The service in general. During my stay from 02 nd to 06.10.2020 I was allowed to use the concert grand piano in the Scheelesaal for practice purposes. That was great. I really enjoyed it. Thank you very much!

Today have only been here for lunch, clear menu extra for it, but really delicious eaten.

Everything is just right. The hotel has a great location everything is within walking distance. But you don't need to get out. Because the hotel offers everything you want. The hotel is lovingly and traditionally furnished. The food is very tasty whether breakfast or dinner. The staff no matter where (spa, restaurant, bar) are very friendly and relaxed on it. I can only highly recommend the hotel. And it smelled of freshly brewed coffee in the hallway every morning probably through its own coffee roastery, dreamlike!

Mit einer Einschränkung habe ich den Aufenthalt im Hotel Scheelehof als sehr angenehm empfunden. Als Einschränkung gilt ich die für mich nur bedingt nutzbare Dusche. Für größere Personen ist das Schließen der Duschtür fast unmöglich, was zu einer Überschwemmung im Bad führt.

A very nice hotel with a great ambience. Room very clean, breakfast, unique so much choice. There was nothing missing. The cellar bar just great. Very competent services and very good service, in all areas.

The journey was very good. In the short term I got a room in the hotel, for that thank you very much. I was very surprised that, based on the previous bookings, I was not in the system (or later with old data). Very friendly reception at the reception, a surprise you would also have ready for me, an upgrate. I think that was more of a disadvantage for me, because the room was brewing hot, no climate…! Well, for the weather the hotel can do nothing. But for an outstanding breakfast, an incredible selection of FRISCHEN treats. Thank you for that.

If you deserved a 5, but if you don't have fans or air conditioning in a 4* hotel in midsummer, there's only a 4. The one night was for us quite a torment due to the heat in the room and the "windows" could not be called windows. I tried to sleep on the floor in the bathroom but even there it was too warm.
The room itself was beautiful and I would recommend it for everyone, but not at such temperatures, more suitable for colder climates.

The five stars I am giving this hotel are well deserved. I don't normally do reviews, but the Scheelehof will be an exception. The service was amazing, location unbeatable, and the food excellent (both at the restaurant for dinner and the buffet breakfast). Great room. Don't worry about the parking. Just pull up to the front of the hotel, and someone will park your car. Then leave it for anything involving the city itself. Wonderful ambience. Service excellent, especially the concierge. Room unfortunately a bit tight. Bath unfit for purpose. Breakfast fine, but not outstanding. Dinner quite okay, but not for gourmets. Operation unfortunately a bit hectic. Overall, there is a certain difference between entitlement and reality.

We felt comfortable from the very first moment, which is mainly due to the very friendly, attentive staff, who can be contacted at all times in all areas of the house. The entire house has something special, the premises, with their always surprising architecture, stand out from other houses. Especially noteworthy are not only the good beds, but the really very wide range of food and drinks, which invites you to an extensive breakfast. We were completely satisfied with the package booked, even compared to other hotels, and will certainly return to this house whenever the road leads us to Stralsund.

It's a very nice hotel. I'm here for the third time. Always in the former Swedish consulate. During my last stay I had a few defects in the room, but after my complaint were immediately rectified.

I liked the house from the beginning, so I spontaneously extended my planned stay.
It was all there but also everything you would expect from a super hotel.
Well, with a swimming pool you could have topped the whole thing. But of course I can do a week without swimming.

' Excellent ' the hotel is ideally located in the old town of Stralsund. All the staff from the front desk to the reception as well as the breakfast staff is so nice that it is worth coming back. The breakfast is the mega-popper. No wishes are left open. Overall, the hotel is worth a clear further recommendation. Also the stay with dog was nicely recorded, which is rare. We will definitely come back.

The Scheelehof seems rather inconspicuous from the outside. Only the interior clearly shows how lovingly the old house was modernized.
We were at a conference with a subsequent cooking class at the Scheele House. Absolutely recommended.

We waited 2 hours for our food. Affects the Italian Restaurant! The food did not meet our expectations. Price performance does not fit.

Ceilings too low in the room. Could hardly stand upright. Ambiance in the hotel is nice but at the reception you should be careful to give a 1, 90 man no room with felt ("historically") 1, 95 ceiling height. The bathroom was also still in relatively poor condition. It was far too expensive for that. We're not going to hit any more. Too bad, because breakfast and coffee were great. The impression does not continue in the room. You just want to get away.

I spent the turn of the year at this beautiful romantic hotel. We felt very comfortable there in our double room under the top of the roof of the house 3. We will certainly be back soon.

Were there at Christmas time, the staff were seemingly a little understaffed or overwhelmed, even the food took a little longer. But it was just Christmas days, I think it won't always be like that.
The map was quite short, but one seems to concentrate fully on the courts, with success. The dishes are really very tasty and explain the price!
Our waiter was very humorous even during the stressful time.
There is also our own coffee there, which we (I sometimes go out as compensation for the waiting time) got to say goodbye.

The hotel offers a small but fine wellness area, which offers classic massages as well as numerous other opportunities to relax.
The restaurant, which is part of the hotel, offers an extensive menu. Of particular note is the separate vegan menu, which is characterized by a lot of imagination in the creations. The wine selection is extensive, but not confusing.

