The only rude person I've met in Greece was at their reception desk. The street is filthy, unsafe to leave the car overnight. The room was nothing like the pictures and the outside view was on a pile of garbage. Worse experience!

Simple hotel but very clean. Toiletries provided, effective AC (very important in this heat! ) and a good variety of sweet and savoury, hot and cold food for breakfast. Staff were very warm and welcoming. Only gripe was that although a kettle was offered, there were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Mediocre rooms, mediocre breakfast. The lady sitting at the reception is rude!

They have hot water. The rooms are too small. It's located in Athens.

I'm happy of my staying in the hotel, it so clean, the staff are so careffuly. I will returned with pleasure again.

The hotel is good. But I advise everyone to beware of walking in the evening in the area, especially near the subway. It's a very criminal place — I've tried to snatch a suitcase from my hands twice. The hotel itself is pleasant and quiet. Only I wouldn't pick this neighborhood for a second time.

The hotel is just a few meters from the metro so it's very easy to move, the area is not the best but it is quiet … The employees are very friendly they don't speak Italian but only English. Clean breakfast hotel plentiful (no croissants)

In principle, the hotel itself is not bad for its price. The area is covered in graffiti and a lot of garbage, in the evening is not very pleasant outside. But the subway is nearby. Breakfasts are not the best, mostly all for sandwiches, no even porridge. But for a few nights it's quite normal.

Nice hotel to the price. Silent aircon and good breakfast.

Decent value for money.
Perfect for a weekend or a few days.
Not a bad neighborhood but close to the Acropolis.
The service is OK, breakfast and dinner friendly as the staff.
Wi-Fi is free and excellent.

Athens itself was disappointing and so were the pillows at the hotel but otherwise, they were friendly, accomadating, clean, kind and helpful.

The hotel is very clean and cozy. The size of the rooms is large enough (bathroom is slightly more spacious) and some rooms even have views of the small alleyway leading to the hotel. The food is delicious, partly also national and quickly gets fed up. The only deficiencies that is why I give the Hotel Somomou only 4 stars are the rarely functioning Wlan and the not so appealing area. But the famous sights are only about 20 minutes away and very easy to find.

Very noisy as poorly insulated shower and not very convenient bed 140 damage and tele one can too high breakfast ok but friendly staff.

Simple but clean hotel with very friendly hosts. Very flexible when it comes to changing rooms (room with balcony was no problem).
But the mattresses are getting used to.
Breakfast is very simple but you will be fed up.
The area is not the most beautiful but one is in 10 minutes walk on the edge of the center.
We would stay here again.

Friendly staff, nice facilities, comfortable bed. It’s in a dodgy area of Athens but it’s safe. Breakfast is the best I’ve had in all the hotels I stayed at in Athens (stayed at like 5 hotels at least)

A very nice place. Good atmosphere and very good and courteous staff. I strongly recommend this place I spent an unforgettable 2 days. I would go again.

This is a perfectly fine budget hotel when visiting Athens. The staff is friendly, the air con is good and they have a nice roof to sit and have drinks at.

Not treated me well I had a problem I asked for help I wanted to help.

It is a simple hotel in a central location. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast buffet does not have the mega selection, but it is enough to be satiated. From the roof terrace you can even have a minimal view of the Acropolis. The staff was very nice. In the hotel there was water, wine, etc. To buy.

Very, very clean hotel! Very polite employees. Great price. Some problems with the Wi-Fi, they have to work on it to get to the top floors. Very busy part of Athens, but quiet at night. On the streets around all different kinds of people minding their business. We came back to the hotel at night, two women alone, absolutely nobody bothered us. If on budged I strongly recommend this hotel.

Good site and very good location, its owners and employees are very friendly, there is a breakfast buffet very complete and included in the daily value, and there is a fridge and snacks down in the lobby, the surroundings are not physically well, but the sector is safe and close to everything.

+Points given for proimity to tour bus pick up point, hot water in shower, nice breakfast spread. You need to bring your own toothpaste. Shower is tiny but it gets the job done ☺ Wifi in common areas only.

Just a 3-star, nothing more maybe less… The breakfast was great… and nice where you ate breakfast… but the rooms let alone: a bad and constant smell that came from the bathroom, requesting a double room and gave me a triple with the larger bed from 1 pia and a half… there was no other available… The neighborhood where the hotel is located is not very nice and recommended but it is 20 minutes from downtown… so I would not go back but it is not bad.

I honestly didn' t find the hotel to meet the requirements of a 3 star hotel. The towels weren't changed everyday, just folded to look as they were changed. The internet doesn't work (don't t count on the wi fi in athens in general), the elevator it s noisy, doesn't feel very safe. The location of the hotel is OK, cause it s close to the main attraction points but the area is dirty, crowded, with beggers, crack heads and you will remain with a bed taste of Athens. If you don't have a balcony, go on the roof top, there is a nice terrace with tables where you can have a glass of wine (and nobody at the hotel told us about it) :) If you don't have high expectations, in general it' s OK.

Bad location in the city. Scary to walk outside at night. If you allready taking Metro to city, get a hotel in a better location, 2 Metro stops will take only additional 2 minutes :). The Receptionist is very not nice (day after we came, there was a very nice receptionist, who said there ia nothing to do about the other one).

The room is very clean and breakfast is good. The price is fair.

Stinky and Dirty…! We wanted to stay 4 nights and only stayed one, even because we checked in only about 11pm. Reviews at booking were apparently fake.

One of the best hotel in Athens very close from everything the staff there are wonderful it's very clean the breakfast in the morning was amazing every morning.

Very good value for money. Lovely staff. Good food. Close enough to the attractions without being shrouded in the crowds; a pleasant walk away. Felt like I was leaving family! Would definitely go back!

Staff was very friendly. About 20 minute walk from the Acropolis and the downtown area. Rooms are nice but a little spartan. The marble everywhere make everything echo.
