Good services
and receptionist are very friendly.

Reasons to stay at this hotel:
1) Location in the center of Athens and really near to the historical center as well!
2) Metro station really close to the hotel + 24 hours bakery cafeteria
3) Reasonable price, cleanliness, very good breakfast, but if you are looking for luxury furniture and decoration, this is not the place (for me was totally okay tho)
Last, but not less important, the staff at the front desk is so polite and very helpful!
P. S: 4 stars because some of the rooms are not really big

Very clean, good location near to letro station, and some rooms has a really nice view on the hills surrounding the city. Breakfast is very good and variant but it is almost the same every day. Great value for money.

Overall very nice, little small hallways and even rooms with beds, normally comfortable, small bathrooms, cozy dining/dining room and with various good quality foods, small balconies but all in all I recommend.

Good room and bathroom. Found it to be clean. Friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Rooftop restaurant of the hotel has a view of the acropolis though the food is mediocre at best.

The stay here was amazing and very welcoming with the staff and overall atmosphere. If you have the pleasure of being booked by Georgia her hospitality and availability to help is top notch as well. 5 star hotel!

If anybody is trying to find good deals on hotels visit HoteIRᴀven. Com booked a hotel on there and they had the best rates anywhere! Good service, good breakfast, good location and lovely people It's been a great experience, beater than many other hotels.

One star is too much for this Hotel.
*first of all when we arrived it took from them half an hour to find the booking in their system.
*2 the elevator was not working and our room was on the 6th floor.
*3 when we reached the room, we opened the door and we found out that the room was already taken and someone was sleeping there and was shocked.
4* we called the reception we told them about the huge mistake, he said come down to change the room (we were in the 6th floor) we didn’t accept to go down, we asked him to come up to us, we waited, no one showed up, then we had to go down again.
5* I booked and paid for a room with balcony, they said sorry we don’t have any. But they said they give us a room with “WINDOW” instead of balcony.
How rude was that.
Plus when we arrived, the reception guy didnt tell us any information, and when we asked he answered shortly.
I don’t recommend this hotel to any one, it looks good from outside only. I will never ever repeat staying there ever.

This is a nice hotel worth everything cent. It's cheap and its clean inside. Better than some 4 stars hotel I went to.

The location is right next to a chain called Bread Factory filled with cheap eats and desserts. Didn't spend too much time in the room, but all of the rooms are different, including the size of the showers. My room had a very small shower, but the balcony was very big compared to others. The hotel also had a beautiful roof top garden that had a veiw of the Parthenon.

I liked the café at the lobby. Wecoming and relaxing with great sofas.

The location is excellent. Position itself as 4 stars, but it is a normal threesome for 4 stars do not pull. There are problems with the Internet.

Cosy and very warm rooms, location not really excellsa but still guarantees quiet and safe nights. Overall very clean.

Nice environment But for the stars it has I expected something more. The rooms are very noisy Strange noises from the fridge and the annoying bathroom during the night. Breakfast with a very nice choice for an Italian menu.

Hotel acceptable though well away from the 4 star declaring. Out of the main Street the area is not quiet at all. I would not go back.

The room was quite small but comfortable, the service was ok and the receptionist was always available for any kind of help! Really near to the metro station. The only negative thing regards the area where the hotel is located, this area is not so nice and in some narrow street it could be quite dangerous to walk alone.

I was shuffled off to this dreadful hotel after they had over booked their sister hotel. It appears a common strategy to fill their less desirable hotels. The Phidias Hotel is on a pedestrian street at the foot of the Acropolis. It’s in a delightful location and has been thoughtfully renovated. That’s why I booked to stay there. The Crystal City Hotel is in a questionable location. No one has thought to renovate and is unlikely to. I woke at least three times with the suffocating smell of cigarette smoke wafting through my room. The breakfast was nice. The receptionist was nice and seemed to truly not be aware of the bait and switch being perpetrated on the naive or the under researched of which I confess to be one. Proceed with caution.

The hotel is good but the location is not very good. Very far from the center.

In a good location and close to transportation. Rooms are spacious but in general I could feel that it is too noisy. Personnel is available and kind. Room was clean but the furniture is spartan. Everything fit with the hotel rate.

If you are from a country where they do not smoke here smells a lot of cigar for the rest is well.

Everything in all a good hotel. The bathrooms are a bit small but clean. What disturbed me is the breakfast, the scrambled eggs did not even go. Maybe it was just an oversight that the breakfast was not so good. The hotel is in the center of the city, to the subway it is only 100 meters. I did not visit the restaurant on the roof of the hotel.

The accommodation was good and clean.

The people complaing about the breakfast and beds, apparently havent travelled much in europe. Every place I have stayed, the beds suck. The breakfast is pretty good. Scrambled eggs, fried eggs, meats, cheeses, pastries, espresso, fruit and veggies. This is a great place to stay and right next to the subway station. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip in November.

Very nice hotel indeed. Although not that much spacious rooms, but very clean and comfortable. Always helpful receiption personnel. Good breakfast and top romantic bar on the roof.

For the short time we were the place was very nice. Very clean and very comfortable rooms.

Super friendly and helpful staff! Breakfast was decent… however that's where the positive stuff stops… rooms are older but tidy, I am sure the mattresses havent been replaced in 20 years… they really need to be! Also a hand shower bracket costs 5 euro… they need to be installed in every shower we are not in the 60s to be holding a hand shower…

Is a quite place and accessible to metro and outside is the stop/station of hop off hop on bus…

Nice place for a quick visit to Athens. I liked the rooms, the staff is very nice. The restaurant wasn't so great tho. I ordered a steak, it was way too well done (and I asked for medium rare) and quite expensive.

Wi-Fi is really great at this place. Streaming HD video is very possible 24/7 and with range all over the building. Food diversity is not great, with only some salads and some main courses. Not generally great variety. Beds are not by favorite but they do the job. Bathroom is big enough to be confortable.

Comfortable and classy for the price. Really good cultural breakfast.

It was pleasant staying there but the hotel staff weren't that polite and the Internet connection was horrible, even if you put your device next to the router.

A cheap Hotel, discreet and helpful staff. You have to love the noise as some rooms have a view of the avenue.
Classic meals for lunch, dinner is served by a buffet.
In the evening, enjoy a drink on the terrace or dinner, overlooking the Parthenon (7th floor)