The hotel is incredibly beautiful with an elegant stalk and wonderful nice staff. It is a place to feel good and relax. We are very happy to come back.

This hotel is our favorite hotel. It is romantic and beautiful, very central and well located. We always like to come here. Only hair in the soup was that we didn't get a seat Saturday for breakfast at 9:30 and had to wait 15 to 20 minutes for something to clear. You can't do that at all! Staff were also overwhelmed at the stage and apparently understaffed, with plates not cleared. I would also have expected that you might be enough to have a gal of sparkling wine if you already have to wait for a free table. That wasn't a good service!
Otherwise everything is used to good.

We visited the romantic hotel Scheelehof with some friends and enjoyed this visit. The rooms are very pleasant and well equipped. A bit awkward are some paths within the hotel — but this design of the historic building fabric is gladly accepted. The restaurant offers good food — was unpleasant that the same food was also served differently on different days. Also, the kitchen on a Saturday ("full house") was clearly completely overloaded. The basement pub appealed to us less.
The hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful!

We came by accident from the parking side to the hotel and that was already an experience. They made a real trip to the front desk.
The room was very quiet and nicely decorated.
Breakfast was also very good and relaxed. There was no rush.
Our dinner was fantastic and the visual as well as tasteful.
The waitresses are friendly and accommodating.
All around it were super days. We had only booked two nights.

As I said: They have a very nice ambiance. The 4 houses are a bit confusing and hard for older people to find their rooms.
But they have especially lovely, friendly helpful staff which is a lot of compensates.
Alone in the morning to 7.30 only have ice-cold water in the bathroom and shower — so shaving and showering an imposition that I have never experienced in any hotel before — was for me a bitter disappointment and so was the one or the other of us too. What a pity! Nevertheless, I ask for an explanation — if necessary, a consolation plaster. Respectfully Dr. Meyl.

We were in Stralsund for the wedding of my niece and the whole family was booked into the Scheelehof. We had a very good time and found the hotel very nice and the staff extremely attentive. We can only recommend this hotel!

Ate lunch here and it was great! Cake for desert was included, just a shame that no alternative for people with allergies was available.

The hotel is very clean, the staff helpful and friendly, the food very good, the rooms cozy clean and the bathroom very well equipped, I would always choose the hotel!

We are here for the third time and we find the romantic hotel enchanting. It proves how wonderfully you can combine the old and the new. The preserved architecture radiates warmth and cosiness. The courtyard is beautifully laid out, the rooms very cozy and matching the red brick walls, furnished. The breakfast excellently prepared, the pastry chef understands his craft and The dinner very tasty… The staff always friendly and very eager to fulfill every request. A must-see is the spa area, or The versatile range of massages ect. The physiotherapists are really very good… You feel in good hands. We feel completely at home.

Very nice hotel situated in the old town of Stralsund. It has a superb breakfast with cava and you can also order omelette and fried eggs and bacon to be served free of charge. The rooms are nicely renovated and bringing out the details from the13-century buildings in wich the hotel resides.

We spent in this hotel of one night (Deluxe double room) including candlelight dinner as well as a two-hour stay at the private spa. There was nothing objectionable, all were very friendly and obliging. The car is parked in the car park opposite. Great atmosphere, we will be back!

Very good food but very poor service. We have been waiting for over 1 hour on the food. Once in between, the drinks were all you had to almost beg the waiter to come to our table. After a very delicious meal, we waited 45 min again on the Bill. "I've forgotten you. " was what we got told to do so.
We are not looking for the restaurant.

My husband and I have three wonderful nights in the Scheelehof spent. The building combines the romantic, old world charm with new and modern elegance. Our room (Scheelehof Suite), invited to the Dream. Everything was clean and well maintained, the staff was knowledgeable and very friendly. The catering in the home is excellent. We were in all three venues in the home, food/drink and the price — performance ratio has always voted. Both in the "scheel's", the gourmet restaurant, as well as in the "Scheel" the Service was impeccable and the food of this quality will be the next time we are probably still dreaming. The ambience in "Scheels laboratory" is rustic, cozy and inviting place to stay — nice bar staff contributes to this by each drink with a Smile on his lips, prepared and served. The Wellness area with various saunas and applications (in our case, a Massage and Private Spa) gave us a great experience. We have recovered very well and the relaxing atmosphere enjoyed. All in all, our stay so much that we even to a night extended, and the next holiday is already planned.

All top! The room, Service, food and location were wonderful! Like to come once again.

At Its Finest! A gem of a hotel in the Hanseatic city.

Was a great deal 2 Night stay with Breakfast, Halbtagssegeltörn and a 3-course meal Abenmenue — unfortunately thought the Service is probably the the food is already paid for then you need to be in the Service not reinknien. Empty glasses and plates were overlooked even though the Restaurant is empty and enough personnel. The appearance of the food was great just the taste and the amount left to be desired, so we quickly the wide words, and even a Snack in the city participated. As I said, the Hotel and Hotel staff as well as Breakfast and sailing were mega class — only in the Restaurant for Scheel and staff must work.

The staff are very attentive, the decor is time not from the bar and the food is excellent. It will, upon request, even Allergy-free bed prepared as well as individual food is cooked. Thank You =).
