. To expensive for what it is. Overall … never going back.

Great location right on the beach.

Had a brilliant 2 nights at this hotel, the location is right on a sandy beach and the rooms are spacious and great value. The hotel restaurant is right on the waterfront and offers a delicious array of both western and traditional Cretan cuisine. Cristos, Vasili and Kosta who run the hotel, showed us hospitality that was second to none. Really can't rate them high enough. If you're in Crete, be sure to check this place out 10/10.

This is my second review, so sorry if the previous will pop up but I waited a week with no show, and now I'm rewriting my comment. Mostly because I want people to know Aptera Beach Hotel is an amazing place, with wonderful people. Sadly I stayed only one week and I was by myself, but never I've been treated with such kindness and politeness from an hotel staff. Also my room was amazing, sparkling clean and the food is top class. So thanks again Christos and Vassilis (both), will see you soon!

Location is OK and the beach is nice but the rooms are outdated (oxidized faucet, no shower holder, …) and smelly.

Super-friendly service, perfect location.
